I haven’t been around in a while but I received your OG piece yesterday.   I want to thank you and say what a pleasant surprise it was to receive the piece in the mail.  Thanks!

@Eclipse I paid a huge fee trying to get these tx’s confirmed on the halving block, but the network was so congested that it still took two days. Pretty sure I paid more than double. There was a premium on the brick of uncirculated $1 bills, too.

@Mitchell, yes!

@CanaryInTheMine, Thank you and yes I agree!

@Hox, thank you! Crazy thing is I started working on this in 2023!

Gajillion isn’t funded, but the suggested amount is relatively small compared to the piece’s overall value. It can be deducted from the final price upon request. This approach helps ensure everything stays within the proper framework.

I decided not to provide the public keys because the OG artworks are meant to be fixed collectibles–a snapshot of Bitcoin’s value and history.

Thanks all, hope everyone had a nice Xmas!

I definitely didn't have "Million dollar diamond incrusted meat themed Kialara release" on my 2024 bingo card. Amazing work.

The OG is also a very nice gesture to your previous buyers, I will be proud to show off mine Grin

I have added these to the coin wiki:

https://wiki.coin.community/Kialara_-_Rare

https://wiki.coin.community/Kialara_-_Gajillion

https://wiki.coin.community/Kialara_-_OG

@Kialara the "Gajillion" description is unclear if it's sold funded or not? Can you please clarify if this is sold funded or buyer funded. Also, the OG notes don't appear to have public keys visible, is that correct?

Cheers

Awesome! Thanks for sharing Eclipse. You always take the nicest photos - and I love the Frosty postmark.

I've already sent out 500 of these (with 200 of those being international) so hoping to hear that more have made it to their destinations soon!

recipients out to tweet them out as they get it tagging you and the link to Rare steak!
amazing work!

I showed the note around Christmas proceedings today. Everyone was very interested to learn more, also the mystery related to what exactly it is as there was no formal explanation note. We read about the note and it's meaning on the Kialara.com website.

A question came to my mind when reading,

"If the 1600 sats were indeed funded during the 4th halving block height, that makes them rare sats."

I wanted to get confirmation that each piece was funded at 4th halving blockheight. As if this is the case, this is indeed very collectable as those are some very rare sats and a piece of history.

Kind of mind blowing actually as I was not able to gather some of those "rare sats" myself during the 4th halving.

Meet Rare—a steak worth more than most homes.

This 2.56 lb platinum ribeye, priced at $1.4M, is adorned with over 200 carats of hand-set diamonds and rubies. It’s humor, absurdity, and craftsmanship cooked to perfection—but it’s also serious. Steak represents sustenance, strength, and tradition—values humanity has cherished for millennia.

Also in the series:

• Gajillion – A bold reimagining of a rare $1,000 bill from 1934.

• OG – Steak, Bitcoin, and legacy, captured in 1,000 uniquely hand-painted $1 bills, gifted to my supporters.

And if anyone missed it: I’ve just published Kialara: Art & Bitcoin, a retrospective of my 10+ years creating Bitcoin art. The PDF is free to download on my website. Whether you’re an art collector, Bitcoin enthusiast, or simply curious, there’s something here for you.

Check it all out at http://kialara.com

Merry Christamas and Happy Holidays to everyone!

I got  a email somebody was attempting to change my password on here, so I figured I'd stop in and see how we are doing here.  Has there been any of the 9 other Thug Lyfe $100 bill pieces sell lately?  Still proudly own #7.

perhaps start a new thread? Are you  looking to sell yours?

Mopar perhaps just hold off for a couple weeks while I come up with a plan. I'm deep into a couple other projects currently. Until then there's the pdf available. Hox, good ideas.

I’ve gotten some interest in hardcover and signed copies. Honestly, my focus was just on keeping it simple and accessible—like offering the free PDF. I didn’t plan for anything extra, but it’s something I might think about early next year.

A signed and/or hologram/keyed collectors edition would be amazing. Hardcover would be nice, but I'd be happy if you used some of the paperback copies to make this.

I will be ordering a couple books later today - so if you decide to sign them, would I just be able to send you back the ones I ordered? or should I wait to order?
