This reflects how strong Barcelona are now, for Villarreal this is the first defeat in La Liga and especially this is a defeat at home, where these guys are very strong, but even they conceded 5 goals from Barcelona. It seems that Barcelona are doing great in La Liga, now they have to do the same thing a few times in the Champions League to get some points, although I have no doubt that for them to reach the playoffs will be an easy task, and the defeat to Monaco is an accident
undoubtedly Barcelona is one of the most strong team who just hold their legendary performance for long and continuely archived victory against most of their opponent team including a big victory against home team in most of the matches. Get defeated by Monaco was a sad part, although monaco defeated Barcelona in previous month, probably 13th august in Joan Gamper Trophy where Monaco get their 1st title of championship. Well afterwards Hansi Flick made some surprising changes what bring positive result for Barcelona when they started the match against Villarreal. Barcelona took some time to handle the situation while Villarreal showing their dominating performance from the beginning. Scoring 2 goals proved their ability in 1st half when opponent team scored 1 goal against them. Afterwards a halftime break, Barcelona cleared their heads and become active their dengerous mode against their oppennt team and scored 3 goals again, total 5 goals were placed when Villarreal was troubling to their 2nd one. With this performance Barcelona really impressed their fans and regain respect after manaco incident. Well in the next match against Getafe, Barcelona has possibility to surprise us as home team. Let's see

Barcelona big win had to take a toll where Ter Stegen was injured badly enough to make Hansi Flick have to think about finding the right goalkeeper. But so far Ter Stegen is irreplaceable and I don't expect Barcelona to have any problems in the future. According to rumours Ter Stegen absence will take up to 8-9 months so we'll see what steps Barcelona take to maintain his consistency in goal. I don't think Barcelona can rely on the reserve keeper forever, they need to buy a keeper who is qualified enough to be kept as the main squad. Barcelona schedule in the Champions League and La Liga increasingly requires full strength, not only in the front line but the goalkeeper is the most important core that should not be left empty without an experienced figure.
Losing Ter Stegen will certainly weaken Barcelona's strength, Flick must immediately respond to the incident quickly to maintain conduciveness in the team. So far Barcelona has been able to perform impressively in La Liga and was last able to cripple Villarreal with a fairly large score. However, I predict that if Ter Stegen has to be sidelined longer, Barca's strength will weaken and it is very possible for them to not be able to maintain their consistency so far.

Barcelona's 100% start to the season brought to a disappointing end last midweek after they traveled France to play against Monaco in their first UEFA Champions League game of the season and that brought many criticisms to the team. Some persons were of the opinion that despite Barcelona's previous results before the game, they do not have all it takes to win in big matches. In their response to the critics today, the Spanish La Liga league leaders delivered another scintillating performance against Villarreal to continue to their impressive performance in the league. My question now is should we consider Barcelona as a club that can only do well in the league and get beaten in European competitions?

against Monaco in the UCL it was very disappointing for some people who support Barcelona because it was the hope of Barcelona fans that Barcelona should be able to win that match. and indeed at that time I personally also predicted that Barcelona would win, but in fact Monaco was indeed strong and indeed Monaco. its strength cannot be underestimated.

Yes, now Barcelona in the Domestic League has shown extraordinary strength and what is certain is that against Villarreal it was clear that Hansi Flick's troops appeared full of confidence in that match and of course the score was 1-5 for Barcelona's victory. In my opinion, of course there is potential for Barcelona to be able to compete like in the UCL and others. and I am sure that in the next match Barcelona will definitely have great potential to perform even better. and I think Barceona will be able to compete fiercely in the domestic league, UCL and others.  because no matter what, in my opinion, Barcelona is still a strong team and will be able to compete closely in the UCL and others.

and I am sure that in Laliga and UCL Barcelona's performance will be good because I am sure that Hansi Flick will definitely try to correct the failures that have occurred and will continue to improve Barcelona's performance.

The slaughter mode was activated again after experiencing defeat in their last match at Monaco's headquarters in the opening match of the UCL, Villarreal who were undefeated in the previous 5 games had to admit Barcelona greatness. Interestingly, Flick played many players from the La Masia academy in this match, both starters and as substitutes, there were 10 La Masia players who were given the opportunity to play by the coach. I saw Barcelona doing something that was very rare in the Xavi era, the players kept attacking no matter how many goals had been scored. This strategy had a big impact on the opponent's mentality. Initially, Villarreal players played very disciplined and were very determined to attack, but their spirit immediately collapsed after seeing goal after goal coming into their goal.

Hansi Flick has always been able to find talent worthy of La Liga, even relying on players from La Masia managed to show solid cooperation and slaughter Villarreal. Overall this will continue to provide many positives for Barcelona, but the Champions League task must be addressed immediately. The loss to Monaco demands Barcelona to win their next game against Young Boys. There is no other option as there are 7 Champions League games remaining and Barcelona cannot afford to drop points for a second time.

On the records, Barcelona have scored 22 goals this season, having 16 goals coming from their three previous league games, Hansi Flick is doing a great job in Camp Nou this season. In his first season, he's unbeaten 6th game in La Liga fixtures and he's not holding back, ambitious about the bright future that lies ahead and accomplishing this dream, there ought to be extreme presence of hardwork, consistency when it comes to performance from the players, back to back. We're acquainted with the performance of Barcelona this season, they've been nothing but a formidable elite club in La Liga.

Barcelona comes to the UEFA Champions League, they suddenly turned ghost elite club. Unable to deliver their very best and this is not the first or second time, it's been like that under different managers. The big curious questions comes up, can Hansi Flick turn the hand of clock and start getting brilliant game outcomes in elite leagues and not just the domestic league. Barcelona will have to do more outside La Liga because everyone thinks they're incompetent to handle elite oppositions, taking someone on your own size is the main deal for elite competition.

Simeone continues to give Alvarez lots of chances to see his improvement. But unfortunately he couldn't make any impact on the game despite playing for the whole game. But he scored against Valencia previously so I hope he will get better slowly. I don't know maybe it is better to start with Griezmann instead while he is in a much better shape. Alvarez entered in the second half of the Valencia game and still scored in the end.

Julian Alvarez played quite well against Rayo Vallecano, he just didn't have much luck there. Besides, this was a game dominated by Rayo Vallecano, you can see that in the stats below.

From the data above, I think both teams deserve points, Rayo Vallecano as a team that has good statistics + playing at home & Atletico Madrid who is one of the strong teams in La Liga but playing away.

I cannot agree with you. Barcelona lost the first match of the Champions League unfortunately. I wouldn't say that Barcelona's performance was too bad even though they lost the match. If Garcia had not received the red card, the result of the match might have been different. But that was Barcelona's misfortune.

In the last match we saw a good performance from the Barcelona players again. Villarreal is one of the strongest clubs in La Liga this season. And the players of Barcelona have been able to perform well against the Villarreal club.

The performance of the Young Boys team has not been strong this season. Even Young Boys have won only one match out of 7 matches in the Swiss Super League. I don't think it will be possible for this team to resist Barcelona in this situation.
That's right, we can't just judge from one match but we have to look at all of Barcelona's matches at the beginning of this season.

The big win over Villarreal shows how strong Barcelona is this season, and it is undeniable that Barcelona continues to show positive progress in every match, apart from the defeat they experienced in the UCL match, I think the defeat is understandable because Barcelona played with 10 men when one of their players received a red card early in the match.

For the next UCL match against Young Boys I think the Barcelona team will have much greater motivation to win the match and the defeat in the first UCL match can also be a lesson.
With Barcelona's strength like now I think now no one doubts them anymore, they are really very strong this season.

Barcelona continues to extend their winning streak in the current league, of the 6 matches they have played have all been achieved with perfect victories thus making Barcelona, Madrid and Atletico unbeaten teams this season, Barcelona current performance actually silences all our previous doubts who thought that Barcelona was no longer great after all the problems that befell them.
Although Barcelona journey in the Champions League is not as good as in La Liga but the defeat to Monaco does not make their chances of qualifying for the round of 16 of the Champions League closed at the moment because they still have  7 teams as opponents  that may give them points later, I think for now Barcelona must focus on La Liga because it is very important for them to maintain consistency and also the mentality of winning in the current league rather than thinking about the match Both Champions Leagues which will be played in 3 weeks again.

I was surprised with seeing Atletico Madrid lose points last night. Actually they scored the equalizer quite early in the second half. But there was still no goal in the remaining half...  Sad

On the other hand, I don't think Young Boys will concede goals like this against Barcelona, they lost their first Champions League game to Aston Villa by three goals, so I don't think they will allow that to happen again. Barcelona can only score many goals in La Liga, but I don't think they can score six or seven goals in the Champions League, but they will be able to score at least two or three against Young Boys.

Glad to see Barcelona has bounced back from their loss at UCL. They beat Villareal by a great margin. Their high-line defence worked as intended in this game. It looks scary to see them use high-line defense. But, it helped them trap their opponents in an offside position.

It seems to me Hansiball always prioritizes their attack over defense. It can be seen from how they took the big risk playing highline defence. But this is not gonna work against a club who fully understand how to leave from the trap. And there's room for improvement in their defence.

Their great win against Villareal cost them Ter Stegen. He will likely be out till the end of the season due to his injury.
Barcelona's performance had no effect at all after suffering defeat in the UEFA Champions League to Monaco after being able to achieve a fairly landslide victory over Villareal in La Liga. Robert Lewandowski could almost have scored a hat trick if his penalty kick had not hit the crossbar and his performance was very impressive after being able to score a brace against Villareal.

Barcelona have paid most expensive for their victory over Villareal because their main goal keeper Marc-André ter Stegen have out on the second half match and potential will absent until the end of this season. Its very bad news for Barcelona because they have many important matches in La Liga and improving performance in Champion League if won't loss opportunity get qualifying to knock out round.

Unbelievable with Barcelona performance since managed by Hansi Flick, in La Liga have won 6 of 6 matches and most fantastic have scored 22 goals drastically difference with Real Madrid scored 13 goas of 6 matches although have conceded 5 goals. Most amazing start for Barcelona in this season not only success keep the winning trend but also always scoring above 3 to 4 goals on every matches.

Barcelona are the only team to have won consecutively this season and are four points ahead of defending champions Real Madrid. This victory was much needed after Barcelona lost 1-2 away to Monaco in the Champions League group stage.  Hansi Flick's side have played like true champions in the last six rounds of La Liga. With a 4-2-3-1 formation. The attack, with a harmonious combination of Lewandowski's experience, Raphinha's cunning, and Lamine Yamal's youth, continues to be the catalyst for Barcelona's rise. I believe that in the next two rounds, Barcelona has the opportunity to extend its winning streak when it meets weak opponents Getafe and Osasuna.

Ter Stegen has been constantly mentioned recently for his silly mistakes, causing his team to concede goals. After playing a role in Barcelona's Champions League defeat to Monaco, Ter Stegen continued to fail to keep a clean sheet as Villarreal's Ayoze Perez scored in the first half. Things got worse for the Barcelona captain when he suffered a serious injury, had to leave the field later, and faced the risk of being out for the rest of the season. Either way, this is a big loss for Barcelona for the rest of the season.

If they were down to 10 players in the Monaco match, they would probably have beaten Monaco. Barcelona Team is a goal machine. Lewandowski was going to make a treble today, but he could not convert the penalty kick into a goal in the 67th minute. He was nevertheless named player of the match.
It looks like Barça will have a high-scoring season compared to last year.
He could break the goalscoring record this season.
He will play against Young Boys at home on October 1st and I expect a lot of goals in this match. There will be at least 6-7 goals.

Barcelona is performing better than predicted this season, scoring 22 goals in 6 La Liga games, which was surprising, the team has transformed into a goal machine compared to last season. It's an excellent beginning for Hansi Flick as club manager, he remains undefeated in La Liga but was unlucky to lose for the first time in the Champions League against Monaco due to the red card. To be honest, I thought Barcelona was going to find it hard to secure all the points against Villarreal since they have not lost any of their games this season, and have drawn against Atletico Madrid. Barcelona's performance showed that they are capable of winning trophies this season, and I can't wait to watch their first El Clasico match.

I don't know what happened to Atletico Madrid today who failed to win the match against Rayo, previously Atletico Madrid always won when facing Rayo and even last season they beat Rayo convincingly with 7 goal and the last meeting also showed Atletico Madrid won with score of 2 - 1.
Several opportunities were actually obtained by Atletico Madrid but they failed to take advantage of all these opportunities into goal, previously they won over Bilbao and also Valencia until they added victory over Leipzig for UCL but today they couldn't maintain the victory.
I lost bet in multi-bet for the La Liga match, Bilbao has won and Barcelona is also the same as expected but Atletico Madrid made everything mess.

Both of these teams performed very well but the worst for me was Villarreal's failure to control the offside. If they could have controlled the offside, they would not have lost by such a margin, Villarreal had the hardest time in this match. Because even after scoring a few goals, the goals were disallowed only for offside, there was a slight offside like a little bit of a body part. However, Villarreal's players need to gain more experience in order not to make such mistakes in the attacking department, where these small mistakes have led to serious risks.
Because the gamblers who bet on the draw and Villarreal team undoubtedly lost and suffered losses, I thank the Barcelona team players because their offsides were minimal and the goalkeeper's weakness allowed them to score the most goals.

In the first 20 minutes of this match we saw the dominance of Villarreal players. The team played well at the beginning of the match. But then the Barcelona team started to take control of the match. Barcelona scored the first goal in the 20th minute. Lelandowski scored from a wonderful pass by Pablo Torre. And within 35 minutes, Barcelona managed to take a 2-0 lead. However, at the end of the first half, Barcelona was leading 2-1. Both teams played well in the first half and the match was exciting.

But Hansi FLick changed the entire scenario of the match in the second half. I would say Hansi FLick's excellent match strategy is why Barcelona managed to beat Villarreal by a big margin in this match. In the second half we only saw Barcelona's dominance. Raphinha managed to score two goals. Barcelona would have won 6-1 had Lewandowski not missed a penalty in the second half. Yamal could not score a single goal in this match. However, Yamal's presence was noticeable throughout the match.

Girona has poor start this season and this weekend they were received 3rd loses during this season from Valencia and this result is makes them only can occupy 12th place on League standing because Girona only can collect 7 points from 5 matches in Laliga and this very different if we compared to their performance for last season because on season 2023/2024 at the beginning of season Girona can occupy first place

Actually if we see from Girona transfer lists they didn't losing many players this summer even Girona has very active to bought the players to strengthen their squad but seems the new players still unable to adapt well and this makes Girona still unable to in form this season and if i am not mistaken this thursday Girona will facing Rayo at their home and they should be utilize this match to bounce back and return to the winning ways

Villarreal's inability to stay onside was a key factor in their loss. The players definitely need more training in that aspect to avoid costly errors in future games. As you said, these small mistakes can lead to serious consequences, as was evident in this match.

Regarding the performance of Barcelona, their minimal offsides indeed played a significant role in securing a lead. Also, exploiting the goalkeeper's weakness added to their advantage. Bettors who had wagered on Villarreal or a draw indeed had to face a loss due to these outcomes.

In football, even the slightest of margins can have a significant impact, and both teams' results were a perfect illustration of this truth.

Barca's form this season is something else, they have been consistent this season judging from their results so far,and the reason they stand first on the table is solely because they don't want to drop any point at the moment, and looking at Real Madrid coming from behind them,it makes them want to always try to remain consistent in their effort.
Champions league comes again next week, and I am very sure they would want to get three points from it since they lost their first leg to Monaco,so three points for any staker on that one.
In La Liga Barcelona have indeed improved from last season, but to say they are quite consistent seems a bit inappropriate because Barcelona have only played six matches this season even though all of those matches have been won by Barcelona in La Liga. As for the next match in the Champions League this season, Barcelona will not meet Monaco again directly because this season the Champions League has been running with a new format so in the next match Barcelona will host Young Boys at the Estadio Olimpico Lluis Companys in the hope of winning in that match because Young Boys are not a very competitive team this season.
