Litecoin is such a coin that I would never spend. I'll just hold them until Bitcoin's price skyrocket and so as Litecoin's. This is a coin that I'll keep stored in a paper wallet for future generations

Should the wallet run on Raspberry PI? My cousin is selling one, I hold this currency so I’d like to make sure it runs fine before buying it. And even though Raspberry is cheap I want to make sure first

I've been involved in & HODLED bitcoin since May 2014. Never been interested in any altcoin's before but I see potential with Litecoin now.

Thinking of buying & HODLING 10 Litecoin just to start with. What's the best wallet to use, I don't want to use a QT type client.

i have a ledger nano s which includes a litecoin wallet. i presume the cheaper ones do as well.

I recommend buying with CNY off of OKCoin where LTC is just 66.09 CNY! You could easily buy a couple tens of thousands at those prices of approximately $9 USD.

and why would it be cheaper on there? oh yeah, it's completely impossible to withdraw it. sounds like a great plan to me.

Litecoin in unpredictable actions. Looks week. Maybe reason for bitcoin rising.

I personally can not trust for open position at this time. There seems to be a lack of motivation.

Electrum is a fantastic wallet if you're just looking for a quick solution otherwise you could download Core but it takes days to sync.
yea i saw that but dont they have holds on all withdrawals i could be wrong but i thought they did.

its not death yet, the community involved is too big, lite coin is the second coin after bitcoin. developer will do some innovation after the price get in to $20, now the price is still too cheap.

I think the price now stabilized from 10 to 12 $, a lot of people are angry due to high fees for transactions with BTC and look for another alternative and it could be the LTC so that the price could still could rise and if demand increases

Never think that way, that could make you make bad trading decisions. People will not leave Bitcoin for a roller coaster altcoin because of the transaction time. Because this transaction time is not a problem in Bitcoin, but an attack against it, making it way too slow now, and we know from where it does come : Bitcoin Unlimited.

As they say, you don't pay a hooker to come over, or to stay, but to leave. So yes, 2.5m transaction confirmations would be golden.

LOL but litecoin just take up to 2,5 minutes for delivering your transaction. It's possible to pay a hooker with a fast transaction through litecoin.

2.5 Minutes? Damn, that's a bit slow for me. That'd be awkward.

I'd finish in 90 seconds and have to wait around making small talk with a hooker for a minute.

Bitcoin users will not look for alternative, the main reason is that the site they are using does not accept LTC, so what is the point of shifting to LTC if it is not accepted elsewhere?

I guess this segwit activation will further increase the price of LTC.  Remember after Segwit, there are lots of application to be added to LTC that is supposed to be for Bitcoin.  This will create hype and couple with some pump = bullish LTC in steroid.
True, however most bitcoin ATMs for example can be easily programmed for Litecoin. One big problem with BTC is if you're trying to pay a hooker in Vegas do you really want to wait 10 minutes for your transaction to maybe confirm? You want a nice quick settlement so you can go out and get a burger at the Luxor.
I strongly agree because the source code of litecoin is 90% identic with the source code of bitcoin.
It will quite easier to put litecoin to be another choice on bitcoin atm. In these days more of the bitcoin users have used litecoin to be the off-chain transaction.
