Hey everyone,

Just started up my 2 S7's for the first time last night.

Everything was looking normal at first but now i dont seem to get any rewards, am i doing something wrong or is this normal and waiting for confirmation?

Mahalo nui loa for all the good info on hosting sites. I have to decide if I want to try to expand my mining outside of this venue, and if I can make a profit (a reasonable one re ROI) with that arrangement it would be good. Cryptoboreas looks good, but isn't really set up for remote access as yet, which I think I require (my paranoia).

Oh, yeah...wake up to good coffee and lotsa blocksa! Mine on!  Kiss

main server down ? All my miners went to failover.

Everything on Kano's end seems to be working fine...

and then some. this was a good block wake up. Maybe Kano needs 2-3x more CN nodes heheheh.

A while back, one of y'all had a recommendation re a colocating/hosting company, I think it was in WA state. I'm now having to look at perhaps doing that for some of my "spare" hardware. Please PM me if you have any info. Mahalo...  Grin

I sent you a PM on the subject...

Firstly... Halo to you all here! I am kind of new and been pointing my gear to Kano for some weeks and follow this thread and discussion avidly and enjoy doing it!

clgrissom3 I am also keen to hear more about hosting options that is any good for hardware that I cant keep at home due to electricity limits if you would share with me your info or experience that will be appreciated big time..!! Thanks

I currently have a bunch of S7s at Toomim Brothers (http://toom.im/) and I could not be happier with them.  Jonathan and his brother are quick to act, knowledgeable, conscientious, and are great communicators.  (think USA versions of kano and -ck   Grin)  Felicia, the Mistress of Accounts is a delight to work with.  Email Jonathan Toomim at [email protected] with any questions you may have.

I know we have some here that host at Oregon Mines (https://www.oregonmines.com/) and I hear that SideHack is full right now.  I have the last of my S5s in a data center in Sweden (not recommended…cheap but not very responsive).

The cheapest place I know of is Great North Data in Canada (http://www.greatnorthdata.com/).  I seriously tried to send a bunch of S5s to them but at the last second they decided that they would only take a new client if they had at least 30KW of hardware.  My S5s at the time were only 10KW worth.  I have not heard if they still have this policy or not.

Thanks for the info I might seek some more info or pointers as thing go along, will reach out to you then again. Tx

So far, Canada has the cheapest hosting rates worldwide. I think i read that  Great North Data is full. There are two other Canadian host sites which are cheaper still:

1. http://www.cryptoboreas.com/

2. https://www.cryptominer.ca/page/hosting

Both are less than $60 (USD) per kw per month.

All my hosting is with Crytoboreas and i'm quite happy.

As for the second one, I never used his service so i can't comment on it but I can tell that he won't have any of my business for others reasons.

I'm happy with Crytoboreas too and sending a couple more rigs to them soon. They're quite responsive and have no set up fee.

Looks like antpoo had a 6 hour period with no blocks. More for us.
Heh Smiley
Unfortunately/fortunately it doesn't work that way.
We simply find blocks when we find them, independent of how many others find and when others find them.
