Therefore, Avulus takes the other spot going to ESL Bangkok together with OG.

Avulus totally deserved this, they were way better than the other teams there except for Liquid
I agree, I've been betting on them with the past tournaments and it's not that too consistent at all but happy to see them make it.

With some roster shuffles today, Talon Esports have announced the release of their coach - Pieliedie and their position 1 player - Akashi.

Ended up as a loss though. I would have stick with just moneyline if bookies offered around 1.5x but it was 1.3x odds for Gauzo to win hence I decided to pick -1.5 map for Gauzo. I thought they could atleast handle that since its bo5
I took them too and like you've said they're so favored I had to parlay it with Aurora to get better odds. Sadly, my bet didn't make it with Aurora getting reverse swept by Boom in the SEA grand finals.  Tongue

Avulus really deserved to qualify over OG but I do feel bad for 23Savage as the went from a really good team of Aurora to try his luck with OG who is not in a great shape for quite some time now.
Avulus formed the better lineups in the final series and OG thought they could play the scaling game with Alchemist and Storm Spirit.

I had my hopes up and thought that was the moment for OG to snag the second qualifier spot since they surprised us by beating Tundra and Gaimin Gladiators in the lower bracket.

Speaking of top teams, my bet on Gauzo lost  Roll Eyes. Too bad that XG managed to win the 1st map. Well I guess I'll try again on the grand final of CN qualifiers
Gauzo is looking solid even though they drop a map against Xtreme Gaming. I might take them later today in the grand finals if the odds are close to a coin flip.

I said I'd take them again and I actually did  Smiley

The other match going on I am watching is Boom Esports up against Aurora Gaming and that one is a close one on the 5th map to their Southeast Asia Closed Qualifier in the ESL One Bangkok series.

I didnt watch this one but I just checked on liquipedia though. Solid come back from Boom Esport after losing 2 maps. Its pretty hard to get a come back like that after losing 2 in a row

The most surprising for me was the fact that 1WIN was defeated by PuckChamp 3-0 in Bo5 grand final and the odds for 1win was about 1.3 to win the map and 1.45 to win the series  Grin Grin Grin. I think the odds for PuckChamp tp win 3-0 the series was more than 10 for sure.

Watching Gaimin at the moment trying to make a comeback against OG but I think they are done.
Gaimin Gladiators lost against OG and then OG lost against Avulus. Therefore, Avulus takes the other spot going to ESL Bangkok together with OG. Oh well, I have doubted Team Liquid but congrats to them.

This is a crazy match, Aurora took 2-0 first but then they've been reversed swept by Boom Esports into 3-2.  Undecided

When I placed the bet they were the favorites but then I checked back just before the game started and they were suddenly the underdogs by a wide margin.
Even for these BO3 tournaments are difficult to predict for dota2.

Yeah some big teams that you are familiar with like GG actually has been playing with new roster , 1 new player to be exact and that changes alot of things. Gotta keep watching the full match to get a grisp on what teams that are actually favourites to win right now. Aside from Falcons that dominate most of their games, all the other top teams are currently getting like 50 50 chance when they face off against each other

Had a bet on Gaimin Gladiators yesterday when they went up against Team Liquid.
Thought it was going to be competitive but the Gladiators just destroyed them on every map they played.
It was just a massacre, so not competitive one bit.
They had the same issue during the DreamLeague whenever they faced a team that knows when to take the early tempo like Team Liquid, their synergy quickly falls apart unlike with the weaker teams where they have more breathing room to work around.

Avulus made it tough for Team Liquid, but they still got the sweep with their nice drafts. They gave away the Terrorblade offlane twice in a row, it's so annoying to play against with the constant illusion push plus the reflection spam.

At least you bounced back with the Team Liquid bet. I would've slammed Team Liquid too if I knew they'd be playing the next series against Gaimin Gladiators.
I'll continue to ride Team Liquid's momentum for the next series as the winner secures the first slot for ESL One Bangkok. It won't be easy to sweep Avulus, but I think it's worth a shot if they don't go too crazy with the draft, unlike Tundra with the unusual Sven pick.
Thats worth a shot. Compared to Tundra, Team Liquid is way better obviously but you know its Avulus though and they could somehow win 1 map before losing to Team Liquid

Instead of focusing on  WEU region today, I guess Im going to try my shot on CN region.

Yeah Im trying my shot here. Gaozu with both Ame and papparazi on the team. This feels like watching the old PSG.LGD roster when Ame was active though

AMericas and Asian RMR is over and below teams qualified for shanghai major--

Now the much more hyped EU RMR will start on sunday with the big names all taking part  Grin Grin
The results seem to be expected for both the Asian and American RMR. I'm also excited about the EU RMR since we could see some underdogs rise to the occasion.

Speaking of Tundra and Team Liquid, both won straight 2-0 earlier today. As for GG - OG, it was 2-0 for GG as well. I lost my over 2.5 maps bet on that one

I think Im going to try again and this time Im betting on Team Liquid to boot GG to lower bracket lol. Im salty that I didnt win my 1st slip because of GG  Roll Eyes

Gosh I guess this is why Im not a fan of light mode. Dark mode FTW  Cool

My top two are Tundra and then Team Liquid because both had a decent run in the DreamLeague just before they fell short in the second group stage.

This feels like christmas huh, all those top teams playing against each other on the qualifiers lol. Normally some of them would have secured direct invitation already. EEU region is totally owning the chart right now alongside Falcons. On the other side, Nigma will have their qualifiers the easiest among all the others. They should start disbanding their team if they cant qualify though  Roll Eyes Roll Eyes
True, with all these participating teams, it's more of a minor online tournament than a regional qualifier.

My top two are Tundra and then Team Liquid because both had a decent run in the DreamLeague just before they fell short in the second group stage.

The MESWA qualifiers should be a breeze to Nigma i'll be surprised if they still can't survive against these unknown teams when all of them don't have any notable players.

If I have to pick a favourite top 2 then it would be Tundra and GG for now though. I personally think that Saberlight doesnt really fit with Team Liquid and I havent really watch any of the OG games so yeah that would be my top 2
We're on the same page but other than the two, I like to see OG gets back on the stage again with this roster that they have. I think they have a stronger roster this time so we will see.

Sadly, only four teams got the direct invite through EPT points. They're the Parivision, Team Spirit, BetBoom and Team Falcons. As for Nigma, the only top tier in the MESWA region, I don't think that they're confident that they'd get it because every unknown team now can beat the old geezers.

Alright, all regions now in Dota 2 are going to start in the Upper Bracket Quarter Finals for the qualification in the ESL One Bangkok Thailand. I'll just give one interesting region out there and that's the Western Europe Qualifiers. 2 slots for them.

GL to all the bets later.
