Imagine how would one feel if they caught the virus because they were too stupid to go the casino and got infected from there.

So far as people are observing and practicing the necessary protocols and precautions, there is no way he/she is gonna caught the virus.  According to the world health organization, this virus is now gonna live with us and the best possible  way to avoid being affected is by practicing the lay down protective measures and precautions.  Even if you stay in your room or house without practicing the set up precautions by WHO, you are more at risk of being affected by the virus as compared  to someone at the casino practicing the precautions.

I agree. Even though the aim of reopening the casinos in Las Vegas is to lessen the rate of unemployment that the US have all due because of this pandemic, still it is premature to open up casinos that would attract a big crowd of gamblers that have been waiting to play gambling for a long time now ever since the lockdown have started to prevent the spread of virus.

The opening of a casino in Las Vegas is a landmark event that, in addition to what you have named, can show that the US authorities are not afraid of additional threats from the coronavirus and they understand the significance of the fact that this city lives largely thanks to tourists and gamblers.

I am terrible at Fantasy Football!!!
As @deisik said, the government already did their job and it all lies to the people whether they care about themselves or they just wanted do do what they want. The fact that we are seeing the cases increasing means people won't stop gambling and maybe they think this is how they will help with the economy.
When it comes to something as massive as this pandemic a government, no matter how strong it is, cannot do everything, it is the people that can lower down the effects of the pandemic, we cannot be in quarantine anymore and we need to get out, the problem is that many people including those that go to casinos do not take the right precautions and this is why we are seeing such a spike in the number of contagions, as time passes it seems we are headed to community immunity as the spread of the virus is increasing dramatically no matter what we do.

As you know, the Governor of Nevada made the decision to close schools and non-essential businesses. These measures include hotels and casinos to prevent the spread of the virus to the population.

I can see that the USA is containing the virus in its own way which sadly have not been successful. The population has not feared the virus and is the reason for the increase in new cases every day.

Other nations of the world have implemented how to build or adapt a hospital for people with Covid19 and cure them. But this decision was made on time or at least before it was too late.

In this most recent article I found about Las Vegas Open Businesses: Resort and Restaurant, reservations are required.

Take a look at the current picture.

Viruses are not bacteria

And as I'm inclined to think, they can be killed with ultraviolet and ozone. That's essentially one of the reasons why open places with a lot of sunshine are relatively safe. Regardless, this is a kind of field hospital where everyone is considered infected. They could run tests before admission, and even if some people free of coronavirus get admitted by mistake, this won't make things particularly worse than they would be without these hospitals

I am not that knowledgeable about this, but as far as I know both ultraviolet and ozone are harmful to the human body

Ozone is just another form of oxygen

It is less stable and disintegrates into a more stable form (with which we breathe) and atomic oxygen, which is highly reactive. It is the latter that kills small viruses and other pathogens. Ultraviolet does the same, and that's why direct exposure to sunlight also kills microorganisms. But you should be exposed to sunlight all the time. Indeed, no one is going to use ultraviolet on people but it will be enough to sterilize the air and open surfaces when no one is present

I’m UK based but I’m glad, we need to start getting back to normal soon. This pandemic has claimed lives but really it’s a tiny, tiny % of the numbers that get infected. We can’t hide away at home forever, economies are collapsing, unemployment numbers are increasing. We need to get back to some kind of normality.

It's a mistake opening prematurely without a vaccine been develop it's really bad for businesses to open right now especially the current number of infected in the US is more than 4 million. Yes it might be the solution for being jobless and financial crisis but in exchange they will endanger so many lives.
The only answer for all of this?Vaccine must be develop mate because look at what happen now, after the New Normal?
the infection is  growing and growing more.

How does  this will end?that is if the government  continues or bring back the General Community Quarantine.
Government is trying to bring back cash flow into their economy back, yes there is no doubt in the infection is getting more worse but government does care about their economy's growth so they are decided to cost few thousand people's life which may hurt but that's the bitter truth behind governments actions.

Now that US is still on top of the countries with the most cases of infected individuals, it may seems to sound irrelevant to open up big business establishments like casinos for crowd will surely get into it and the months of community quarantine will turn out to be useless because many people might get infected once they get to play into an open space where public gets together.

The first thing that must be resolved as for now is the increasing number of the infected individuals before focusing on the re-opening of casinos. But if the government will allow such thing to happen to be able to get workers have their jobs back and to lessen the number of unemployed individuals, casino owners must establish a strict rules and regulations following health protocols to avoid the spread of virus. If that will be implemented, then maybe it could be possible to work things out on reopening the casinos for the sake of the people to get their works back and for the gamblers just assure that they will keep themselves safe away from getting infected and spreading the virus.

I would agree, because even now the Director general of the World Health Organization (Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus) looks like he is clueless about the pandemic. He caused a lot of damage during the initial months, as a result of his irresponsible statements. First he claimed that there is a low chance of the virus spreading from one human to another. Then he said that wearing of masks is not necessary. So Trump is perfectly justified in what he did.

In addition, it is important to remember who supplied the Ebola vaccine to African countries a few years ago and how the who functionaries were indifferent.
Perhaps it was because of this indifference that the coronavirus was able to spread to the entire planet. If the threat had been announced earlier, many countries would have had time to close their borders.

I have to agree here. The WHO initially downplayed the contagious nature of this virus, especially regarding the airborne transmission and human-to-human transmission. If they had issued the proper warnings initially, then the other nations could have banned incoming travelers from China, or at least could have set up fail-proof quarantine for such individuals.

The fact of the matter is that many people understand it. Now that the epidemic has subsided a little and many leaders of countries are beginning to understand that WHO has not coped with its functions. If air traffic to China had been stopped much earlier, it might not have been necessary to stop sports matches, close Las Vegas casinos, and many fewer people would have died.

Trump stopped funding this organization because it showed its helplessness in the fight against global pandemics. WHO functionaries fly business class, stay in the most expensive hotels, spend a lot of money on business trips, but the benefits of them are very, very small.

I would agree, because even now the Director general of the World Health Organization (Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus) looks like he is clueless about the pandemic.

Still unaware of possible treatment, as a director he should have ideas that will help every sides of the world in preventing this virus to spread more.

This particular problem that caused many countries to lay down their guard and let the virus to keep spreading and hitting their citizens, if lockdown was been made much earlier and mass testing has been performed, the damage might be much lesser.

No one is actually stopping people from going to casino since the government have already said they are exempted but to curb the spread of the virus i dont anything bad in treating an adult thats yet to be mature as little children and i believe this was what the Chinese government didnt do then.

The government said that people can go to Las Vegas for the purpose of visiting casinos, but the society immediately began to condemn these on forums and in various media . Players began to be called almost the most important distributors of the disease.

No wonder you dont understand there purpose that why you underrated their power. Trump stop funding because they are not open up with their investigation about the cause of the COVID 19 and how the Chinese government dont curb the spread till it a global disease but i guess thats because they have their own rule and regulations to follow.

This was bound to happen because as such gambling does not come under necessity and when the cases are spreading so it is necessary to stay away and be safe at home. Though government encourages because they get revenue once the casinos get open. Though the economy and the people all are affected with this pandemic and now with the US stop funding WHO will need to see how does WHO reacts to it.

With such open space, how do they plan to separate those who might be ill, from those who is ill and in serious condition? They all breath in one area. Even with up-to-date air cleaning system, some bacterias will move freely in the whole are.

I don't get this since all of the patients that will be lying here are Covid-19 cases. Obviously, they have their safety measures there. The bacteria they are only thinking there is covid and I think they have their procedures fighting them. I don't know but it seems that you are belittling these health workers whose knowledge about the virus might be much better than you.

he thinks that this place is a kind of evacuation center and not all that are going to rest here have covid  but no it isnt but its stated earlier that its a hospital like  .

there are bacteria's and deadly diseases other than covid that are present but the health workers will only insist that the cause is covid because they want it to be  on the mainstream  . till now there are no signs that pandemic era is ending soon  so we need to continue what we already started   .

I have heard about ultraviolet rays being used to sterilize rooms or even entire buildings, but usually that is done when no one is inside. And I don't know whether sunshine is having any detrimental effect on COVID 19. If that was the case, then the situation in Florida could have been much better.
