Teams at the level of Real Madrid really should get a trophy, so when they fail to get it they will be labeled as a failed team. Their failure last season was due to their lack of consistency, when many of their players were injured, Zidane insisted to fight in two competitions (La Liga and Champions League). Instead of getting the title, they failed in both competitions. In my opinion, if they only focus on one competition, then their chances of getting the title will be greater.

@abhiseshakana Zidane doesn’t have great man management skills, and that’s what forced Bale out of the club and had he worked with him then we would have seen a different result. Also partially I blame Hazard as he’s a liability at the club, and he’s done it again by reporting over weight at the club, and if Madrid want to win title now then they need to buy some quality player’s before the transfer window shuts.

I am not sure that the arrival of a single player, even such a talented and promising one as Mbappe, can immediately lead Real Madrid to the title. At least, neither the French national team became the European champion, nor Paris Saint-Germain was able to win the Champions League. There is much more hope that Ancelotti will be able to fit existing players, such as Hazard and Bale, in a much more effective way, building a more trusting relationship with them. It's no secret that, for example, Zidane and Bale did not have a human relationship.

Real Madrid have lost a skilled coach like Zidane. They have lost experienced defenders like Ramos and Varane. I don't think it will be profitable for them if they want to strengthen the forward without strengthening the defense. We saw Barcelona last season, despite strong forwards they could not perform well only due to weak defense.

In defense I'm sure Madrid have prepared it and so far there are several names who are ready to occupy the position David Alaba, Nacho Fernandez some players are still being targeted like Pau Torres. These players have almost the same abilities and capacities as Ramos and Varane.

Carlo Ancelotti can grow up player and discover a new position for them. He helped Pirlo to become one of greatest Italian players. Before the transfer to AC Milan, Pirlo got troubles to show his best skills under many coaches. Till the day Ancelotti put Pirlo into a new position in AC Milan.

Sounds like a good and logical deal for me. Chelsea gets an "upgrade" for the upcoming season and Sevilla still gets a very good defender and some money on top of it. Feel like this one will go trough.

Waiting to see how Barca saga ends, they really need to get rid of some high wages players to accommodate Messi new contract. Looking forward to see Pedri play this season, after great EURO performances and playing Olympic games he could be a bit tired at the beginning of the season but he is very young so should have a good recovery.

Considering if Atletico are willing to pay Griezmann at the normal price, then of course Griezmann will move but because Griezmann's salary is very high and Atletico are not willing to pay that salary, Griezmann's return to Atletico does not happen instead Griezmann is willing to cut his salary to stay at Barcelona.
