People seem to forget that Atletico is 6 points at the top of la liga with 2 unplayed games; which definitely means that Simeone and his team can go 12 points clear at the top. The odds are all on Atletico to keep up their good performances; and play for a draw anytime they are playing Madrid and Barcelona (Their biggest rival).

The opportunity for madrid remains but after seeing several Atletico matches in the champions league I predict an opportunity to be closer to Atletico Madrid. Until now Atletico madrid have not been beaten in La liga also conceded only 2 goals so far if these positive results continue until mid-season then their chances are even greater.

Laliga seems beseeched with lots of draw this Sunday with Deportivo Slaves 0-0 Real Sociedad
Villarreal 0-0 Elche
Granada 3-3 SD Huesca

These draws surely did some damage to my bets, I really never anticipated for it and just like that, Real Sociedad is down to 2nd place on the league table and so does there dropping farther down begins.

Yes, I've got to admit that this is the worst I've seen Barcelona at. Their results these days are nothing to write home about and they keep getting more unreliable with each passing day. In my opinion, their squad needs an upgrade. They sold a host of players during the last transfer window and didn't buy players of similar quality so their squad had a drop in quality. I've never been so disappointed with Barcelona the way I've been disappointed in them this season. After one too many upsets this season from them, I learned the hard way to exclude them from my bet slips. Contrary to popular opinions, I don't think the problem is with Koeman.

Madrid were luckier and a little better, both getting own goals this week Madrid won while Barca lost. Barca's defense was terrible, even though they controlled the game and created lots of chances. Too bad they couldn't score. Maybe this is the result of the tight schedule between UCL and LaLiga, so Barcelona is tired and not concentrating. Besides that, I heard that Ousmane Dembele also suffered a hamstring injury after defending Barcelona against Cadiz.

They did all they could to get at least 3 points after a sting of poor results, AFAIK Sevilla FC hasn't been an easy opponent to Real Madrid in the last few seasons. Barca on the other hand are 12 points away from the league leaders so yeah, the bashing is expected.

I think Barcelona need to build back how their young player and give minutes chance for Barcelona player academy because last ten season when Barcelona get threeble winner they have almost academy player than other player.

It will take a few more days for the Barcelona team to reach the top 5 of the point table. Because there have been some big changes in the Barcelona squad. Some of their forward and midfield players have been transferred. On the other hand maybe there are some problems within the team. The Barcelona coach is new. Koeman is a very experienced and skilled coach though. However, it takes some time to adjust to the team players.

Surely there's not anywhere bad the Barca team could further go, I don't think they have ever relegated for La Liga. But the problem on Barcelona is mostly from the management and the Players are not being able to perform because of the current tussle between players and management on different issues including financials. I'm mostly sad for the Messi and his future. Barcelona needs years to get on track.

It's still to early to say something like this.
Barcelona can still save this season but probably they probably have a better chance in CL than in La Liga.
They need new management, new coach and Xavi as soon as possible.
They depend to much on Messi and he can't do everything alone.
