Explanation by the OP of the ANN thread:
... It is likely that these new accounts are users who came for us from other social networks. We made an announcement and told our community about what we now have on bitcointalk. We are sure that over time they will get used to this forum.
... I am sure that all these people came to support us after we told them that we are now on this forum. I don’t think they’ve conceived anything bad.

I'm not buying it, though.  Wink

OP can you please check out and watch for new ANN topic for Center Coin:
https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/ann-center-coin-provides-users-with-optimized-assets-services-5262053

We are starting to see bunch of comments from newbie accounts.
They also did same commenting for some ESR coin.
Yeah I noticed Center Coin just after I made this last update. It is also an obvious case of bumping. As you said, same accounts worked on ESR coin too, including the OP of Center Coin so no wonder that both of those ANN threads have similar design as well, since thye obviosuly hired the same marketing agency to create their ANN and provide some extra visibility or whichever  term they use to sell that useless spamming.

Two new announcement threads added  to the list, both are from the same project, Simba Storage.

🔥[ANN]SIMBA Storage-Stablecoin baked by Bitcoin Satoshi
🔥[ANN]SIMBA Storage - Cтeйблкoин Oбecпeчeнный Caтoши
Simba storage decided to use bumping service for both English and Russian threads, similar to what PZM Cash and SUR  are doing. Accounts that are active in SIMBA are also working on few other names on the list, like DSF and PZM Cash removing any doubt whether they are using their their own accounts or just hiring external party to do their dirty work.

I will keep an eye on them also. I think they are using service. Because some of the accounts are from 2014 but they are only posting on ann thread. So, those accounts must be the accounts of that service seller.
But you can also be right they might use the airdrop system to bump the thread. let's see the next round of airdrop.
There is one more thing that makes me lean towards conclusion that this spam was made by airdrop: if you check that archived version of their ANN (since all those spam posts have been deleted now) you will see that most comments were very short, like "great project", "good project" "thanks" and similar spam. While posts made by bumping services are not much better, they are still  a bit longer, and usually made in form of question, so they at least write one whole sentence, and not word or two like it is usually the case with airdrop spam.

Anyway, let's see what happens when they start 2nd airdrop round.

You are right, something fishy is going on there. At first it might look as they hired someone, but since post quality is so bad, it made me belive that they might organized an airdrop, and part of the requirement was to comment there. So I checked their telegram group, and it might be the case, but since airdrop finished, I can't be 100% sure. If they indeed gave tokens in an exchange for comments, that  was breaking of forum rules and for that admins delete such threads.

As you can see in the screenshot below, they didn't explicitly said to comment there in order to get tokens, but since they mentioned that there will be more airdrop rounds, gonna keep an eye on them so i can actually try that telegram bot, so see whether comments on bitcointalk are part of it.

Check usernames of bump accounts in last pages. All accounts created 01. Jully, 02 Jully and 15. Jully. plus all of them use upper case in username. it is very likely all accounts have the same owner, the only question is whether they are property of this L2L Token, or they just use third part paid bumping service.
Yeah those accounts were made in a bulk, and probably by the same person. I would say that they are part of the bumping group and not property of L2L as before they were active in their thread, they worked in few other ANN, specifically in Arc Iris, Marketpeak and XBR, and all those hired bumping service. If they were made by L2l, they would spam only there. At least that's the standard practice, from I noticed so far.

Another Ann Thread Using Bumping service:
Project: Clipx

This project is surely using ann Thread bumping service. Till 27th june that thread had only 22posts. But in last 2days this thread has been flooded by some newbie posts. All are 1sentence posts. And many accounts have only one post that are on this thread. In last two days the posts amount reached to 55 from 22. I think you should add this  too your list. Check the links thanks.

Crypto Swap Exchange
~
[ANN] [IEO] [p2pb2b] | 30% Bonus | L2L Token | Sustainable World
Similar situation like in previous case. Thier ANN is from previous year, but they recently started IEO on P2PB2B exchange, so decided to "spice" it up with some shitposting and spamming, courtesy of bumping service group. Accounts active there also worked on XBR and Arc Iris in the past.

Three new additions to the list, still have no clue how those "marketing agencies" manage to sell that when it's so fake and totally ineffective.

[ANN] V SYSTEMS - Blockchain Database and App Platform by Sunny King [SPoS/Mint]
V Systems have their ANN for quite some time, and it looks like they used bumping service in the past and stopped,  but recently they reactivated. Accounts that are "working" in their thread are also active in another one on the list, Cocos BCX.

BINARY OPTIONS SIGNALS EPIC 400% TRADER GROUP - HIGH ACCURACY SIGNALS 24 HOURS
Recently started ANN that didn't loose time-they saw that nooen commented in their thread for 10 days, so they decided to hire bumping service to fake hype and interest. Looks like the same one V Systems hired,  accounts active in Spectre.ai are also active there as well.

One more announcement thread added to the list

[ANN] EURST ~ Eurst Cryptocurrency Technology Driven Services
Beside being busted for plagiarizing whitepaper from two different sources, EURST decided to go full retard as they hired bumping service to additionally promote this scammy project. So now they have red tagged newbie accounts spamming their thread and pretending to be interested, hoping to lure someone new and inexperienced.

Two more ANN  threads added to the list:

[ANN] DSF - The SoFi Blockchain - Redefine Social Network with Blockchain
Recently made self-moderated announcement thread, with bunch of newbie accounts made in 2018/2019 with no prior activity suddenly  woke up and decided to spam this thread. It is obvious that they hired one of those bumping services. Posts are constantly reported and deleted, let's see when they give up.

[ANN] HEX2X - A lucrative, high-interest currency, designed to reward stakers
Same situation like in DSF case -  Newbie accounts made few years ago sudenly woke up and are spamming HEX2X thread

I can't find Bitwings ICO on the list.
It is obvious they are using bumping services.
They are indeed using bumping service, and for quite some time. I've been planning to add them for some time, but somehow i forgot, thanks for reminder, Bitwings added  to the list, as 40th ANN identified and accounts tagged!

Also connected with higher ranked members like kpcian that is banned now
and some others also...
Yep, all merits came from few banned accounts. It is either same group, or account sale. In any case, it is an obvious merit abuse.

One thing should also be noticed:
This guy cooltoadfrommoon is part of some bump squad,
but it is very easy we may see him in DT default trust soon, because he has +1 trust from DT1 member  EcuaMobi from year 2014.
Look at his post history:

@Rikafip, can you check this ZenLedger service ANN thread: Do I really have to pay taxes on crypto investments? by zenledgerio
As far as I can see, all posts in the whole thread are made by only six newbie accounts and bumping is active to this day.
Yep, without a doubt ZenLedger hired bumping service to promote their project, as I can see those accounts worked on several other threads in the past, like Amfeix and Lukki exchange among others,  for which they got tagged .

Good find, ANN added to the list!

Can you check and add this topic for MARTKIST coin?
https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/martkist-martkdecentralized-listings-idspow-sha256-react-native-soon-5219308

Topic is full of pyramid posts from members like escalante28 and others.
Not sure they use some bumping service or not.
I noticed that activity in Martkist ANN as well, but since I am not 100% certain that they hired someone to do bumping for them, I didn't include them on the list. At least not for now, but I wilk keep an eye on them.

There are some connections though with another suspicious thread that might have hired someone, Stake TERN on BlockCard For The Best Crypto Debit Card. For that thread there is more evidence, but gonna observe it for a while, before adding it to the list

Update

Goldario ponzi scheme ANN thread has been deleted, therefore current status has been changed to reflect that.

Two new ANN threads have been added to the list:

37. [ANN] [CryptoNight] BminerCoin - Heavy mining and remote control
As explained in this post from SpamBusters topic, it is an obvious case of thread bumping, that is still going on.

38. 🚀AFFILCOIN: STAKE & DELEGATE |DPoS|🔥PROFIT-10% a month|🤑PROMO-EARN 100k COINS
Beside being generally shady project with affiliate shenanigans, there are also several red flags that point to use of bumping service:
  • almost no activity for the first few months since ANN creation, and then suddenly week ago thread got significant increase in activity
  • thread full of one liners and quote pyramids
  • accounts used are Newbie rank made in 2018/2019 with no prior posting history
  • majority of accounts are also bumping another project that is already on the list, Tozex
