I think what Messi has achieved with Inter Miami is remarkable, some may say that this league is easier than the European Leagues he used to play before but I will say that still scoring 10 goals in just 7 games and scoring quite some beautiful goals means that Messi has returned to good football. At this point I have no doubt that most likely Inter Miami is going to win the title there in the MLS while I think PSG is a long gone forgotten memory by Messi.Of course his family feels better too in USA as USA is North America and they come from South America so most likely the lifestyle difference is not that big especially in Miami which is populated by South Americans a lot.
In just a short time, he and his team-mates gave the club a title that had never been taken into account by other clubs because they always performed poorly.
Inter Miami won the title, and Messi won 2 personal titles as the top scorer and as the best player in this competition.

I feel so bad for other footballers. Messi really makes this thing look very easy. He doesn't it effortless well and he's so good at it. Researchers should conduct a research to fimd out if there is a super gene that makes a person a start footballer. Messi should definitely be one of the subjects. He has made history with every club he's been in. And this is not even about the clubs having start players even with average players, once he gets there they become stars. I don't know what is left for him to win anymore. He is the greatest of the great.
He's a great player and there's no doubt about it, it looks easy for him but of course not because every success requires hard work but we don't see every hard work he put into achieving it.
He was teased when he decided to go to Inter Miami because this club is weak, but he managed to answer his decision well, and it seems like he's just trying to keep playing not looking for popularity anymore but that's what he still gets in MLS without having to do controversy.

The comfort that Messi feels is reflected in his football. He has scored many goals in his little stay in this new league, and the goals were not all penalties or easy goals to score, but world class goals to show his worth and defend his status as the most talented and decorated football player ever. His success already in the league will make more people fall in love with him and with the sport. Congratulations to him and the entire the entire Inter Maimi team that suddenly improved in their game to complement Messi. This is the first of many trophies to be celebrated by the club with Lionel Messi.

It has definitely been a great performance from Lionel Messi so far. The best thing about him as a player is he knows the limitations of his body. Unlike Cristiano Ronaldo, he knows that he does not have the same physical abilities that he had before. So he relies on his game plan and captaincy to make the team win instead of his physical abilities.

But I still have to say that his physical ability is still pretty good. If we look at Cristiano Ronaldo, we will see him tripping over and falling is trying to do stepovers that he did when he was really young and in his prime as well. That is not the case with Lionel Messi. Ronaldo did perform really well even at 37. At 38, the physical ability of Cristiano Ronaldo started to go down.

Let’s see what happens when Lionel Messi hits 38. but it is undeniable that he has taken the Inter-Miami club from absolutely bottom of the table to something which made them believe that they can finish at the top of the table.

Lionel Messi continues his streak of achievements after winning the World Cup in Qatar. However, he didn't gain much of a reputation during his time at PSG as he didn't contribute much to the crowd of stars at PSG. But after joining the MLS, Lionel Messi's streak of winning and scoring goals has continued. Lionel Messi participated in seven matches in the League Cup 2023 tournament and scored a total of ten goals, winning every match and becoming unbeaten champions. Since the arrival of Lionel Messi, Inter Miami has become known as a new team. It was Lionel Messi who brought David Beckham's lackluster club back to life in football. A Messi's contribution to balancing a club as a whole will be truly memorable. It is hoped that Lionel Messi will contribute better in the coming days and bring joy to his millions of fans.

Helping Inter Miami win their first trophy is a great achievement for the Argentine superstar who has always been successful wherever he goes. Another great gesture from Lionel Messi that really caught my attention in that competition was to give the captain arm band back to the club captain so he can feel and enjoy the moment of lifting a trophy for the club since he started playing for the club. Once again Lionel Messi has proven that he's one of the greatest to have ever graced the beautiful game of football

Messi again making look all easy and achievable for everyone.

Aside of football, he seems much happier than before in PSG, also he said this and his family seems much happier, and we already know what he can achieve in a good mood.

Am surprised that Messi who only just arrived already won trophy and top scorer and best player in just 7games.
It is truly remarkable the achievement he has gotten, and who would have thought that his decision to play for the American side would pay off this big.
Am sure he is going to do better in a new season even as he would be gearing off to retirement.
The MLS League is child's play for a pro like him, and am sure his move to America is more than just for football reasons too.

Here we go again: the greatest of all time, Lionel Messi, has done it again to lift the league cup trophy with Inter Miami. Lionel Messi has opened the scoring, leading after just 23 minutes of the first half. In the second half, Nashville winger F. Picault equalized in 57 minutes to send the game into a penalty shootout. It ended in a tie at 1-1. In the shootout, Nashville goalkeeper Elliot Panicco missed the final kick of the night to deliver Inter Miami their first trophy.
44 career trophies for Lionel Messi—it is just inseparable that trophy was made for him. The seven-time Ballon d'Or winner scored 10 goals in seven games. I love to see that Lionel Messi was named player of the tournament and top scorer of the tournament.

It shouldn't be about "MLS vs SL" because that one makes no sense, it's different type of countries and means nothing to compare them for the footballer. We need to realize that both Ronaldo and Messi "retired" already, they are not officially retired and still playing in useless leagues, but they are both not in a competitive place like they used to be.

These are the guys who won like 12-13 Ballon D'ors together, and the period when Messi was at Barcelona and Ronaldo was at Real Madrid were the times that were the greatest and we had so much fun watching them. I would say consider Ronaldo leaving United and Messi leaving PSG were the retirements and compare the two that way. They both are playing in child's leagues now, doesn't matter which one is better now, it's already over.

Too me what Saudi league did was way beyond what MLS did. Saudi league bought so many superstars and their league now is by miles better then MLS. In the MLS only Inter Miami bought all ex barcelona players. Other teams didnt buy anyone so this are very different leagues by quality.
I wonder why fans would keep comparing them even while they're in inferior leagues where they're playing their retirement games they've had their time and now is the time for them to play for fun and add more funds to their pockets so I don't see any reasons for comparism, and I'm glad Messi choose to move to the MLS over the SPL if not fans would had bring up the rivalry they had when the were in Spain and forcing two old men to over perform just to prove something that's not worth it and to be honest the comparism between both is over, maybe fans should switch to other players like Mbappe and Haaland.
Both Saudi and MLS are inferior leagues where most european players move for retirements but the SPL has more funds and is using that as an advantage to lure, younger and talented players who are in quest for more money, that's why they were able to get a good number of players across Europe and in future it would help turn them into one of the best leagues in the world if they become consisten with competitiveness and more recruitment of quality European players and not end up like the Chinese league.

Philadelphia Vs Monterey (3:0)

Philadelphia and Monterrey participate in the third place match of today's League Cup series. Although the third place match was supposed to be very competitive, Monterrey did not have a competitive attack against Philadelphia, especially when they lost control of the game with a goal by JDB .Anez within a minute of the game and then they did not play attacking football. So lost 3-0 in the third place match today.
Monterrey had most of the ball in this game but they could not get short on target. Had just one shot on target all game but Philadelphia couldn't dominate today's game as they had more than nine shots on target and managed to find the ball in the back of the net three times.

You're right,to say ESPN is posting it, It's not same ESPN that's known as Messi media house? No doubt Messi is playing in a league that's easy for him, he struggled in League one with world class stars and now he's performing well in unrecognized league full of players that are not even in top 1000 players in the world.

Messi arrival as not brought any much influence to the league,as Ronaldo to Saudi Arabia pro league. As of today, people only talk about only two leagues, the premier league and Saudi Arabia pro league, that's what you will hear daily on people's lips across the world.

Messi should be able to influence stars players to the league, just as Ronaldo is doing in the desert.

Tell me that you hate Messi without telling me directly, that's what you did just displayed. Ronaldo fans are good at picking fault on anything successful, they will celebrate because Ronaldo won Saudi Arabia cup but would say Messi World Cup was rigged even when we all see the extra ordinary performance he put up to defeat France. Haven't completed that, PSG was a failure for their own mistakes even when Messi tried to help them and now that he his finally happy in Inter Miami, Ronaldo fans are not happy about it and that's exactly what we need, we need their tears. Grin

ESPN is doing every job they do for other players, didn't you see how they posted Manchester City yesterday when they won the Super Cup, that's what they do, they celebrate winners and Messi been the greatest of all time that he his, you have to learn to accept the celebration anytime he scored goal. You should be prepared to celebrate another goal very soon because that Major League trophy belongs to Inter Miami. Cheesy

I watched the highlight of the game and based on my judgment the US Major League Soccer is more entertaining than the Saudi Professional League. The US league has developed over time and the SPL is just coming up. In terms of administration, the US is far better than its Saudi counterpart. Messi is just an extraordinary player and the US league has similar features to Europe, these factors have contributed to his outstanding performance. Messi has scored 9 goals in 6 games and some of them are top-class. His magical free-kick and his current stunning strike from 35 yards are all evidence of his class.

It is too early to compare the influence of both players to their different leagues. Ronaldo has been in the Saudi league for more than one year and Messi is just a few months old in the US. But from the little we have seen, Messi's impact will be greater. He has changed the fortune of a low-classed team overnight and now Inter Miami has reached their first-ever finals and which has given them an automatic ticket to the next CONCACAF Cup. The signing of Messi, Busquets, and Alba is a wonderful combination that is bringing the desired results.
Great, that was the best impression for Inter Miami after they managed to bring 3 Barcelona retainers for free to their team. Inter Miami is no longer what it was in previous seasons with this 3 star player, and Messi has really changed a lot of views around him in a short period of time. Inter Miami's investment in top players like Messi, Alba and Busquets is paying off, which is great for them.

To be honest I want to look forward to the final because of the Messi factor, but I hope it's not a disappointing game for most of his fans around the world. Messi's impact on Inter Miami's victory has been incredible, even since his first game.

This is definitely true and I am a huge fan of Messi and have been for a long time, but I would not draw a comparison between the two based on the two leagues they are now playing in. If Messi scores 30 goals a season and Ronaldo scores 20 goals or 40 goals, there is really not much to be made out of that which doesn't lack substance. Messi is doing amazing in the MLS and I saw some of the action and it was still the Messi he has always been, but it is not the same opponents there. There is one thing that will always be unique to Messi no matter which league he plays is and that is his sniper precision at free kicks.

Inter Miami Vs Philadelphia (4:1)

Congratulations Miami for reaching Leagues Cup Final.

Messi's team seemed unstoppable, Inter Miami continued their winning streak in every match of the League Cup and today they beat a strong team like Philadelphia 4-1 to reach the final.
The League Cup 2023 will end with the final on August 19. However, in the League Cup final, Messi's Inter Miami is the most likely to be the champion because after Messi's inclusion in the team, Messi's Inter Miami seems to have forgotten defeat.

Messi makes all the difference. He wins no matter where he goes.
Lionel Messi has guided Inter Miami to the Leagues Cup Final. Every after match, Inter Miami is becoming big club. Even though the club was at the bottom of the league standings, Messi has turned things around after his arrival. Now, they're on their way to lift the Leagues Cup trophy for the first time in their history.

Since Messi arrival in Inter Miami, there story changed overnight and it's now that I think their mission and vision is working and Messi contributions is one of the best thing to ever happen to not just Inter Miami FC but Major soccer League entirely because anytime they had Major soccer League, Inter Miami FC is the only team that does capture attention of ESPN handles and other European social media's that post about the club for the world to see what Messi is doing in United States of America. Why wouldn't they love him more when he had 6 games appearance and all won with at least a goal in each of the match, that guy remain GOAT till he retired, no argument about it.

A single famous player can transform a whole team's performance in league games and elite competitions. We're talking about Leo Messi, the best player in the world by any type of measure. He is leading Inter Miami to their first-ever final, which would have been incomprehensible for most players. Inter Miami's recruitment of Leo Messi was one of their most essential and fruitful selections. Leo Messi is the indisputable football GOAT. He weighs more than his opponents since he has lifted the only prize that most competitive players have failed to lift throughout the years.
