I have never hesitated with BTC, NEO, LTC, and ETH. They are coins that must be purchased and the four are very worth invested especially long-term investments in addition to the large inventory their popularity is very good in crypto market.

The best opportunity is to find a privacy-related project with a low total supply (less than 100M), that way the price will be increasing much faster.

If eth is more logical for trading now because Eth movements are more flexible with the market, but if for holding, bitcoin is more promising in 2018.

For me, isn't a good idea to have a long term investment cause crypto market today seems to be on high volatile compared before. For the reason also that there is a lot of created coins that could really affect the flow and make other coins by becoming dead. Of course, investors may look for new one not by those coins that are already left behind the wall.
my longterm picks are: neo, Vechain and Deeponion.
Right now, my main long term hold coin would have to be ethereum. I believe it will continue to rise in value, and I also believe it is not going anywhere anytime soon. It's a coin I just let sit, and don't bother looking too often at the day to day fluctuations in price.

For me VeChain is a great long termer. It has such a wide variety of blockchain use cases that I can't see it not being a dominant figure when the market comes to maturation. VEN is for real.
I think the NEO will be as big as ETH. NEO has its own foundation and not after it is Chinese

From my opinion eth can be a long tearm investment. Because eth is the best coin after btc I think and it's growing superbly.

The number one that on your list to invest is Bitcoin, that have a great potential and surely you will get a big profit good for long term investment. And for altcoins Ethereum, Ripple, Neo and Litecoin is also good for long term but think of it before you put on your investment.
