I had this very same question in another thread and it was recommended to be using a surge protector for this very reason. I will be looking into them also.

When I had my 220v line put in for my miners, I had them install a whole house surge protector in the panel. It cost about $300, but it protects everything in the house.

edit: however, it only protects from spikes outside the house, it does not protect against surges that happen inside the house.

I run a Tripplite LC1800 line conditioner on each of my psu's at home. Saves a lot of grief. Kiss

I use a page reload add-on, set to every 5 minutes, on the blocks page

There's one for firefox and chrome, so I guess probably for anything else anyone uses.

Obviously this is my desktop. There's not much point doing that on a phone or tablet though.

Well for me google chrome had auto set my username as my email address in the login box. After a couple clicks trying to log on. I realized what had happened. Since your email isn't a login alternative. I was locked out temporarily. I fixed that problem.
