Levante - Celta Vigo : for this match I feel that the hosts have better chances to win especially when you see their manager Jemez made them stronger and at home alongside their fans they should not disappoint also the visitors Celta have a shaky defense and more likely to concede goals so I'm going for a home win for this match while for Athleco Bialbao against Huesca it's possible to see the visitors grab a draw since that Bilbao is not nearly as good as they used to be before and I doubt to see them finish anywhere close to top 6 this season.

Real's players must have bad memory after last year's defeat on this very stadium.
yeah, Girona looks like a scary team haha /s  Roll Eyes

Personally, I think this Real can't compete for title if it stays like this. Simply, they need a leader such as Ronaldo to play at top class.
Real Madrid has won many titles without Ronaldo, it's not like they suddenly became a tier 2 team because CR7 is gone. They will always be a main candidate to win everything, with or without Ronaldo. And tbh, Real Madrid doesn't neeed Ronaldo to play at the highest level, they have one of the best football squads in the world.

Yeah, you are right. They don't need Ronaldo to play at top class, but, in my opinion, they do need some kind of adition to their current squad. I don't know, maybe they manage to convince me that I am wrong, we will see.

Remember the panic people were having about Barcelona last season after they sold Neymar? Or Liverpool after they sold Coutinho? Both teams did really well without their key players. If not even better. I mean, actually Coutinho has made Barca's game different.

Unlike Messi and Ronaldo, Neymar nearly has smaller impact compared with the other two to their club. The only impression that I got from Neymar was his amazing diving and nothing more but Ronaldo was the key player that actually made Real Madrid won the champions league 3 times in a row . So it could be different for Real Madrid this season
yeah I don't think that Neymar was that even good that last season with Barcelona was the worst for him his only big moment was the comeback for Barcelona against PSG in CL other than that his performance was dreadful and I think that Bale stats were better then him that season despite that he didn't play that much now he is showing up his muscles against teams that doesn't worth what PSG paid for him alone. For Madrid it's possible for them to continue to play without Cristiano if Bale man up and takes his role but it will be much better if they brought a striker to help with goals I don't think that it's great to rely on Benzema alone.

Yes and actually he was good but not as nearly good as Ronaldo and Messi. He got few impact for the team but even without him on the team then Barcelona should be fine but it is a different story for Real Madrid.

It is never good to rely on one striker, that means you are pushing his stamina to play alot of match and risking him to be taken down by an injury, thats a worst thing that could happen to him

First real test for Real Madrid , playing without Ronaldo and outside the home field I am sure it will not be an easy game for Real this one. I think that Girona will try to play defensively in order to try and keep Real from scoring and probably will have their chances with counter attacks.

It will be a good game to see on TV and also a good one to bet on Girona +2 in handicap mode.

Tomorrow Girona hosts Real Madrid in one pretty interesting match. Real's players must have bad memory after last year's defeat on this very stadium.

Personally, I think this Real can't compete for title if it stays like this. Simply, they need a leader such as Ronaldo to play at top class. I really hope they will make some big purchase (such as Mbape or Hazard) till the transfer window ends.

Well, their main rivals won last night so yeah the pressure is on very early. Barcelona had a typical night, not really playing well but still managing to win 0-1 away with nothing exciting happening. Athletico's Griezmann seems to still be doing his normal stuff too also scoring the single goal to get their precious points.

All teams have their ups and downs and perhaps this is the beginning of a downturn for the Real Madrid empire. Lost two icons. But everything is still too early to day.

In the local league they could still have the chance if only they dont suffer from losing against small teams. It just matter of getting higher points in the league so they still have the chance but in the champions league against all those top team, they are not really getting any chance at all. This might be the season that Real Madrid dont win the champions league

How true was it that less than 50k people watched Real Madrid's game last weekend?  I guess Real has to get a replacement for Ronaldo quick.  Lol.

There are to names on top of my head that could be good replacements, Neymar and Hazard.
Low number of spectators wasn't caused by departure of Ronaldo. There was only 50k spectators in Barca match. Both matches started very late in evening, it ended 00:15 AM in local time when there are no public transport available, also both teams played against not most powerful opponents. This is why many people decided not to go to the match.
I don't think that Neymar would be great replacement for Ronaldo, but anyway, Real stated that they won't buy Neymar. It seems that Perez wont find replacement for Ronaldo until the end of this transfer window.

Well, according to the news sources I read, not only was this the record number of below 50k for many years, but the last time it was below 50k, was the season before Ronaldo joined Real Madrid too. I mean, sure, it's a bit of a coincidence for sure, and I know plenty of Real Madrid fans who actually never talked about Ronaldo himself and loved others much more.

But no please. They don't need Neymar or Hazard.

the lastest rumors suggest that Real Madrid is waiting on the punishment on PSG that will lead to them selling either Mbappe or Neymar and Since Mbappe is yet to be sold for PSG means that after 30th of this month the loans deal will end and the transfer will be official forcing the Parisian club to pay €180M and with both Italian and English leagues out of the picture for the purchase it leaves only Real Madrid capable of this transfer and that is only if the Uefa samctions this if they found out that PSG have failed in their financial fair play.

I just read this news it seems to me that Real Madrid never had any intention of swooping down for Hazard, back in their minds they only had Neymar. In a small world of football, this news would have been heard by Real Madrid representatives, and that's why they decided to allow Ronaldo to move on. I have a gut feeling which says, UEFA will penalise PSG and Neymar shall end up in Madrid, it'll be a master stroke, the only question is at what price will PSG agree to sell, and what happens of Bale being Real Madrids main man?

Barcelona will be happy but like you point out, it is the Champions League that they really want to beat Real in. Honestly, I thought Sevilla had a small chance, especially when they got the early goal, but as usual the champions find something inside them. No Messi goals but he did assist the winning goal, so you know he is hungry for success. No more Ronaldo, I feel the La Liga is less exciting now, but there are new stars to fill the space. Gareth Bale is all unchallenged as the "star" of Real Madrid.

I really want Athletico Madrid to push, but they gave everything last season and still couldn't really force Barcelona to sweat. Let us see however.

Indeed Barcelona are feeling the heat, you can sense their mood they want Champions League glory and signing of Vidal is a statement of Intent, it'll be interesting if they're able to sign Pogba.

Real Madrid cup defeat has already set the tone for them, without Ronaldo they no longer are a threat they once used to be, it'll be interesting if Bale finally stands up and guides his team to glory.

Yes Athletico Madrid failed last year, but remember now they got Costa too, he's had a full pre season and grizeman is staying so I would consider them serious title contenders.

Yes, Barcelona cannot feel satisfied simply by winning the domestic league and cup all the time,,, they must really be so thirsty for Champions League and Messi especially after doing so poorly in World Cup with Argentina he wants to give it all of his strength this season. But they cannot forever expect Messi to carry them so Vidal is a great addition but they need more.

Anyway yes, Real now are in decline. And Messi showed with 2 goals against a stubborn team, he still will be there to be feared. If you are right and Costa and Athletico make it, I will be happy too. Spanish league.

Today we have Celta Vigo against Espanyol and Villareal vs Sociedad both difficult games to predict. Seeing the games of yesterday where the teams played mostly defensively rather than playing openly it seems that they are interested more to get a point as a minimum than to fight for the three points and risk to get 0.

I will bet on both these games under 2.5 goals.
I usually do not like the under 2.5 goals bet, I feel it just too risky.  Red Cards can happen  and the bet will be lost.  The teams may just decide  play an open game. I think we are going  to see goals today.

They want it every year because as of now their current competitor is Real Madrid and Real Madrid has won it three times in a row. They will keep on falling into the shadow of Real Madrid if they dont do something about it. THis season will be a nice chance for them to get it because Ronaldo is not on Real Madrid anymore, a perfect time for them to triumph Real Madrid
