Carl, aka Sonny :)
My new Lee hosted AntMiner S5 has been up and running for about 3 days now and it's hashing within specs.  I am really glad I took a chance on this; now I know I have an alternative to the noisy fans, the constant struggle to keep them cool, and the per unit hosting fees are about 23 cents a day cheaper than my actual per unit S5 electrical costs.  I'm thinking it's time to sell all of my S5's/PSU's and convert them over to Lee hosted machines.  His prices are cheaper than buying directly from Bitmain so it's a no-brainer for me.

Thanks to all that vouched for Lee, it would have been hard to take this leap without the input from all of you in this thread.

Well, it's official…I have sold all of the S5s I had running in my garage and converted them over to Lee Group hosted miners.  I now have 10 S5's up and running (soon to be 11) and it has been a smooth transition.  I was a little surprised at how easy (and profitable) it was to sell my existing equipment but I guess there is a huge demand with Bitmain being completely out of stock for so long now.  I was able to cover my Lee Group purchases and have some left over for some hosting fees.  I'm also very relieved that I don’t have to face the higher temperatures of spring and summer that is just around the corner. I am just not able to keep that many miners cool, even on a mild day.  I was thinking of adding electrical service and air conditioning to an outdoor shed but the expense and extra daily electricity use just wasn’t logical or practical.

I would like to thank Lee and his staff for the top notch, professional manner in which they run their business.  I'm still amazed at how quickly they get things done sometimes.  My hat's off to you guys!

Lee are you still selling antminer s5s and stuff?

It's $340 for a Antminer S5 and the other costs are $1.416 a day and you will pay that on the 20th of the month and first time you order is 340 + the fee until the 20th of that month...

thank you! Smiley

if we wanted to cease hosting and wanted you to ship the miners to US how much would that cost approximately?
the price depend on the express company you chose
it will be around 60$ with ups
you can check it on bitmain website
the shipment fee i sent is a little expensive than they do, since they have big order discount with express company

My newest miner seems to be running on half of its ASIC banks now. Don't these machines normally start beeping when that happens?

I sent an email since I didn't see you online.

As for the pool changes...was that a request to get some sort of proxy to each machines login? That could be a security risk for them, but that would be amazing.

canot remember that you have miner in our data center, are you login use different forum id

it will be very risky to open remote control of the miner,we do that last year and got hacked, it is a disaster to restore more than 1000 unit miner to initial setting.  also it is not very useful, based on my experience, the earning donot have big different on different pool for sha256 miner,  if you really want to change the pool, just send me a mail or PM and i will do for you.

here is another solution, set up your miner to miningrigrentals then you can switch the hashrate by changing back up pool. but you may lose some hashrate since your miner need to connect to miningrigrentals first then switch to the real pool you want to put hashrate in.

I have a feeling I need more s-5's sending you a pm lee.

I sent a pm for one more.

Question I will be up to 4 machines with this one.

Will you be setting up access for pool changes?

Thanks Phil

not sure how to input credentials for more than one machine order as the form has only info for one machine.
do you fill one google doc for each machine? I hope not as this would be quite tedious
thanks

I did 1 at a time via pm.  I asked for paypal invoices  which he emails to me.

I do not mind paying the paypal fee to him of 4% as paypal has a standing 2% rebate .

So a 340 miner with  4% fees  cost me 346.80 net not 353.60.  I get 60 days of paypal protection this way. I always did business this way.  So far this year and last year I did more then 4000 usd in business with him.

If I buy one machine with $340 will I earn my money back with 4 months?

you put in 340 + 168 to host for 4 months = 508

 maybe yes
 maybe no

Hard to tell

we do not know diff growth rate or btc price

you still own the machine after 4 months

at 5% growth and 280 usd price in 4 months you are -170 usd

at 5% growth  and 350 usd price in 4 months you are -98

at 5% growth and 400  usd price in 4 months you are  -39

at 3% growth   and 280 usd price in 4 months you are -150

at 3% growth and 350 usd price in 4 months you are  -61

at 3% growth and 400 usd price in 4 months you are   +2 dollars

So some say buy a coin do not buy these.  I do both.  I buy coins and I have 4 of these
