I think that litecoin has a great future. It is silver. one of the competitors of bitcoin. I think it will show itself more.

Well, it's true that Litecoin is silver to Bitcoin's gold, but the way I see it, is that Litecoin will complement the pioneer cryptocurrency rather than becoming a rival or competitor. While Bitcoin has been struggling to reach consensus for SegWit adoption, Litecoin has managed to adopt it first meaning that it has a well unified community than the former. Also, Litecoin has faster transaction speeds, and cheaper fees than BTC, making it quite attractive for micropayments.

Given the level of attention that LTC has received lately, i'd say that it is far away from becoming dead anytime soon. It will continue to receive improvements and support from its users and developers, making it stand among other altcoins as a solid cryptocurrency for many years to come.

Nevertheless, Litecoin has been one of the oldest altcoins in existence, making it one of the strongest cryptocurrencies in terms of adoption and hashrate. Just my thoughts Grin

*sigh* Litecoin's main value is you can use it to do transactions. Back when Bitcoin was in the dumpster a few days ago I went to the ATM and took out some money:

$500 in Bitcoin: $50 fee, took 8 hours to get a confirmation, had to go back to get my $500
$500 in Litecoin: Buck or two fee, took 4 minutes to get a confirmation, walked out with my $$$

If you're actually trying to buy something, or sell something litecoin can be used to make the transaction. If you have a hooker in your hotel room and need her to go away, litecoin is the fastest way to pay.

THAT is the benefit of Litecoin. Bitcoin right now is clogged and locked up transaction wise. If litecoin can maintain a somewhat stable value it can be very useful.

Do you think bitcoin transaction problems started itself? Don't you see bitmain spammers are causing congestion on bitcoin blockchain intentionally?

Once we get rid of bitcoin cash's puppet spammers, everything will be good in bitcoin, surely.

if this coin was dead, the price would be below 1000 satoshi, I would never underestimate LTC in the past, so this time
you will never know what will happen the last time I take almost a month for ltc to follow btc in the price, and then there will be the highest price at the moment

I don't have a cent in Litecoin, but I find it funny how few years ago they "officially" called it dead and its still around today.

nothing to say anymore about litecoin since the price is going down. luckily i am not invested my money into them.

BTC-LTC is a very important trading pair and it is going up. LTC-USD is falling, yes. But not as fast as BTC-USD is falling. Basically the priice of LTC is only going down because BTC is also going down.

It's never a good idea to buy a company's stock when that company's CEO and other executives are selling the stock. Generally that means they know something the public doesn't know and they're taking profits before the stock tanks. This whole business about Lee selling all his Litecoin is got me worried that something bad is coming

The key here is stake and motivation that comes from that. Agreed, there is some room for concern here. But... There is a huge difference if Charlie Lee (your average geek) sells or Roger Ver (your average CEO) sells. One is only motivated by pure greed, the other is not and actually enjoys the technology alone. I'll let you decide which is which.

However, Lee’s announcement received a mixed response, with some community members praising him for his “sacrifice” and others questioning whether his lack of “skin in the game” will actually make him less-invested in litecoin’s long-term success. Mike Novogratz, the billionaire manager of $500 million crypto hedge fund Galaxy Investment Partners, questioned whether it was a good move, stating on Twitter that he would be worried if Ethereum co-founders Vitalik Buterin or Joseph Lubin liquidated their ether balances. “I think it’s extremely bullish!” Lee replied.

I don't think its dead, its trading at a $17 billion market cap. However, founder Charlie Lee just sold all of his holdings which could point to a murky future.

Actually, I knew other information about Altcoin. I have heard that it is again rising in price and gaining popularity. Economists predict Altcoin a successful future. What do you think about it?

For the deceased he somehow very vividly traded. They call bitcoin gold, and it is called silver. And what growth is it? You can say rebelled from the dead.
