One progress to be grateful for. Although before this also has many products and places that can use bitcoin as a means of payment. But for the KFC class I think this is quite interesting to boost the popularity of bitcoin itself.
If it really happen,KFC of all branches accept bitcoin as a payment option it will be a big opportunity for bitcoin user to use bitcoin in other sector.
After knowing this news I'm feeling really happy.! It's a good news for Canadians bitcoiners also! I wish in my country it's also happen!

I heard about this news a few months ago. I think KFC Canada just wanted to take advantage of bitcoin hype to promote their place back then. But anyway, i appreciate them for accepting Bitcoin.
Very advanced once this bitcoin, i believe more and more compaines are joining the bitcoin to transact. The development of the era is really amazing, i am happy to get to know and invest with this bitcoin. Hopefully more companies in the countries that use it.

Random companies have been doing Bitcoin acceptance promotions for years. 2013/2014 had tons of companies. It's a complete non-issue marketwise. And if anything, the trend was for people to sell when companies like Microsoft announced they were accepting Bitcoin. Why did people sell? Because companies sign up with payment processors like Bitpay who immediately sell their BTC they recieve in sales and convert it to USD. Thus people perceive that as a negative from a market perspective.
This is a big publicity for Bitcoin and KFC. People can now understand what is the use of Bitcoin as payment. and this can make them invest with Bitcoin.
That means Bitcoin continues to spread and improve its adaptability.

Thats good news for bitcoin. Hope many countries and business accept bitcoin in the near future. Now bitcoin characteristics as a currency will be good. For the past years bitcoin is best at being used as a investment, but now i think that the move of canada will make bitcoin good in being used as payment. If many more countries and businesses will follow this move, things will be in favor for bitcoin and for us investors. That means Bitcoin continues to spread and improve its adaptability.

This is really great and this means that bitcoin is now slow improving not only as an investment but as a payment system where people having another choice of currency to pay and hope some establishment also will follow.
Ive read some post where mcdonalds accepts bitcoin as a payment so its not that surprising to hear that KFC accepts bitcoin next. Even though thats the case, we should be thankful that more and more shops and places accepts cryptocurrency. If this would continue, its possible that bitcoin is accessible all over the world for the next 5 years.
This is not an recent event, as I recollect this has happened earlier what may be recent that your friend has seen it now which is encouraging that people are seeing it and spreading it out to others, there is no better publicity than than word of mouth. I don't think there has been any major effect on the prices though so let's see if in long term there's any effect.

One of the international food chain KFC has accepted bitcoin payment in Canada, if this truly happen then this another leap of bitcoin services and this would increase the trust of the people and investor to the bitcoin and cryptocurrency.
This is just a continues adoption of Bitcoin worldwide and I do hope that other international food chain will also accept Bitcoin as payment. So this shows that Bitcoin is really incredibly well inspite of many FUD.

It was just a publicity stunt and it was not done in all KFC branches. We hoped that this might spark a global adoption of all KFC branches, but nothing has happened so far. I will not get too exited until I see a "Bitcoin Accepted here" sticker in all the branches. They did not report their findings anywhere, so we might never know how successful that experiment was.

That's a great news, i think all branches of KFC in canada accepting bitcoin payment. Government of canada starting to embrace bitcoin and that has a big impact on the price of bitcoin entirely.
