Is it coincidental that within hours ALL of them have been *slowly* bought @0.097 and the price still remains the same?
Someone's is certainly spreading fud and wants some cheap coins... I'd buy if I were you. Wink

Yea probably some pump and dump scheme, there are many shills on this forum.

I`m not into LTC right now, but you are right, ltc could go up.

People are still mining litecoin. It is the second largest coin in terms of market capitalization. So it is still alive.

and it's the only reason why they are mining it, miners simply need an alternative to bitcoin because bitcoin is not minable by small farm anymore, with enough profit

You got that right...why I exchanged my KNC pre-order Neptune (don't do pre-orders kids its evil) back in the day on the stalls and figured they'd be late (was right) got
a NO REFUND (don't do this kids either) KNC Titan and due to the fact NO MORE scrypt machines of that size or larger came out after (and got a good deal on a panic
sell of a 2nd Titan March 2015) well..I have ROI'd and still seeing 475 usd with 13c kwh elec already taken off that 475 usd so that's profit per month... at these prices per month and difficulty is still dropping (I hope) 9% last diff adjustment ..I'm still *lucky* better then OK ..but again it is because of LTC price drop in 2015 no bigger/newer miners made
to supplant my Titans etc

so yeah IF you can find a good deal on used scrypt equipment and/or IF you have cheap as hell electric (like 4c kwh or below) and/or IF you just want a 'space heater"
at work in your cubicle for your "footsies" and can mine LTC with that old GAW 600w 25mh unit off ebay for less then 100 bucks on the companies FREE electric

YOU MAY want to get one..but from what I can tell MOST used Titans are going to places in the world from Ebay or whatever from Western Countries (with like 13c kwh electric) back to China or wherever elec is cheap asap...or so it seems (possible exception is WASHINGTON state in USA or parts of Canada with cheap Hydro power at like 4c kwh)

but hell you need a space heater for your toes at work you got all sorts of options... Smiley For mining LTC I mean Smiley

most dont mine litecoin but mine some coin that is profitable by converting to BTC in price they often change coins or mine multipool
litecoin is not dead cuz it has volume
price is small i agree but that who it is for now

Litecoin Price Intraday Analysis for 23/11/2015 – Still Capped by $3.20-30
Key Highlights
- Litecoin price continued to trade below a major pivot area of $3.20-30 (price feed from Bitfinex) and failed to move higher.
- A descending channel is now formed after the price failed to break the stated resistance area.
- It is trading near a crucial juncture, as a break below the channel support may call for another round of selling.

Litecoin price is having a tough time and may continue to trade lower as seller’s steps in to prevent gains every time buyers take it higher.

Even doge has more uses than litecoin. Litecoin is a shit coin, worth nothing. Price will collapse before the year's end.
 Mark my words.

I personally dont think the price will go lower than 8 mBTC, but that is still just a few % points. And then it can go up again.

Doge is stable no doubt, but i dont see DOGE ever going up big.

I`d still choose LTC over DOGE anytime.

DOGE's current problem is that there are too many of them (available supply is huge) thus making it a very inflationary currency. The less the supply the more the price would increase. Also, I think that even NXT and Ethereum are better than both Litecoin and Dogecoin. Just my opinion.  Roll Eyes

Actually DOGE's inflation is 6x smaller than litecoins. Yes the supply is too big that is one problem, it should be atleast 4 digits smaller.

Litecoin has bigger inflation than dogecoin, and even when next year it will halve it will still have higher inflation than doge.

I dont know, the price could move up but its very volatile.

How do you know when the next halving would come for Litecoin (or any other crypto)? How is this calculated? Still, it is possible to make profits from Litecoin due to the fact that it is volatile. This makes it pretty good for trading.  Smiley

http://litecoinblockhalf.com/

It makes good for trading, but a currency cannot be volatile if you want it to be used for mass commerce.

So from this POV, doge is much better. Now of course DOGE is a joke, with a silly name, i cannot see people using it en masse.

This is a great informative site about Litecoin's halving as well as Bitcoin's. Thanks for sharing it! And I agree with you, DOGE is better but it is mainly used for tipping due to its very cheap price.  Grin

Nope, doge is not better.

Doge is only technically better but practically its a crap and a joke. I cant see 60 year old people using "DOGE" as their currency. Maybe for 13 year olds its a fun but it wont get mainstream.

Litecoin could be good but from what I heard they struggle at this point and the volatility is just too bad and unpredictable. I take my chances with BTC it has much better support.

Dump it quickly now before its too late no real world purpose innovation dump now

This is bad advice. What do you think is going to happen to LTC on the heals of a BTC halving? Go to zero? And to say it has no real world purpose is like saying "Bitcoin has no real world purpose." It's one the only coins that has a proven purpose, all of this 2.0 nonsense won't realize applications for the next 3-5 years...

Litecoin is practically dead. Just look at it, there is no new development and no innovation at all. I think that the only thing Litecoin is good at is for trading and making some quick profit. Other than that, it is just another copy of Bitcoin.  Roll Eyes

Even though litecoin is still mined and traded, there is not much use of it apart from as a trading tool. People want to get rich with litecoin, but there is no actual use of it to buy goods.
