I think its safe to say that Barcelona is prepared to fight for the La Liga title this season. For many years now, I have not see Barcelona this determined and courageous. They are meticulous in all their matches and are not ready to miss any point. Their clean kne goal to five winning of Villareal is a confirmation of the fact that Barcelona is a team to watch this season. I will be seriously surprised if they fail to win the title this season.

Barcelona continues the positive trend with quite good statistics. Their goal productivity is quite high, Lewandowski leads the list of top scorers in La Liga with 6 goals, while Yamal is recorded as the most assist contributor.
Villarreal suffered their first defeat this season, and they could not do much to make Barcelona stumble in collecting full points, despite acting as the host. When Villarreal managed to hold Atletico to a draw in the first week, there is hope to force Hansi Flick squad to a draw, but Barcelona was not an equal opponent for them.
The additional three points strengthen Barcelona position at the top of the standings, while Villarreal position is now potentially being displaced by Atletico. Hansi Flick, who was previously thought to have difficulty getting his team to perform consistently due to budget constraints, is now performing impressively by relying on a number of young players such as Yamal.
So, is this the season where Barcelona will win the title instead of Real Madrid?
Of course the answer depends on how you view Barcelona's performance so far. It's still early to predict now, but Barcelona have already collected 18 points from 6 games and they have been excellent with all their shortcomings. Many players are still injured, but Barcelona have been very good so far.

The victory over Villarreal came at a high price for Barcelona, of course because their number one goalkeeper got injured in this match. Ter Steigen had to be stretchered off because he fell wrongly while anticipating the ball in the air, so he had to get treatment which I hope is not serious. Barcelona will likely maintain this winning streak for longer, maybe until the next 4 matches against Getafe, Osasuna, Alaves and Sevilla.

If they were down to 10 players in the Monaco match, they would probably have beaten Monaco. Barcelona Team is a goal machine. Lewandowski was going to make a treble today, but he could not convert the penalty kick into a goal in the 67th minute. He was nevertheless named player of the match.
It looks like Barça will have a high-scoring season compared to last year.
He could break the goalscoring record this season.
He will play against Young Boys at home on October 1st and I expect a lot of goals in this match. There will be at least 6-7 goals.

If they were not 10 men* kindly edit. FC Barcelona were playing very well in the champions League competition game against Monaco but when they were reduced to a 10 men their performance changed and Monaco utilize the advantage to keep on pushing attacks and asking questions until they got the second goal that sealed the victory for them.

Barcelona won with a multiple goals scored against Villarreal, their hit man Robert Lewandoski got a brace but failed to covert a penalty kick that would have seen him hitting a hat trick in the game. 1:5 win for FC Barcelona sees team remain unbeaten in the league after 5 matches, they are league leaders and they are playing better with a lot of goals they have scored so far in the league, they have the opportunity of becoming champions if they keep getting better.
I think Barcelona really tried to fight back but the early red card booking really hindered them from winning or getting a point in that game, even while they were 1 man down they still managed to equalize Monaco's goal to show that their was still a fight in them bit then, i think they didn't see the booking coming to early and it really hindered their game, if it happened thar Barca were ahead and got booked, I believe they would've win or draw. However, I like how Hansi Flick advised his players after the game, he knew such defeat could reduce reduce their confidence level and kill the current winning mentality but he told them to keep fighting and I believe thar helped ginger their morale in the game against Villarreal. Lewandowski and Rafinha were on fire today, I hope they keep up with such goal scoring mentality, I expected a goal from Yamal but today wasn't his day. Atletico Madrid's match is currently ongoing, they were down by a goal in the 1st half but Conor Gallagher just equalized, making it his 2nd goal for Atletico Madrid.

Real Madrid definitely got a great win again, they are on a roll and doing very well, I think whatever was missing from the team at the start of the season, they are getting better. Jude is back as well, which is awesome for them and I am sure that they are going to end up with a great contribution from him as well. They are playing some young kids like Guler and Endrick as well at times and getting some decent contributions from them too, so I am assuming that we are going to see this team changing on the long run, and will be a great situation for Real Madrid.

Barcelona on the other hand failed to win against Monaco, if they end up doing the same thing at La Liga, they may actually lose their advantage over Real Madrid and put themselves at risk.

Real Madrid played really well, I can't say that I like their style of play this season. But they were very good in yesterday's match. They used more than 30 shots, played a very dominant game and managed to win the match 4-1.
On the other hand, Barcelona managed to beat their opponent by 5 goals. We are still watching one of the teams that has had one of its best seasons so far, Real Madrid will have a hard time Smiley
Real Madrid are not yet in their best form, personally i think it is taking them now a lot of time to cope and perform brilliantly with their squad list, it should be an easy task for them delivering an Over 1.5 placing over their opponents. So bad they are still most times struggling to get a goal or at most get the winning goal. 6 matches already played in the La Liga with Madrid in the second position, now will be the perfect time to ignite to compete intensively with Barcelona because the Barcelona as a team i see now is not ready to drop points for any team or do we even get to talk about the  goal difference they kept as distance from every team.

Barcelona are headed towards winning the La Liga this season and the odds are most likely favoring them, being strongly on this position is quite the encouragement they need to maintain till the final league day.

Today's game was absolutely brilliant and stunning for Barcelona, Hansi Flick knows the best measures for the club and he never relents from exerting actions. There's something to observed about Barcelona this season? They're unable to exert epic performance and results in the UEFA Champions League but when it comes to the domestic league, La Liga, they're well known for their incredible game results and not giving up. What word to express the outstanding form of Barcelona this season? They're elite club that's focused on bringing in amazing performance and titles this season.

Barcelona players are experienced and vibrant towards their oppositions, always bringing up outstanding performance and the results are well worthy. Robert Lewandowski is a top striker for Barcelona, despite his aging style, he's proactive towards goal scoring, the same thing goes to other players in the club, we should patiently watch what Hansi Flick and the players are cooking this season in the La Liga campaign.

A very funny and very silly performance by Villarreal when facing Barcelona. Villarreal had a lot of opportunities but it seems that even though they were playing at home, the mentality of the Villarreal players decreased when they were continuously pressured by Barcelona. We can count how many times Villarreal wasted a very good opportunity and was only able to provide 1 score resistance.
It is no wonder that Barcelona scored a big score because Hansi Flick has a good strategy that is able to rotate players very perfectly. Almost all Barcelona players were able to perform optimally and I have to give praise to all Barcelona defenders who made a very good contribution.
It seems that this will be a big problem for Madrid to pursue the La Liga title.

I don't know why anyone could think Barcelona changed just because they lost to Monaco, they got a red card in the first quarter hour on the stupidest mistake ever, that thing I refuse to even imagine what was going in what the goalkeeper and Gracia's heads and then 5 minutes later a goal which despite execution would still count as lucky, common, again, goalkeeper clueless.

Anyone betting on the outcome without that, I doubt Monaco would have held to that 2:1 even if Barcelona would have got the 11 player fo just 30 minutes more in the second half.

Now, that aside, for the La Liga, Barcelona is like a gambler mine right now

Betting $100 each time would have rendered you a profit of $400 on what were for the last three rounds of matches with no single moment of anxiety.

On the other hand, Barcelona's failure in the UCL was purely the goalkeeper's fault which made Barca have to play with 10 men in the first half, and now they are paying for that mistake with a landslide score of 4-1 over Villarreal which is currently taking place in the La Liga competition. Lewandowski really became a goal machine in this match.
This was a difficult match for Villarreal, of course it was very difficult to stem Barcelona's excellent performance in building attacks. Villarreal scored several goals throughout the match, but they were unlucky because Barcelona's offside trap managed to thwart them. Barcelona won this match with a final score of 1-5, it's really hard to believe that Barcelona has been so productive this season.

Barcelona have won 6 of 6 La Liga matches so far, they are the most productive team with 22 goals recorded in 6 matches. I didn't believe this, but it's the reality I have to admit now. Lamine Yamal has really troubled his opponent's defense this season, even in this match he was still able to record assists for his teammates. The performance of this young Barcelona star has really improved, he is good and has great potential to become a big star in La Liga in a few seasons.

After playing in the Champions League group stage against Monaco, despite losing in that match. in La Liga Barcelona again showed its positive trend by winning full points in week 6. in this match, the squad coached by Hansi Flick appeared superior when competing with Villarreal. Villareal who had previously not experienced defeat, had to submit to Barcelona with a landslide score. Lewandowski and his colleagues immediately appeared pressing and full of confidence, they opened the advantage in the 20th minute. Lewandowski showed his class in this match by scoring two goals, he performed quite well at his age which is no longer young. the system implemented by Fansi Flick ran smoothly as he expected, Barcelona appeared to press fully within 90 minutes. Raphinha also contributed by scoring two goals, one goal was scored by Pablo Torre. well, under the guidance of Hansi Flick Barcelona developed rapidly even though he also involved young players who did not have much experience. unfortunately, once again Eric Garcia played below standard, especially in the first half. but almost overall Barcelona still played by maximizing their performance. next, for the next two matches Barcelona should not experience any obstacles theoretically before they play their match against Young Boys in the Champions League. with this result, Barcelona still maintains the distance in points with its rivals and remains at the top of the standings for the time being.

Espanyol must be regretful for scoring that goal first.  Tongue  That was the thing to fire up Real Madrid players to win by a big score like 4-1. By the way I think the last penalty call was just ridiculous. The defender started to pull Endrick from the shirt way before and even Endrick started to fall outside of the penalty area. What is this nonsense decision?  Huh

Yeah maybe Real Madrid were still going to be the winner most probably. But I just want to underline the importance of referee decisions. Even in VAR's existence this kind of huge mistakes are still made, such a disgrace...
Doesn't make sense? Okay let's cut it to 3-1 and still win, right? Regardless of the foul or not, Espanyol defenders should have been more careful when marking their opponents near the penalty box, because the long whistle can make it all difficult to accept. They were under pressure and didn't realize that even the slightest mistake could be fatal if not controlled. Espanyol lost and they deserved it, Madrid still won without the need for an additional goal from a penalty. Every match there is always a controversial policy even though there is VAR, you must have seen that often and I think Espanyol have accepted their defeat.
And yes even though it was a controversial penalty but this player was too blatant in pulling the shirt which was very stupid to be seen, and I also think that it shouldn't have been a penalty but it was a reward for committing a foul close to the penalty city, if you look at the foot that fell of course it doesn't make sense if it's a penalty but if you take into account Edrick's body, the referee might defend himself with it.
After all, Espanyol lost badly to Real Madrid, the second half was a disaster for Espanyol after Ancelotti saw a blind spot in Espanyol's defense.

Barcelona scored a goal against Villarreal. Barcelona, who managed to win 5-1 away from home, managed to maintain their lead by making 6 out of 6. Lewandowski scored 2 goals and converted 1 penalty and Rapinha scored 2 goals in the match.
In the last match of the day, Vallecano hosts Atletico Madrid at home. Even though Atletico Madrid are the favorites, I think it's a tough away game and Vallecano might get a draw.

Firstly from the what I watched I think the ball was out at the corner kick area before endrick progress to the goal box area and the player did indicated /notify that but I think it was overlooked or maybe I didn't see it very well Grin. After that scenario, was when one of Espanyol defender tried to stop him(endrick) probably from what happened or let's just say he only tried to stop him, the pulling and release happened before the line and it was obvious that it wasn't suppose to be a penalty... they won already either with penalty or not but its totally sucks Tongue to see that.

I think that was not the point, that point was that Real Madrid wasn't delivering the same way every Real Madrid was expecting them to deliver. They have signed the seemingly best striker in the world. But Mbappe can't score, he can't. Now people start wondering why Ronaldo scored all the time and he doesn't. He took almost a billon dollars from PSG management, isn't it his duty to pay back?
Maybe this is Real Madrid's biggest ambition in bringing Mbappe to their squad, and indeed in terms of tactics and role Mbappe does not fit Ancelotti's playing pattern, this is what Real Madrid and of course Ancelotti must pay attention to in placing Mbappe in a position that suits his position so that he is able to score goals in important matches, hopefully Ancelotti can find a more ideal formation for his expensive player.

Real Madrid's performance continues to improve, slowly they are starting to find the pattern of play that Ancelotti wants. Jude's return makes Madrid's attack line very solid. He played a big role in yesterday's match. Regardless of the controversy over the penalty given by the referee, Ancelotti's squad will still win this match. Spain was powerless to withstand the attacks launched by El Real, and if Madrid continues to be consistent like this in the future, it is not impossible that they will overtake Barcelona in the standings.

Real madrid do well against Espanyol and they deserve to win the match, the game as not even reach 60 minutes they just win madrid one goal and started defending stronger that is why madrid have more opportunities and win many goals in the match, I see without vin Jr real madrid can't win math because since from the first half madrid didn't get chance of winning, is when Ancelotti substitute Guler and put vini Jr that is when the game change and give one assist and score goals what a great player for Madrid and am sure he will won the Ballon d'Or next month because he as done everything for Real madrid he won the league and even champion league, Barcelona are leading against Villarreal 2-1 first half so Barcelona will do anything do not lose the game tonight because they have not lose any match in the league they will do anything possible to secure the league and continuing topping the league table.
