The quickest way for me to lessen gaming was to get free out of debt. I had around more than $1000 worth of debt and whatever I earnt went to pay those loans and I always felt bad as it was pretty much I'm working and not getting paid :/ so I resorted to gambling again to pay those off only to drown more in debt. But once I consistently paid them all, it was all calm and I didn't gamble as often then
It's not a good idea to go in gambling because in gamble you need luck what if you don't have any luck once you gamble? I think you gonna lose your money then you want to try again to get bact your loses. Maybe the best way for to pay those dept earn money bit by bit so that you can pay it little by little until finish it.
His solution to his problem is quite too risky, I won't say that he will not succeed but chances are very low when it comes to gambling, in fact it's not even advisable to borrow money to gamble, so how much on his aim that he will gamble to pay his debts, well, let's see if he will find success but I am pretty sure majority of gamblers would not agree with that idea.
Fun fact, you don't have to gamble just cover up your debt. You have to put an extra work in everything, so you could cover up your debt, and escape the harsh reality you have right now, man. I know, life's unfair, but that doesn't mean you have to risk your thing here in gambling, you'll have it worse. There are still plenty options out there, you might not discovering it out yet. Gambling wouldn't bring money to you as you think it would supposed, you know what's worse than this? Is that you'll just making your debt more bigger though, your resolve is kind of weak, IMO.
Try to re-think again, and re-consider these advice at the top. Wish you luck!
In short, it is the player's sole decision if he really wanted to stop gambling or not. It is the determination of implementing self-discipline to end his own gambling addiction to the betterment of his life. And that I think is the one lacking on OP's list.
But in reality some gamble addict needs support from other people or from experts so that they can handle and cure their addiction. Not everyone can do it by themselves some addict become more stressful and commit such crimes that can make the situation worse. But if they have someone to lean on they can actually change themselves step by step.
I believe so too. However, it would work if such person would at least take someone's advice though. Lending a hand to someone isn't helpful if they will just disregard somebody who are supporting them thoroughly. Thus, I believe with this man's statement:
Equally important is the presence of willpower! If you have willpower, then you will surely cope with addiction and stop playing! And of course, family support matters too!
And in the future it will be necessary to stay further from gaming sites!
