I think it's bad to change the conditions at the end of the bounty. Perhaps it's requirements of exchanges where tokens will be listed.

I think KYS should be present, there is nothing wrong with the fact that the campaign knows its heroes)

I don't know what people are so afraid of when passing KYC. I am well aware that with the information that I provide, nothing can be done. It's just a normal selfie. And passport details, etc., I quietly obscure, other than name and photo. Because they have a requirement is " a Document proving the accuracy of the data entered."And they ask to enter only a name.

Its definitely not a fair decision because bounty hunters would have been used for free promotions before they announce the KYC . Sometimes most of the bounty hunters don't have valid documents to pass KYC so they will forfiet their reward. Its not fair, the bounty announcement should include KYC check at the start of the bounty campaign not the end.

What do you think about bounty campaigns that announce their KYC check at the end of the campaign? Many bounty hunters simply don't want to do that and the bounty managers or the ICO teams get free promotion for their projects.

Is this fair?

Every bounty thread should clearly state, wether there will be a KYC or not. We should ask the admins for changing the rules regarding this issue.

What do you think?

Usually they have announce before to preparing kyc if needed but for some reason many ICO have annoucement in the last days after bounty hunter has register and start bounty.
It's not about fair or unfair but like a jobs in real life, we must doing and preparing before because boss is always true. Cheesy

I think it is totally unfair to require KYC verification from bounty hunters because they are not investors (customers) and they only promote the project.
Firstly, I do not see anything complicated to present my documents for identification. But secondly, if I take the legal aspect of this issue, then I completely agree with you, because there is no reason to demand that personal data be provided to those to whom they pay for their work.

I think it's okay, the purpose of the bounty is just to make sure there is no cheating to the bounty of the participants, because so many cheaters are changing the wallets of the participants with their wallets, so with his ADM asked to fill the KYC like that

I think it will be well appreciated if bounty managers should endeavour to disclose from the outset that there will be need for bounty hunters to undergo kyc to be entitled to their reward rather than telling them when they have worked, then getting nothing from it and bounty participants should also do well to go through the bounty thread to know if there is any information as regards kyc.

KYC-requirement is okay if it's mentioned in the bounty-rules from the beginning...
However if they just change the rules during the bounty or even after the bounty has ended, I'd say it's just an attempt to minimize the reward as many people won't do the KYC-verification and in this case it's close to scam.
Some time ago I participated in the DOCK.io bounty-campaign and after the bounty has ended they just said they need KYC-verification to filter off scammers and to be compliant while the airdrop was distributed without any verifications. I passed KYC and got my rewards but it's still not okay to do major changes like that after the end of the bounty (and yes, I know most bounties reserve the right to do changes to the rules)

Totally agree with you. If payments for social networks will be small, then who wants to show their documents for $ 20-15? And of course you need to say this in the end and not in the first post, but in a normal font without excretions

Firstly,I guess this is really unfair for the bounty hunters to have KYC at the end of the bounty. But later i see it potential and how it work and i feel good with, it prevents fraudulent work, use of multiple accounts and also use of other people bitcointalk account.

I do hate doing KYC in getting my bounty payout. And i avoid bounties with KYC even though the payout will be high. In some cases i would only did KYC when the rules was changed and have no choice to submit my application to get my payout.

I am absolutely sure that most of the managers of companies that enter the KYC procedure at the end of the bounty are ordinary scammers. If this was not announced in advance then this is a deception and looks like blackmail.

If the bounty manager at the beginning of the company bounty warns that it will be necessary to pass the KYC, then this is normal, but when at the end of the company's bounty it is not normal.

KYC is a standard procedure in many companies, and I have nothing against it. Companies just want to know that you are a real person, not a bot. But what is said about this procedure at the end of the company is unfair, you need to specify all the conditions in advance. Maybe some of the bounty members wouldn't take part in this company.

For me I am supporting of KYC in bounty and i think it will be a good thing if all the bounty will implement KYC for the hunters before you claim your tokens, I said this because many people are doing all sorts of fraud with bounty, stealing people content, account, multi-accounts etc. So kyc will be a way to reduce such occurrence .

I'm not against the KYC, it would have been better if it had been warned in advance, and not later in the course of the company. Because you do not always keep track of all the news, and you can skip the moment when you need to do KYC, and just lose your tokens.

Yes, rules to are meant to be followed and obeyed. Not on the part of bounty participants alone or the bounty banagers, but also on the part of the project team. I do not believe in bringing up KYC most especially when is not stated at the start of the campaign. I am not against KYC, but it is better if stated at the beginning of the campaign.
