Barcelona will be happy but like you point out, it is the Champions League that they really want to beat Real in. Honestly, I thought Sevilla had a small chance, especially when they got the early goal, but as usual the champions find something inside them. No Messi goals but he did assist the winning goal, so you know he is hungry for success. No more Ronaldo, I feel the La Liga is less exciting now, but there are new stars to fill the space. Spanish football season started today - Supercup game was played, Barca won against Sevilla 2:1. Dembele had great match tonigh and scored amazing goal, I hope that this season will be much better than previous for him. Sevilla had chance to equalize score in 91th minute, but Ben Yedder made terrible penalty shot. It was first match in Spain where VAR was used, it will be also used in upcoming season.

I think that the purchase of Vidal by Barca is the right thing because until now no one has been able to replace the role of Iniesta and Xavi, even the La Masia academy has not found a replacement for Iniesta in the future, so Vidal is the main alternative for regulating attacks in midfield.

Although Madrid has been abandoned by Ronaldo, the club still has other star players who can score goals and rumors Garet Bale is required to defeat Ronaldo's popularity. Lopetegui will not be worried about his squad now because I think the current squad is enough to wade through La Liga next season only he needs to bring in new players to be able to coat the shortcomings of the current squad.

Looks like that Real Madrid have found their star that will be replacing Ronaldo the deal between the Spanish team and Chelsea have been agreed that sees their Belgian winger Hazard leaves Stamford Bridge for a record fee for Madrid that is €190m. Real Madrid are also keen on bringing Chelsea goalkeeper Courtois but the deal is now will include only Hazard it's going to be a though season for Chelsea as they lost one of their best players for the previous few years and about to lose two more Courtois as I mentioned before also Barcelona wants Willian.
