I believe you can message Kano your ip and info to confirm its you to get unblocked.

How long does it take to have the kano page timeout when you get locked out? incorrectly entered info on my phone and have been locked out for like 5 hours...
I did this same thing. It was the next day before I got back in.

A biiiiit long, but it is what it is. Trying to learn the ins and outs of this pool is really rough. 2/10 for new miner user friendliness. If it were not for the active community i'd definitely mine elsewhere.
I literally just joined it 4 days ago. All my questions are only a few pages back. Lol

Wow! Cobramining had quite the increase in terahash....
I've noticed some S7's are starting to fall in price. I wonder if the S9's will fall slowly as well as they are being released or if they are just going to be the "go-to" while everyone dumps their S7's.
I'm really trying to build up my hash rate.
Thoughts?

No but when I was locked out for typing in the wrong name it took a day to get back in. I would suggest trying again tomorrow

Well, no S9's for me tonight.... Maybe one more Block can be found before I wake up... :-) Then I'll be a bit happier.
This is like a full time purchasing job to buy these. I don't even know if their claim for being able to wire USD to them was a legit one because I never got to that point. Was hopeful.

The option was there. I used Btrash though. Easier as I have read numerous reports about them asking for more money after the initial wire was sent to cover their wire fees. With the speed and intensity of their customer service team (NOT) it is almost impossible to get an issue answered and resolved in a reasonable amount of time.
I ordered 10 S9's, paid by USD wire. Added $15 to the wire to cover their fees (should have only added $5), got confirmed as paid yesterday.

Got all excited when I saw a pending payout amount in my bitcoin wallet. I thought we had hit a block. Checked the kano.is website and no block, payment was just unconfirmed in the mempool. Sigh, oh well.

Does anyone use any APC surge protection on the miners? Thunderstorm knocked 9 of my miners offline and i'd like to prevent it.
I had this very same question in another thread and it was recommended to be using a surge protector for this very reason. I will be looking into them also.
When I had my 220v line put in for my miners, I had them install a whole house surge protector in the panel. It cost about $300, but it protects everything in the house.
edit: however, it only protects from spikes outside the house, it does not protect against surges that happen inside the house.
Thank you. I will be doing this as the panel gets installed tomorrow. I use Tripplite PDUs but they dont help in this manner.
