Yes, every now and then I take a break and then return to where it is good :)I know that he had declared that he no longer wanted to continue his career as a coach but this was before the call from Roma arrived. He is deeply in love with his Roma and has always expressed it without censorship, I hope he can continue a few more years to lead Roma, because since he has been sitting on that bench the results for Roma have arrived

Honestly, i see Roma with a negative outlook
this team, as happened with Napoli, was destroyed by the management so if they want to look for a culprit they have to look in the mirror!!
It is not possible for a team that reaches the final of the Europa League twice to be reduced in this way if not for gross management errors
not as a coach the problem

Ranieri's contract will also end this season and thus, Ranieri could truly retire considering his very old age of 73 years. Thus, it would be a very right decision if Ranieri truly decided to retire, because at his very old age I think it is not right for Ranieri to continue his coaching career because of the high pressure and demands he faces. AS Roma still has enough time, of course to start the new season later with new management and a new coach as well. I also hope that AS Roma can truly recover to become a team that competes strongly in the fight for the scudetto.

Exactly, let's consider that the great Ranieri has his own age and that for many reasons he cannot continue to coach..
One above all is tiredness and less clarity due to age.
From what i had read, he said he was available to ferry to Roma at the end of the season but nothing more.
I think he's going to retire.

I think it is still too early to say that Juventus will have a hard time winning trophies this season, let alone qualifying for the Champions League next season because the chances are still wide open. Although so far Juventus is in fifth place and 13 points behind Napoli in first place, there are still many matches and anything can happen in the future. Therefore, what Juventus needs to do is to continue to collect as many points as possible while hoping that other teams lose a lot of points so that Juventus has a chance to win the title this season and qualify for the Champions League next season.

I think I agree that Juventus will have a hard time winning trophies. Before the start of the season, I saw them as a team that will challenge for the league but they've failed to do that and I don't see any trophy they can win so far.
The Coppa Italia is the only trophy where they stand a chance and there are still teams like Atalanta, Milan and Inter in the tournament which will make things difficult for Juventus.
The major problem Juventus have is that they cant score goals. You can win trophies if you cant score goals. A 3-2 win is better than a 0-0 draw. Theres no point in having a good defence yet not being able to score goals and wi games. They haven't lost a league game this season yet they're 5th on the table. That shows how many draws they get.
It's not too early to conclude, were in the second half of the season which is a pretty long way.

In my opinion, Juventus just needs to find the best layout on the pitch based on the starting players, I've seen a couple of the Bianconeri's matches and I can say with almost certainty that their problem is bad luck, it's true that they defend well but they also know how to attack well but they don't have an expert finisher who can score many goals, Vlahovic has so far proven to be a good attacker but not a top player for the price paid. perhaps by signing a striker in the market they could compete for important goals

I also think he will retire eventually, he had said it and announced it probably only for the reason that Roma was in difficulty and needed a serious and trustworthy person until the end of the season
for the rest i don't think he'll stay, also because i repeat, he said he wanted to rest

Sir Claudio Ranieri I don't think he will retire next year, he hasn't said anything about it yet and he is in love with his job. A great coach who did a great feat, I remember him like this! When he won the Premier League by winning against everything and everyone and bringing glory to the Leicester. No no, I'm not ready to hear that Sir Claudio Ranieri is retiring

here he is back among us, our dear friend the lillominato89
he had retired, but with what he is doing with Roma we don't know, the only certain thing is that his mandate is until the end of the following season we don't know
maybe he's tired and wants to enjoy his retirement

I wouldn't rule out this scenario.

He gave a break after leaving Cagliari for 5 months and returned to his career with Roma recently. If he leaves Roma in a short time as well then I think he might think of giving another break. But so far he has been doing a really good job with Roma. I mean it is a better work than the previous managers at least. Smiley A team like Roma don't deserve to be that behind in the Serie A. If Ranieri keeps this up he can save this team with some good transfers.

I really enjoy the title race this season. Inter and Napoli are in a fierce rivalry. I wonder whether Atalanta will manage to go back in the race after losing many points on the recent weeks.

I think motta shouldn’t be judge this season, he should be given another season and a couple of transfers, I believe he can do better at juventus, it still a long season and anything could still happen, maybe he can turn it around we will see.

I agree with that already mate.  Smiley  This is his first season and he wasn't given enough money to make proper transfers. This squad isn't strong enough. Not defensively of course, I mean they have been weak in offense.

So Claudiu Ranieri will actually end his career story at the end of this season right ? For me , he is a legendary coach and the last real coach who actually won EPL with a mediocre team back in 15/16 with Leicester and that is where most of the people actually heard his name but for us who are bit older , we know him for decades.

Juventus - Milan = both teams to score ? Milan to win ? this is my prediction for this game.

Atalanta - Napoli = under 2.5 goals here ...because I do have a feeling this game will have so much expectation from the fans and it will fail do deliver because of those high expectations.

Ranieri's contract lasts only until the summer. But if he goes on like this in the long run then I expect him to stay without a doubt.

Milan won't lose I think. Both teams would also score if we don't see a surprise. Atalanta - Napoli is a difficult one to take a side. But I would prefer Atalanta if I did. Under 2.5 goals is sensible to give a chance but it would be really stressful to follow the game.  Grin

I would like to see him another season but he is already 73 years old and I'm sure he wants to spend his retirement era somewhere near family and kinda away from football when he has been all his life. However , he will go down in history as one of the bests.

Well , it seems both of us were wrong with Milan as Juve won 2-0 and surprised me to be honest because I expected Milan to score at least once... . I didn't even expect to see such a great game between Atalanta and Napoli but man what a game of football we had with 5 goals , a lot of miss chances , 7 yellow cards and tensions all over the stadium and Napoli are still 1st place with 6 points now between them and Inter.  Grin

Big win for juventus, a win that put them in the top 4, though lazio is having a match at hand, which will be played tomorrow against Verona. I expect lazio to win Verona, they are currently struggling and trying to battle their way out of the relegation zone.

After the defeat to AC Milan in the super cup, juventus needed a result in Favour of them, they are playing at home and they really don’t need to disappoint their fans today. It was a good result for them, goals coming from Samuel Mbangula and Timothy weah was enough to get them the win. It their only win in their last five matches. The will face Napoli in their next seria A match, another tough one for them.

Overall it was an interesting match, any side could have won the game but the home team played more better and it a deserving win, maybe it was because they had thousands of fans behind them. Let see if Juventus can build on their winning form here.

Juventus should have been able to win at home this time, after previously being defeated by Milan in the Super Cup semifinals. However, until the 55th minute, there seemed to be no sign that Juventus would win. Because after all, Juventus was only able to have ball possession but Juventus was very bad for goal attempts and shots on target. Although Juventus dominated the course of this match, Juventus found a deadlock to penetrate Milan's defense line. Thus, maybe a draw will occur in this match and of course, a draw will still be a bad result for Juventus, because Juventus has drawn too often so far this season.

2 big matches coming up in the seria A today, juventus takes on AC Milan today and Atalanta also takes on Napoli, both matches are decisive ones, matches like this tends to define how your season ends. Home teams have much advantage in this kind of matches because they will have thousands of their fans behind them cheering them up and also it’s familiar ground for them.

Juventus are still unbeaten this season, even if they are struggling in picking all three points but they are still in the race for a top 4. AC Milan will definitely give them a good fight but I still feel somehow this one will still end in a draw. Well I will be watching this one and I will prefer to gamble on corner.

Atalanta match is another big one too, it a match that will decide who wins the title this season, Atalanta are currently struggling, failing to win a match in their last four matches in all competitions, in as much as they desperately need a win it going to be hard. Napoli are very strong right now and with inter Milan dropping points they will need to win this one. I really hope Napoli win this one because I’m hoping they will win the league this season.

I don?t think juventus will win any trophy this season, the are struggling to pick points In the league, I think all they can fight for is for a place to at least participate in European competition next season, either the Europa league or the conference league. A champions league will Be very difficult to get with a lot of competition in the for the top 4.

True. Like you, i also think that Juventus won't win anything this season, they don't have the numbers to do so
even if the team defends well and plays well, come on, they are missing the fundamental thing and I always say this... an attack worthy of the name
If you don't score goals you can't win matches, at most draw them
Juventus have stopped working hard which is why they don't have what it takes to win this trophy.  Although he used to have a good record and performance earlier, but since then he has started playing so badly that he is not able to rise again. Juventus must work hard or they will be useless this season. Their defense is also not good, if the defense is good and strong, their players work hard, either they score goals, they are stopped due to pressure, or they lose the match due to the strength of the strong team Because of these reasons, Juventus is not succeeding. It depends on their hard work how well they play to draw the match or also depends on the performance of the opposing team how many goals they score.  In this sense, the match will be played with draw and win efficiency.

Well if a team is going to have a good season, I think you will get to know from the first half of the season. Juventus already lost the super cup, they are currently struggling in both Italian league and the Champions League, they can only try to clinch on the coppa italia, they will be facing empoli in the quarter finals of the Coppa Italia so maybe, just maybe they can get something but I still doubt. The likes of AC Milan,Atalanta, inter Milan are still all in the coppa italia, so it going to be a tough one for Juventus.

Yeah, i think there is still a champions league hope for juventus, but they need to start recording winnings because there are almost 7 teams fighting for that top 4 spot. The top 4 fight is going to be a very tough one, the Italian league haven’t been this competitive for years. Let see maybe juventus can turn their season around.
