The longest break I had was only 9 months,

I had my personal reason that time and I highly focused myself only with my work and nothing more. At first I feel uneasy since I suddenly stoped gambling, it is my habit before but since I have decided to stop I take a long break from gambling.

Right now, I am back again with my ol md hobby...

9 months is a long time! How did you not manage to leave it totally lol? It's understandable if it was just your hobby and not permanent type of addictions as those are really hard to get rid of haha.
I don't think anyone has gambling as a hobby. Even if it is taken up as hobby it will soon turn into an addiction according to me.
Being away from gambling is easy if something else in your life is interesting and if you are busy in that.

My longest break in gambling is probably 1-2 months when i usually busy from work, and sometimes i don't feel playing in gambling sites or at the casino because i feel i won't win or don't have any luck on that day in gambling, that is why i rather choose to take a break and rest for a while.
Yes, being busy at work does force me at times to almost stop all the entertainment like movies, etc but actually my longest break shouldn't be too long as I myself cannot recall it, being gambling online makes it so easy that when I am doing nothing in night time I often open my mobile and play dice for fun. If even I am broke and spent all the allocated funds for gambling, I would actually claim faucets and have fun. I would say my longest break was 20-25 days when I was in hospital for someone close to me meeting an accident unfortunately and I could not even think of anything during that time let alone gambling or any sort of entertainment

By the way, this is since the last year or so because before that I didn't used to gamble too much so I would have huge gaps earlier but after being a regular gambler I guess 25 days is the maximum I have been away from gambling.

That is good for you because you did not play gambling in 1 month , sometimes they have time that we can't play because the place we go there is no internet connection. But actually we really want to pkay but we don't have choice because there is no way for us to gambling when I take vacation before in Island for almost 1 week only but after I return on that day I play and I miss gambling.
Having a break in gambling also necessary, even those popular gamblers also take some vacation from gambling to spend time and enjoy with their love ones. As a gambler, it's not good if we do it on a daily basis, we are not robot, we have our needs and we also have to mingle with other people, that way we will minimize the risk of getting addicted in gambling.

Im just curious how much do you earn in gambling in a daily basis ?
That's not a good question, I don't know why people expect that gamblers earn on a daily basis, we need to cut that false belief, even the gambling sites which has the advantage does not earn on a daily basis, how much more the gamblers who are just betting on luck.

There are gamblers who are successful but they don't need to earn on a daily basis as it's impossible, they just have more wins than loses.
But, unfortunately that's the truth that some guys still believe that there are gamblers who earn money on regular basis from gambling which to me sounds really idiotic and doesn't make sense either. The best someone can do at gambling is follow a particular sports tipster and just bet as they give picks and maintain some profit but even that is not possible because there is not even a single tipster who can guarantee you profits.

9 months is a long time! How did you not manage to leave it totally lol? It's understandable if it was just your hobby and not permanent type of addictions as those are really hard to get rid of haha.
I was wondering the same because 9 months is almost like quitting gambling and then getting back to it again because you cannot call 270 days of no gambling as a break at all.

Compared to OP I like to gamble when I am on holiday. I am sort of trying my luck in a new country, it adds to the excitement. I just recently came back from a holiday where I did some gambling, but before that I took a 2 weeks break due to work and other commitments that were more important.

It's hard to take a break from gambling if it's become a habit, what's your Longest Break You Have On Not Gambling, in my case my longest days of break from gambling is 30 days when I take a vacation from a place when there are no casinos, and no internet connection.

Congrats. It's quite a long time of being not involved into gambling especially if you're addicted to it and it feels like your day is incomplete without gambling. Luckily, I am not addicted to gambling. I don't really mind if do not gamble in a year or more. One reason I am not an addict to gambling is I grew up without having a lot of money. My parents only give me school allowance and that allowance is good for 1 day only so I have no money to be used.

Honestly , i can manage to not play any gambling site  or physical gambling even a year .
Its depends on the persons and what you think is more important than your addiction .
All do i really enjoy to play but i need to more focus on my priority than things that can enjoy only by my self.
I wish everyone has that kind of discipline you have, that would make you risk-free when gambling.
I believe there are only few who are really getting easily addicted and since people now are smarter, they'll easily learn from their mistakes since they can read some advise online and they'll be more aware of their real chances in gambling.

The thing that would make us addicted is when we are not fully educated with our chances, we like to challenge ourselves without knowing we can't beat the house edge and with lack of control on our emotion, that would push us to a more risky situation.

Maybe a week or a month. It is depends on the money i earn and my tine.
If i have spare money to gamble then i will play but if i don't have then i will wait until my next income.
Op is not asking if "How long you can stand not playing gambling" instead the question is about How long you have you Make a  break in Gambling.
Honestly , i can manage to not play any gambling site  or physical gambling even a year .
Its depends on the persons and what you think is more important than your addiction .
All do i really enjoy to play but i need to more focus on my priority than things that can enjoy only by my self.
just like what i have quoted above the question is about the 'Longest time you did not play' and not about your capacity not to gamble.

I think my longest break on staying away from gambling is about 2 months.
The last time that gamble was Feb 23 this year I am planning to stay away for good now but I know it would be hard.
So I would just start by limiting my deposit and lessen the money that I would send.

You can try to stay away from gambling after you can limiting your deposit and reduces your time in gambling. For example, in a week, you can play gambling for two or three times a week, and you do that for a month. And in the next month, you can reduce the time for a month, and then you can stay away from gambling in the first week in the next month. If you can do that, I think you can feel happy that you are not addicted to gambling, and that means you can leave gambling anytime you want.

Mine was, I think 1-2months. That is the time when I decided to stop on gambling and I realize that as long as I can control myself, I will not gonna have any problem with it, so today I am back as a a gambler LOL haha. And constantly I am taking a week-month of break if I lose so, that I can remind myself that I can quit anytime and If needed I can do it. Usually If I win, I will just continue on playing and after I lose that is the time that I am going to stop for a while. So yeah, for me 2 months is the longest break.

From the last 6 months I have not bet and that was the longest break I have taken but it wasn't a conscious decision as I didn't want to take a break , something came up in life and I had to take break .

Can someone who is addicted take a long break?
Yes. I am an example . Just we have to look for something else in our life which excites us and distracts us from gambling .

There are gamblers who are successful but they don't need to earn on a daily basis as it's impossible, they just have more wins than loses.
Gambling is different from investing and trading because, engaging with it means much greater risk. Yes, you could win big and become a millionaire in an instant from it but, also the opposite. Gambling can make you rich and poor much faster than trading and investing. That is why people can't measure a gamblers income in a daily basis because, their income is not fixed everyday means, they don't win everyday, sometimes they win big in the other day but, later days they could lose. Their is a time where gamblers wins and a time where they always lose.

If you have still no experience from it, you should bet small amount only and focus first in learning and gaining experience in gambling rather than, already wanting to have big gains. Think small, win big.

Much better than forcing yourself and lose your money, gambling both for entertaining or for money matters added enjoyment when you feeling good
while playing your favorite games, taking a break short or long would be beneficial in order to gained back your confidence and the entertaining part of
this activities.

Gambling is a risky way of earning and possible on the day you play is you are going to lose.
Don't expect to the gambling that you can earn daily because possible evertything like maybe you win or your lose or your capital is still remain.

Because in my perspective people get addicted in gambling when they always win. Im not into gambling that much i sometimes play from time to time but i can control myself whether winning or losing streak and whenever i play its only in sports betting because the odds of winning are higher because there's logic behind it not unlike dice game.

~
9 months ONLY?? I assume that you are gambling most of the time because you said only on a time that is quite a long time already Cheesy.

Anyway, if it is your hobby already and as long as you are not affecting other people while you are gambling then it is still ok. Just gamble with moderation. I assume that you are a rich gambler so you might change your name from "DabsPoorVersion" to "DabsRichVersion". Cheesy Kidding.

I haven't gamble for a long time already because of my priorities like my expenses here and the things that I like to buy too.
