Updates:

- It's now possible to use USDT (TRC-20) to buy from Bitrefill. You can't load your account with it though.
- Coinsbee has integrated Binance Pay: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.57222667

For those who are not familiar with Binance Pay, it's a service that Binance released a few weeks ago which allows you to send/receive crypto with zero fees. The service is obviously centralized and requires KYC, but if you're already verified, you might as well just use it.

I haven't checked the other services for some time, so if you think I missed something important, please let me know so I update the topic.

Since Ikea is now open here (closed with the lockdown) I finally finished my kitchen! Can't believe.
Made 100% with bitcoin via gift cards on Coinsbee and Bitrefill (perhaps I bought a voucher for Amazon too) and 1 trade.

You can't imagine how hard I worked to get everything done. Between the electricity, tiling, painting, and furnishings, and plumbing. Not to mention a wall that I screwed up twice lol.

I "plagiarised" or "paraphrased" this one, nothing fancy, but I'm so happy with it. With a dishwasher, no more dishwashing chores  Grin

Wow! Sweet! Your new kitchen looks great! I am happy that everything went smoothly with the gift cards. But you do realise that if you have a new kitchen now, we'll be expecting a top performance from you next year for Bitcoin Pizza Day, right?  Cheesy

I recently tried out the Otto and the Cyberport gift cards on Bitrefill. Both worked fine without an issue.

If someone is looking for electronics, keep in mind that it's Amazon Prime Day next week (21/22.06). On these days there are usually particularly good offers.

I don't think this is the right place for you to ask for their feedback. Looks like you've already created a support ticket, if the problem is really big you can create another thread in the reputation section and ask them to respond there. Hope you get a reply soon!

for Visa and Master Prepaid cards we have to ask for the address and name (thats new). And above the limits we have to check the personal data in detail. See below.

"From an amount of 1.000€ we are obliged to request the personal data.
From a payment of more than 10.000€ per day a verification by identity card is necessary.
From a payment of more than 15.000€ is one is a verification by identity card and an address comparison necessary."

It appears that a customer can no longer buy a prepaid Mastercard or Visa virtual credit card from Coinsbee without first signing up for a Coinsbee account.

I can't say this is surprising but again, I don't think it makes much difference because PrepaidDigitalSolutions can always ask for your personal documents if you ever redeemed a large number of codes.

I can see that some GCs (PCS France for instance) cannot be bought anymore due to some of them being region-locked, which is strange since these are cards that you're supposed to be able to give to people... Is there any workaround for this? I assume that they're showing the warning message based on my location but trying to find a proper VPN for many countries (I'm not sure how many cards have this issue) is not something I'm interested in doing. :/

I just found out about an actual reliable (at least it seems) method to get visa/mastercard giftcards so as to stay anoynomous protecting my privacy thanks to your amazing thread (apart from ezzocard which is really expensive and from private vcc sellers which seems less reliable :/)).
Though i got some questions  about its practicality if I really plan to use it for this purpose - staying anoynomous for privacy concerns while using mastercard/visa payments. Is it likely in your personal experience that prepaiddigitalsoltions ask for your personal documents if I simply plan to redeem a few (like within 5 codes/year?)?  Besides, that does Coinsbee require verifcation pf your personal information if you register to buy their perpaid cards?

If there are other simialr services that could be of use which came to your mind (anoynomously get Loaded mastercard/visa VCCs/giftcaedy, I’d appreciate it if you could mention it too!

I'm not aware of any other services VCCs and to answer your questions:

Coinsbee shouldn't ask you to verify your identity unless you reach the limit (10,000 EUR) so you're basically safe for two years if the 5 cards you're planning to buy are of 1000 EUR denominations. As for PrepaidDigitalSolutions, then there is always that risk. You can read the warning from Coinsbee's webpage:

Quote
If a large number of codes are redeemed on a single account, prepaiddigitalsolutions.com may suspend the account for further investigation. We have no control over this.

Personally, I have bought many cards in the past (never 500/1000 EUR cards though) and never got asked to verify my identity.

Also, before buying, please check their Trustpilot review page before because even though I haven't faced any issues myself, it appears that other people did.

Also, do you mean the voucher is in the form of a barcode with a PIN? And not a voucher with a code like AQHS 5DOC8 NFSV PSP1 (i.e. like Amazon)

When you buy an IKEA voucher, you will receive a QR code and a XXXX-XXXX-XXXX code (these two codes are identical). In addition, you will receive a 4-digit pin code for your voucher.

As you cannot scan the QR code when shopping online, use the XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX and pin on their website. When you visit one of their stores, simply go to one of the self-service checkouts, scan the voucher's QR code and enter the pin and you're all set. You can also use one of the regular checkouts and give the voucher to one of the staff and they will help you. If the QR code does not work, you can also ask the staff to type in the XXXX-XXXX-XXXX code manually.

It will look like this:

I learn something new today. I didn't even know that the vouchers can be used offline in their stores. I always bought online for a delivery at home directly and never visited a store.

You can also use REWE (groceries), MediaMarkt or Saturn (electronics) vouchers while shopping "offline". You simply print out your gift card and give it to one of the staff at the checkout, who will then scan it for you.

I got a 19 digit number without barcode for IKEA. I guess they just type it in the shop:

Gift card(s) can be used as a complete or partial payment in IKEA stores including online.

I've seen other shops that give vouchers with a barcode.

Thanks for the reply.  Smiley

I bought something last week but I hesitated to use BTC because I really needed furniture and didn't want to be 'surprised at the last moment. Since I need to change my kitchen soon I guess the next time I will buy a voucher with BTC.

@bullrun2020bro

Did you ever try to pay with an Ikea voucher? Just to know if there is a restriction or something similar. I don't want to get a surprise at the last moment

Sorry for the late reply. I haven't checked the thread in a while. I used the German IKEA voucher several times so far (online and offline in one of their stores). You just scan the code and enter the pin. You just have to keep in mind that you have to wait at least 48 hours until you can use the voucher (sometimes it can even take 72 hours).

@OmegaStarScream

France was supposed to strengthen the laws concerning these means of payment, that's perhaps why.

As for PCS, did you try with an IP based in Europe? Because the service is restricted to European citizens. Not sure if it's something new. And when you visit Coinsbee you can notice on the PCS' page the only area you can select in Europe, which corresponds to the PCS policy.

If you take a voucher for Toneofirst (which is also French) it's the same thing and the service is restricted to French citizens

Also, it appears that they have updated their privacy policy to give themselves more leeway in their use of collected user data and to change the name of the company that operates the Coinsbee service from "TSMH GmbH" to "Coinsbee GmbH."

@bullrun2020bro Have you checked Coinsbee? You'll probably find what you're looking for there since they're a german service.

Thanks a lot for your suggestion, but unfortunately Coinsbee has even less gift cards available. They recently added a few new gift cards and announced this on the German local board:

Stores like IKEA, Saturn, MediaMarkt oder ASOS are now available on their platform. Unfortunately they haven't added any of the gift cards mentioned in my previous post yet. Nevertheless, they have announced that more gift cards will be added in the near future.

Hello! please fill your requests here so we can consider them: https://bitrefill.typeform.com/to/ebD2b2Gs

Okay, strange. Why can't you consider them, if I post them here? Especially if you read them already.  Huh

Hello gang, we have reduced the deposit fee for low amounts, it is not dynamic.

Hey @bitrefill! Thanks for your reply.

One more question: Do you plan to add more gift cards for the German market soon (e.g. Food deliveries (Lieferando, Wolt etc.); Supermarkets (Penny, Edeka) or chemist's (DM, Rossmann)?

Compared to other countries, there are relatively few gift card offers for the German market.

Hello! please fill your requests here so we can consider them: https://bitrefill.typeform.com/to/ebD2b2Gs

@bullrun2020bro Have you checked Coinsbee? You'll probably find what you're looking for there since they're a german service.

Has anyone experienced receiving SMS from Bitrefill whenever they top up their phones? Sometimes it happens, and sometimes it's only the phone operator. Any idea on what could be triggering that and how to stop it?

Hello, you mean the SMS to inform you about the refill successful right? if you have any questions or requests please write to [email protected] and our team will help you there.
