We are now 113 pages into this thread. I want to officially declare that Litecoin is not dead.

The comeback kid!! This is one of the coins I've been eyeing since I started lurking around here a few weeks ago. I actually have a really good idea for a technology that uses the blockchain, do you have any advice for making connections with junior-satoshis that would be interested in working on a real project? You know, a coin that's actually useful, that could solve one of humanities problems? Or am I flirting with death speaking of such things in financial terms? Lol, never mined the noob. My own grandiosity never ceases to amaze me.

If your theory was correct likely the price increase would be coming from Chinese exchanges. The price increase is coming from western exchanges and the Chinese exchanges are lagging far behind. You can see for yourself here:

http://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/litecoin/#markets

It's unfortunate that you didn't do well with your miner. That doesn't predict the market as much as you might think.
Exactly the webpage that I am watching. Scroll down below row 233 (and yes, it's listed with > 250 trade locations, no other alt reaches that far) and recognize xBTCe. No trading fees? Might be worth visiting.

Only reason LTC is going up is because Bitmainer and Innosilicon and all the LTC Asics want to sell the new hardware @ $2k per unit tell me if i am wrong.... the hardware makers accumulate and sell bunch of hardware and than wait till the dump comes not today not tomorrow not for a long time but it will come.

FYI: I am one of those suckers who bought 88MH/s (which averages around 68MH/s on Litecoin pool good for 0.4 LTC per day)  A2 innosilicone if any one is interested let me know, PM me and I can sell it to you.

I know not the right post for selling A2 Innosilicone.

To be honest with you I got the A2 terminator for $250 with shipping from ebay as i have access to free electricty so i thought why the hell not. I could recover it back in 5 months but looks like it would be sooner for me on the A2 terminator current ROI is 2.5 months if the price of Litecoin holds. If it goes higher it would be faster. Either way I will make money of the A2 and Litecoin....

But i am sure chinese excchanges can buy LItecoin on western exchanges doesn't prove anything... the other thing is after recent LTC pop i betchya tons of people order L3's and A4.

Done selling my LTC.
I think momentum is lost, volume is sliding down. Nobody needs Segwit today and hardly tomorrow.
Sell and run guys, it's over Smiley
Enjoy your pocket change profits, you'll be buying back at a loss in a panic or shitting yourself as the market leaves you behind permanently.

Segwit = HYPE = PUMP = DUMP

I sir will man up and take that bet Smiley I assume you mean that with LTC and the price rise in general ...going to dump?

just got 3 L3's hosted complete with a hash replacement (if the miners go down and need repaired...bitmain don't ya know...ie china for the month) Smiley
turn ON at payment....he has them NOW...pretty slick rather then waiting a month for the next bitmain L3 order on eastshore april 27th ...

anyway chump or champ we will see.....750 mh at 2550 usd each complete hosting for the year/rent all and above hash replacement warranty

So IF LTC holds above $6 floor I'm fine...if not MAYBE a slow drudge to mine myself out of the hole ..ie 14 months

anyway my bet

(asic gambling again....off the wagon ) Smiley

if you want info on the turn on now hosting above just pm me or look at this thread...he don't have many left in that it is 100 less of the last lot
price, when LTC was 4.15 usd per LTC.....just shooting these out to get some 'street cred' he is legit...hosted most of my stuff with him for a year.

just look up maxumark as a user on bitcointalk here....check out his posts or go to the goods area for sales for the thread

probably should not put the thread here I guess Smiley off topic and all....but I thought the deal was damn slick (then again dazzled by the current $7.38 ltc price..blinding) Smiley

anyway ...placed my bet...your move Smiley

Litecoin will be getting segwit to be able to handle the lower value transfers to free up Bitcoin for the higher value ones, and perhaps as a test engine for if Bitcoin could ever utilize segwit. Irrespective of that, the long bear market in Litecoin just got turned upside down. This is what we might be starting to witness in the Litecoin ecosystem - https://www.tradingview.com/chart/LTCBTC/f54ZHTrX-Is-LTC-Really-About-to-Make-a-Huge-Run-on-BTC-EW-Analysis/
But there are other coins even more secure than litecoin that are segwit ready and active. To me it means its a sell on news.

Litecoin has a history and connections, the 2nd coin, all the others with segwit dont matter cause nobody knows what they are and they havent been around long enough to gain trust. So segwit on litecoin is a big deal imo.
That is true its first to market.. its a biggsr deal than say syscoin.. although if it cant signal fast enough since syscoin already active maybe market looks for alternatives after some threshold of time

Seems LTC on its way for a big move.. What r ur opinions?

I have sold mine but I dont know if it was a good move Smiley

I think it was a bad move. LTC should be valued at least around $20 each.

What alt coins have a hashrate higher than Litecoin (That is a different hash type then BTC)?
Not sure where ETH is on this list, but due to it having such a huge emission rate and being more about what it can do and less about money, I can't imagine viewing it in the same vein as Bitcoin, LTC, XMR, etc.
