With this, there's nothing to be done. Almost everywhere you already need kyc, whether it's investing in an ICO project, bounty campaign or airdrop. Many came to crypto because of anonymity, but alas the rules are constantly changing.

I have recently seen where bounty hunters were asked to present identifying documents.  Am really against kyc because one of the reasons I joined crypto was the anonymity which it provides. But sadly that's gently creeping away.

Now this KYC has come into airdrops. Imagine am to submit my ID to some I don't know which planet he or she or they are from for some pennies worth tokens.

It's terrible and this is a bad precedence these people are setting.

If as a community we do not say no to this,  then it would become the norm.

I personaly against this kind of procedure even in bounty campaign they need KYC for wht reason? As far as i understand  KYC needed only in people who investing there money and the team wnat to know whre there money came form that why need KYC  but applicable in bounty and airdrop

Why would I put myself in the danger of submitting my real identity over the internet to some anonym that can use it in any illegal way? KYC does not work at all how it should as it was written over the forum several times

Totally agree! Sometimes KYC is required to ICOs but due to AML. Airdrops don't provide such a danger because of small prizes for your activity. Airdrops are not worth to do KYC...

But nobody forces you to participate in airdrops, so forget about them. The homeless give a greater grace than airdrop pays its participants.

I always feel insecure when I have to provide my KYC. You never know how your personal data will be used in the future, so I do not think that airdrops worth it.

Now it's like a plague. I see many airdrops that require KYC.
Every second pinned message in Telegram groups is 'please submit KYC for bounty/airdrop to
be qualified for token distribution'.
Well I don't know, I do understand that it's a mandatory for investors, but for community
that spreads a word about the project ? No thanks, I'll skip as i don't want to trade my documents for a few cents.

I am sure that the collection of confidential information in airdrops will not lead to anything good. It's counter-productive, getting a few coins for a fee with your data.

Of course it is bad, many people are now leaving airdrops due this, who wants to sell his ID for few bucks?

It is not good idea to provide your documents to untrusted projects. I think that some airdrops could be organised to get copies of IDs only. It have value for black market.

I do not think that the provision of their personal data is a prerequisite for participation in the bounty or airdrop companies. Me personally, these innovations do not like them.

I would agree to do KYC if i were an investor because it is for the project's team member to know where their investors live because some of the ICO have restriction of who can invest in their project but asking KYC for airdrops that cost pennies i think it is a joke. By the way, don't join that airdrop, it is just a waste of time.

I hope Airdrop remains without KYC.
A solution couuld be to found a service that is used for KYC so user input only verification code and document are sent only to a trusted verification organisation

KYC for airdrop programs is a way to limit cheaters who want to win a lot of prizes, so I think that is very necessary. There should be fairness for everyone and KYC is a good way to do it.

In my opinion it is out of place for coin or token promoter to request for KYC for a small amount of token. What do they need it for? KYC is required when you are making coin purchase of reasonable sums as to ensure ownership. Requesting for KYC at Airdrops should be discouraged.

Why would I do kyc for airdrop? How much is the airdrop worth?. I would do for bounty and it depends on the project itself but kyc for airdrop is NO for me.

Lol first KYC in bounty campaigns, now in the Ardrops. This is not right, there should be some kind of confidentiality. And in general, why would anyone know the identity of a person, that would give him a couple of coins?

I'm a full-fledged supporter of anonymity on the network, so I do not want KYC for airdrops and for bounty, because I think that this way people lose their anonymity, and most likely they will not stop, I think that people would probably not be the best handed documents

Never join strange airdrop. what the fuck they need KYC? they only need your personal info and through to your wallet some rubbish coin which have 0 value. But you know your data worth more than everything you can images. stay away with airdrop
