Just keep my passion for gambling and gaming a secret because the income from here is very unlikely because it is not so reliable because it is only limited to my pleasure in sports betting but all that is a secret.

It is a different thing when I have other income I even dare to be open about this because this is a legitimate income that I have if all is kept secret then what is the point when the family does not know about it let alone the wife?

If gambling is still very reasonable, but work does not need to be secret it becomes our achievement.

Some of them wouldn't mind if their secret was revealed. They can reason out afterward. Somehow they avoided defending the habit as there was nothing to defend yet. Thus preventing having something to argue with a wife or an envious in-law.

Let's say they just found out you gambled some of your money every month. From now on they may just talk to you about it and instead of having the freedom to browse and be alone on your laptop, your wife may just be watching over your shoulder. Worse your in-laws are also there watching you. Revealing to your biological brother, I think it's fine but some may find it not fine.

Yeah, you can't argue something with people who will close minded about your activity whatever things you try to let them understand your participation, you won't hear anything good as they only want to believe what they understand and nothing else, you should be aware of what you are doing.

Share if you know those people will understand and will let you continue and not being criticize, else, just keep it on you and let things
be discreetly practiced without any side opinions from other people.

If you want to share your friends about the gambling the most important one is you need to know they will get addicted or not.The gambling had both positive and negative things,the positive one is you can get some stress reduction because of the gambling.The negative one considered in the gambling is addiction,the addiction is hard to over come in short period of time.The gambler should not consider the gambling as the negative one.The thought process is most important one in the gambling.

I won't mind telling others that I am a gambler and I often spend my time on online gambling. But I tell this information only to those friends who know me well and they have no objection on gambling.

Other people who do not encourage gambling or they do not like gambling , better not tell them about my this habit because they will create an necessary comments and will only disturb me and nothing else. No harm in hidding that you are a gambler from these people.

If you are a very rich person like Bill Gates or someone like that, I don’t have any problems, You are already very rich and you have money to throw around, you do whatever you like. But if you are not rich, and by rich I mean, at least a multi-millionaire, you should not gamble big money in my opinion.

Those which have developed an addiction understand very well that what they are doing is not right, but at the same time their desire to keep doing this activity is so strong that they realize that if they are open about their problems then the people that care about them will make an effort to stop them.

And either those people believe they do not need any help and they can stop whenever they want, even if this is not true, or they are so far gone they prefer to hide this information to keep their addiction going on, and deceive their family and friends for as long as they can.

When we have best friends who are very good friends, we can't really hide anything from them, even if we try to keep a secret, especially when it has to do something with an addiction. They will eventually come to know about it, or they will simply sense it because there will be a certain change in our behavior that they will notice. Now, a good friend will try to get you out of something that might be troublesome for you no matter what it is.

So, sometimes, we might not be willing to reveal a certain secret to our best friends, but they still understand what we are trying to do. If it's something that doesn't affect you mentally or physically, you might be able to keep it a secret but if it does affect you, your body language will give it away.

Indeed, it's easy to say something but in reality it's difficult to handle, there are many things that affects either you are in the position of being addicted gambler or you are in the side of the person who wanted to help and not to allow a friend or a relative to engage that deep with gambling, we can discuss more about it but in reality, the chance of listening or making a stop is just a word and can't be back up of any actions that we deal on it.

And I think there must be people who want to be our friends and try to help us overcome the problems we face with gambling. We don't have to worry about the person because we can get them so we can start sharing stories with them. We may need to look carefully because not everyone can keep our secrets, so we may need to select who the person is.
