I have recently seen where bounty hunters were asked to present identifying documents.  Am really against kyc because one of the reasons I joined crypto was the anonymity which it provides. But sadly that's gently creeping away.

Now this KYC has come into airdrops. Imagine am to submit my ID to some I don't know which planet he or she or they are from for some pennies worth tokens.

It's terrible and this is a bad precedence these people are setting.

If as a community we do not say no to this,  then it would become the norm.
I fully agree with you. I don't believe that to introduce KYC for participants in the bounty of the companies norm. I believe that this is only for investors, and the participants of the bounty companies are not. The coins that receive the bounty is the reward for their work, and nothing else.

even I do not like at all the procedure kyc nor for the airdrop nor for the bounty I do not like it in general, in my opinion goes against the principles for which they were created cryptocurency such as anonymity

I think that those companies asking for personnal information just to give few buks or pennies should be avoided.
Why will i disclose my real ID to a random team of unknown/Fake guys ?
At least if a well known company launches an ico and Ask for KYC in a bounty program, i Can participante depending on the estimated worth of the airdrop per participant.
Otherwise, i stay away.

Everyone likes on one hand to have the guarantees of a correct functioning, and at the same time to maintain anonymity.
Unfortunately, this is not possible.
The regulation of the market can only go through the identification of the players.

Such airdrops should be ignored, plus we need to draw the attention of other people to the danger of participation in them. I think if everyone does this, then this practice will not spread.

It is certainly an annoying thing, but it is a necessary step towards regulating the system. We can not complain about the scams and the lack of clarity, if then when we ask something that helps to put a little order we refuse.

I think that for airdrops it is bust (although a couple of times I met such with large payments). Some confidentiality should still remain, because the documents required for presentation are serious enough, and when they are used by other persons there may be problems

will never join any airdrops that required KYC " KNOW YOUR CUSTOMER "
well there are a lot of airdrops that are just scams, and we are in danger with our information in public.

Will do you KYC for few bucks? This is impossible and probably they want your ID only for selling on the black market,

Who the hell would give their identity just for airdrops? Lol. Unless you're planning to invest but still not sure if the project will work and will properly keep those info they gathered we all know that some ico's are scam.

i personally don't support the idea of submitting KYC for Airdrops, but it becomes more require when most airdrops faucets are been cleared up by bots instead of real humans... this companies don't wanna pay to bots but humans who can actually add value to their project or be a potential investor. So i think the introduction of KYC in most cases is to filter out bots and cheaters. Just my opinion.

I was actually rather surprised. why this airdrop should now use kyc as a condition for us to get token. The KYC should only apply to investors who buy tokens and investments there. If for bounty hunter I think there is no profit. Not that I really hate this KYC. but I hope that there will be no unfortunate occurrences in relation to this KYC issue.
Such cases, when it is necessary to pass KYC - increases, even for members of the bounty of companies. They say that without a difference, you participated in airdrop, bounty, or you invested in projects, all who will receive tokens must undergo this procedure. But we choose companies and accept their rules, we always have a choice ...

Yes, you either agree and participate, or you don't agree and pass by.
But I wouldn't take part in the airdrops at all, especially in those where KYC is required

I have personally try to avoid submitting my own personal documents to companies in order to take part in airdrops, as you would never know what will the companies do with all your personal documents after they received it, and I think most of the companies does not even have a secure security system in place to protect those important documents of the participants.
That's the point why i am also not joining even in a legit campaign, I knew KYC is needed to lessen the amount that a participants must buy and the other hand is the investors it should be more focus on their legalities to before requiring participants to submit any valid proof in this we are near in having such a problem in the case that someone use our identity in doing illegal activities.

For myself, am seriously not in support of kyc for airdrops that holds less value but on the their hand, many persons create as many accounts to be able to participate in airdrops and that defeats the aim of the airdrop.

Even if the team has issued some strict rules, we can choose to refuse to participate. Of course, this is really a bad thing.

Personally, I would be careful not to send my personal information to anyone. Send data only to those projects that you really trust
