Yup. Website and pool down.

Website is ok for me, although hashrate is low so maybe a minor DDOS? noticed my miners did go to my backup pool very briefly but back at Kano.is now.

Anyone know what this transaction is all about  Huh

08691d30f3a15697576f34e0702c0d721f92ff83770511f64edd36c6cc692dcd

Did I miss something somewhere?

Could it be dust payments?

They were all 0.0001
To consistent, maybe Kano is testing out his new payment processing code.

Came across this article about taking down a group linked to DDOS attacks on Bitcoin. Good news!

http://m.theinquirer.net/inquirer/news/2441680/europol-tackles-dd4bc-bitcoin-hacking-group

I don't think it means attacks on the Bitcoin network/pools but rather they are using Bitcoin as the ransom payment. The DDOS are likely to be against business, banks etc...

Hi Kano, I've moved a miner to stratum+tcp://de.kano.is:3333 and put the main server as back up as you suggested.

The move was without problem and worker looks to be hashing fine.

Thank you kano for your continued hard work and constantly improving the pool.

When using any of these servers as your first mining server, I'd recommend you use the main server as your first backup.
If the remote servers go down due to 'unforeseen circumstances' the main server may still be fine

The reverse is actually also possible, but not as likely, that the remote server could be mining ok if the normal access to the main server is under attack, but the remote server connections are just out of the line of fire.

As mentioned earlier, all your shares to each server show up in the one place, on the main web site.

Might of been the difficulty change

EDIT: That shift was only 11 seconds

Yep as the Help->Payouts page says Smiley

"A network difficulty change will also end the current shift and start a new shift."
