Haha that shit really looked fixed to me. 3 balls and 1 run with two okayish batsmen in the middle. It was actually unexpected and no one thought match would go for superover. Moreover the second mistake of KXIP was not coming up with Mayank Aggarwal in the Super Over. That man was in such a good touch and well settled and would have hit a few runs unlike Rahul, Maxwell and Pooran. All three of them failed miserably in the match there was no point in three of them coming together to bet.

I can't really trust any of these matches. After all, a few years back two of the franchisee owners were caught for match-fixing (they were let off with very lenient punishments because one of the franchises were owned by N Srinivasan). But this particular match looked OK. Even if they want to fix the match, would they wait till the last 3 balls to do that? But agreed that KXIP should have sent in Mayank Aggarwal. That was a big blunder from their part.
Captain prefers big hitters for the super overs so we can't say this is a match fixing.

It seems players are struggling with hot weather condition in the UAE, anyone noticed that? Because at the beginning scores started to rain in the beginning but after a while it looks too hard to score the runs.

Yeah that can be an issue the weather at this time is of the year is pretty hot their but, it can be also be the pitch.

I do not think matches are being fixed and why will the player or the franchise indulge in it they know what will happen if they are caught.

Why can't the umpires go towards the third umpire to check if it was a short run or not. The margin was very little and a wrong decision at that time could have changed the direction of the match in the favor of other team.

Agreed. Nowadays no-balls are being called by the third umpire, with the help from technology. So I don't understand why the field umpires need to take the decision regarding short run. But all that said, KXIP have only themselves to blame. With just one run needed from three balls, their batsmen threw away their wickets aiming for big shots. Mayank Agarwal could have taken a single of the 4th ball from the 20th over, but he wanted to finish the match by hitting a boundary.

Well KXIP cost me my live in-play bet as I was confident they would win just needing 1 run from 3 balls but it wasn't to be. I'm new to betting on the IPL and I wanted to try a game that looked good for a win but it goes to show even with 3 balls left and to get 1 run isn't a certainty.

These last minute excitements is why people are attracted towards this format. This is going to be one of the memorable turn of events in cricket sporting history and be remembered. Though a couple of games would not determine which teams are more balanced and fit, with a round of matches, we can have better guesses on which team would have better probability of wining the match.

T20 matches have the reputation of uncertainty till the end and that is why every cricket lover wants to watch it. This kind of excitement rarely happen in other formats of cricket. You still have other games left to bet in order to regain your losses.

Live in play bets are best in IPL as majority of games are unpredictable (Its true for any T-20 game). You never know what would happen in next over and odds shoots upwards or fall down dramatically.
I bet on live in play every time when it comes to T-20 so i would suggest the same.
I would like to place a bet on IPL but the problem is i am not able to watch the matches live, is there any free streaming services to watch the match, i think i have to shell out money to watch the IPL as i cannot find any channels that displays the match.

I am watching the highlights but it is not good in placing a bet and i am also watching the odds changing drastically as all the matches are really close from what i see from the scores.
Though there are a lot of live streaming site stream IPL but i think Youtube (Rabbitholebd Sports) is the best way to enjoy IPL for free.
You can enjoy IPL Live very easily from here : https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCNU0Vv6U1xZS82cIQrgDeqw

SRH needs 37 from 4 overs, with 6 wickets in hand. It is looking extremely tight out there. SRH was cruising nicely, before a single over from Yuzvendra Chahal turned the tables upside down. But Chahal has bowled out his overs and Kohli needs to go back to his quicker bowlers now. Umesh was extremely expensive, while Dube is very inexperienced. So the task now falls on Saini and Steyn.
It's pretty shameful for SRH the way they have lost wicket towards the end. They are once again displaying that only strength that they have is Warner and Bairstow/Williamson and the rest of the team is going to play the way they have always played. RCB on the other hand need to find who they want as their frontline seamer to bowl in death overs. Dale Steyn no matter how big his name is has performed pretty badly in IPL especially in death overs. I think Chris Morris would be a better option to keep in the side or maybe they can try Navdeep Saini in the death because Umesh Yadav is definitely a big failure in death overs.

Today we have another exciting match, as Sunrisers Hyderabad is taking on the Royal Challengers Bangalore. T20 stars such as Aaron Finch, Virat Kohli, Jonny Bairstow and David Warner will be in action for the first time. Last year, the RCB finished at the bottom of the table. Let's see whether they will get a good start this time or not (I have made a bet in favor of RCB).

Thinking about putting my money on Sunrisers Hyderabad today. Whatever will be the result but the match will be good as both teams have issues.
I think  that RCB will win tonight's match . SRH have Warner and Bairstow . Both are great players with some awesome skills . On the other hand RCB have Finch , Kohli and AB de Villiers . I think RCB's batting lineup is much better than SRH .  I'm putting my money on RCB Roll Eyes Roll Eyes  . let's see who will win the match  Grin Grin

You can look at odds of the match to further convince that RCB should win this match.

RCB made 163 runs only and Sunrisers Hyderabad can chase this if they do not lose early wickets. Sunrisers Hyderabad still have the chance in the match and i don't under why the odds do not reflect this ?

The result once again shows how close these T20 matches can be. A single misfield or a dropped catch can cost you the match. The so called death bowling specialist (Chris Jordan) went for 28 runs in one over. Kings XI Punjab is still not happy with the short-run call in the 19th over. They claim that they could have won the match without it. I checked the replay, and at the most it was a 50/50 decision. I would rather side with the umpire here.

As I have previously said in here, I don't know much about the IPL however this year I am looking to place some bets on the games. My question is for the ones that do bet on the IPL, is it best to bet live in-play? The sportsbook AceDBets that I use will hopefully have live in-play betting as I do like to try it out and see how I go.
Live in play bets are best in IPL as majority of games are unpredictable (Its true for any T-20 game). You never know what would happen in next over and odds shoots upwards or fall down dramatically.

Yesterday in CSK vs MI game odds started with @1.65 (MI) and @2.65 (CSK) by the end of the first inning odds for both team were same (@1.85) but in second inning, after 2 quick wickets CSK odds went up close to @3.85.

I bet on live in play every time when it comes to T-20 so i would suggest the same.

Thank you my friend, I think for the first week I'll study the games and teams and then start betting live in-play. Yeah I see the odds are sometimes better during the match on early favourites so I think that's what I'll do and bet live as we can get some better value then betting at the start.

Yesss...Delhi won the match and I won the bet Cheesy

The super over seems a boring one with 2 wickets for 2 runs. Punjab did not take advantage of this over at all and Delhi won easily. Can understand the pressure though.

I am happy for you that you won the bet in the end.  Smiley
The match was really a thriller except the super over. Anyways super over is just a luck and Delhi turned out to be more lucky team today.

I have never seen such a match in the IPL history  Huh. It remind me the match between IND and Bangladesh. 1 run from 3 balls, how can a side end-up not winning the match. All the hard work done by Agarwal went to vain. In super over they produced only 2 run !!
