I'm looking to buy a Netflix gift card and I've noticed the difference in prices between Bitrefill and Coinsbee. Bitrefill's prices seems reasonable, so I'll buy from it since OmegaStarScream vouched for it.
Both of them are good, but make sure to check or rather compare different values/amounts as well [results aren't always the same and it probably has something to do with their current supplies]:

e.g. If you get Netflix 70 BRL [screenshot]:
  • At the moment is 0.0007669 BTC on Coinsbee, while on Bitrefill is 0.00077504 BTC.
    • Even if we take into account the 1% reward on Bitrefill, it's still slightly cheaper on Coinsbee (I'm referring to this case only):
      0.00077504 - 1% reward (0.0000077504) = 0.0007672896BTC

Interesting, thanks for the reply. It's nice that you are constantly adding new stores.

Unfortunately, the fees are quite high at 4€+ for a 100€ voucher. And the competition (still) does it cheaper. See here, for example, Bitrefill:

Actually, there are no fees at all, and with the 1% cashback you even get your money back for the transaction fee.

In my opinion Coinsbee - https://www.coinsbee.com/en/ is the best of these. I buy there gift cards quite long time and I'm fully satisfied

Thx for the feedback. We try to get better conditions for those giftcards all the time to improve the prices.

You're welcome. Keep it up. IMHO, you are on the right track! The relatively high fees are the only thing that you are still lacking a bit. The selection of vouchers has improved significantly compared to last year (especially for German users).

@Coinsbee this is not meant to be a criticism of your service, but simply the reason why I tend to use the competition in this case - even though you are a German company and I would be happy to support you.

We added more than 1500 different brands in the last month. In total we have now 2000+ brands. We have some more brands in the pipeline which will be added before christmas.
Which brands do you miss? We will try to add them.

Warm regards from Germany
Coinsbee.com - Team

I have a few suggestions for a few German brands you could add to your store:

  • Uber / Uber Eats (Delivery / Food Delivery)
  • Wolt (Food Delivery)
  • DM (Drug store)
  • Hotels.com (Hotels)
  • Lieferando (Food Delivery)

Nevertheless, you definitely need to work on your prices. For example, if you have to pay almost 5€ fees for a 100€ Amazon gift card, that's not very attractive. Especially if you get the gift card with other providers without fees and even save further through their cashback programs. I would really like to support you guys, but currently most gift cards are just too expensive.

Did two credit card payments with bitrefills bill pay.
Started another thread so this one can stay for gift card providers and leave the other one for the bill pay service.

Anyone used bitrefill recently? Its still good yes??
It works fine for me most of the time. Sometimes not all cards or all denominations are available.

I would not advise you to buy high-value vouchers. This is the kind of thing that makes Amazon flag your account and suspend it. Their system is sometimes too strict. Personally, even if my Amazon account is old, i wouldn't add a 200€ voucher to it
I've seen the stories, and I haven't tried it, but it's not something I worry about. Even if I pay by voucher, Amazon charges my creditcard with a 0.00 euro reservation. So if their gift card "bounces" (which would be ridiculous to begin with!), they won't lose money.

I use it regularly, the last time was a few days ago with SportDirect UK, and yes it is still good. However, I would not advise you to buy high-value vouchers. Bitrefill is cheaper regarding Amazon vouchers compared to Coinsbee.

I don't have a specific preference between both, I alternate, but what I like with bitrefill is the possibility to top up my account to use it later. So if the BTC price goes down, I don't care. You also have a cashback of 1% per Amazon voucher. It's not a lot but like we say in my country, every penny counts.

Would possibly need recommendations for gift card providers who could possibly be better than bitrefill perhaps? Is coinsbee better than bitrefill currently or no? Planning to buy some amazon credits sometime soon so would love me some recommendations Cheesy

Yes. It currently is but I might end up making a separate list for individuals and P2P platforms.
PLEASE DO! I would like to do some lil wittle transactions with some decent individuals/P2P plats.

Yeah, but with a 2% fee on the bill payments from bitrefill
I think their 2% fee is still good enough for smaller bills and it seems that you can still use Strike to take advantage of their "5% cashback [credit goes to @Kahuna_07 on Twitter]".
- Personally, I'm more worried about the time it takes for them to pay the bills ["within 3 business days"] because I had a bad experience with using a similar service in the past [locally]!

Well I just too a look around and yes there are mortgage and auto loan providers there.
Don't have a car loan at the moment but I will pay a CC bill and a few other other things and see how it goes.

Is this list only for actual companies/websites who sell gift cards?
-snip-

Yes. It currently is but I might end up making a separate list for individuals and P2P platforms.

Some updates:
- U.S citizens will soon be able to pay their bills using Bitrefill[1].
- Coinsbee is now offering VCCs (MasterCards) again[2], but with another provider.

[1] https://www.bitrefill.com/us-bills
[2] https://www.coinsbee.com/en/My%2BPrepaid%2BCenter%2BMastercard-bitcoin

Yeah, but with a 2% fee on the bill payments from bitrefill and a 10% markup (no that's not a typo) fee on the VCCs from coinsbee.
For the US & Canada there are better deals on the VCC. I don't know about the rest of the world.
The bill payment is new thing so 2% although high IMO may or may not be average for these kinds of services.
Will be interesting to see if you can pay car loan or lease payments, mortgage payments and those kinds of things.

Bitrefill has updated (increased) its limits a few days ago, though I don't see what's the point of having these limits when it's allowed to buy without an account:

Maximum purchasing limits: 500 USD per day and 1.000 USD per month

If I had to guess, I would say it's probably just a problem with the 50euro denominations (of your country) otherwise many other people would've reported it and they would've fixed it already.

It would be interesting to know what happened to the cards though. If I were you, I'd reach out to IKEA as well, and try to figure out what happened and see when they were redeemed and what was bought (if possible). This should help you get your refund from Bitrefill quicker since they're dealing with a third-party supplier.

I will contact Bitrefill's support but I'm posting here to see what others members think about a problem I have with gifts cards bought from Bitrefill.

In September 2021, I bought a gift card for Ikea but never used it because it was bought for later.
This afternoon, I was shopping online and decided to use the voucher so. To my surprise, once I added the code Ikea displays the message: Amount remaining on the card 2,14 € (it's a 50€ voucher)

I started to think: how did that come? I'm sure I never used it. Wow, I got hacked and someone found the screenshot on my laptop? No
Someone else in my home used it without me knowing it? No. Am I sure I never used it? Yes, 1000%.

Humm, I need to finish my order with Ikea, let's buy another voucher on Bitrefill and I will see later about it.
I do, I buy a 50€ code and use it on Ikea.
Guess what the website tells me? Amount remaining on the card 2,14 €

I'm aware there is a 48h delay to use the voucher but that's not always the case, and that's not the problem, otherwise, the 2nd voucher wouldn't work and not tell me "Amount remaining on the card 2,14 €"

Since I'm sure it doesn't come from my side and there is nothing showing it could come from Ikea, I truly think there is a problem with Bitrefill.

edit:

ok, the problem was from my side. 2,14 is the amount left after i finish the checkout. I feel me a bit dumb Roll Eyes

I can see that they are offering Windows keys as well, are they supposed to be this cheap? I looked around G2A and they're almost double there.
Honestly, I can't recall how much I paid to activate mine, but when you put it that way [x2 prices in G2A], it makes me doubt its legitimacy [even after reading "this" page [apart from the main images at the top, it seems that some of their suppliers tend to sell it to a few users]].
