I think we should aim for NEO. It is a very wonderful altcoin founded by a Chinese. The technology of our country is growing rapidly, we should trust in China's advanced technology and business strategies of NEO. I believe that after 2 years China will become a great power and NEO price will exceed $ 300.

Long term investment are always better than short. There are so many factors involved like high risk, volatility, news etc.

I totally agree with you ethereum is the next big thing after bitcoin. A lot of people are investing on ETh because of its potential to get a higher price in the future and also their platformis being used by so many projects so its safe and can be trusted.
For long term investment, i would choose to invest into an ICO or in a new ICO. But you should study the possibility of success of the ICO and also see if it is a scam or not.At the start of trading of an ICO, a lot of them are going to see a drop of their price. It is sometimes better to wait and buy the coins/tokens on an exchange. Not all ICO is like this, but lots of them.

In my opinion, I will suggest that you buy bitcoin, ethereum, neo and litecoin because they are very good coin to buy and hold for long term especially now that the price is low and you can sell when the price is very high and make reasonable profit.

I would buy more Ethereum right now and keep it for longer as well. Given that ETH is currently so much oversold, it has great potential for both short term and long term trading action. Short term looks good because it is oversold while long term also looks good because ETH is an extremely innovative coin with a real world solution to real world problems. I'd buy as much as I can while it's still valued so low.
People always say ether or bitcoin, but if you want something riskier. Invest on NEO (will be a big year with a number of ICOs on the horizon, and could be humongous if China comes back to the table), REQ (touted as the next PayPal, test product looks great, ahead of roadmap and big updates coming in 2018), LINK (connecting Blockchain to the commercial world, with the potential for some huge partnerships to be announced. SWIFT), OMG (IMO one of the cryptos with the biggest potential, but progress has been slow, although they have announced details of staking for Q1 of next year), and finally QSP (it isn't sexy but they're aiming to be the smart contract auditor of choice, and I have no doubt from what I've seen since the ICO a couple of months ago that they can do that in the next few years).
Bitcoin of course. Don't underestimate the King of crypto. Better techs will come up and go, but the brand name of Bitcoin will be eternal.
I agree but I would also add Ethereum to the mix. Ethereum will stay up at the number 2 spot right next to bitcoin and I doubt it will go away.
