Messi has done it, however, there is a lot of gossip going on around about Messi and the league, and I kind of agree with some of the arguments. Messi is a world-class player, there is absolutely no doubt about that, but, the quality of football and players isn't really that high in MLS which might have contributed towards the win for Inter Miami FC led by Messi.

There is nothing Messi is doing in the MLS that he has not done in the top level of football. The UCL, La Liga, Copa America, and even the Almighty World Cup.
Saying Messi is only doing this because of his weak opponents is BS. December last year he led his team to win the World Cup, Are we saying the quality of football in the World Cup is also low?

Messi has faced the best of players and he still camp up on top of them. He has proved over and over again that the player he's facing doesn't matter. He's been doing this from a very young age.
It's very easy for a team to be better because of Lionel Messi. He's a player who scores goals, creates goals, assists goals, and controls the game from both midfield and attack. Above all these, he inspired his teammates. Look at how the players of Miami who could not win a match in how many matches turn into prime Barcelona players.

Other top players from Europe have gone to the MLS and Saudi league where the quality of football is relatively lower, none of them have been able to do what Messi is doing with Miami. That should tell you that it's not the quality of football that's the chest code, Messi is the cheat code.

Messi again making look all easy and achievable for everyone.
Aside of football, he seems much happier than before in PSG, also he said this and his family seems much happier, and we already know what he can achieve in a good mood.
Reminds me of a fictional football club in that tv show about a football team who gets by chance the biggest player in the world to sign with their team and they rocket from last place of the table all the way to the top three.
If Messi can get this Inter Miami team from the rest of the season to winning the championship at the end, it would be a story made of such things from fiction.
From what I've seen so far in the captivating performance of Lionel Messi since he moved to the Major League Soccer, I think it's safe to say that the end to his footballing career isn't as near as most of us has initially thought of the player.
Scoring those numerous number of goals in very few matches is a testament that the Argentine superstar still has a long way to go in his football and would definitely break many more goalscoring records. What a phenomenal player he is...

There are only two big names in football everyone would easily recognized. Cristiano Ronaldo and Leo Messi, perhaps their era in European football have ended. We watched them played against each other for years and winning significant trophies. Leo Messi is a big positive influence on Major League Soccer. It's amazing how the league evolved round and rising to popularity race only this season. Inter Miami signing Leo Messi was one of the best signings in the club's history and winning their first league trophy this season, it's all clear message that Leo Messi is the GOAT.
Messi has shown how important his role is in the match played by Inter Miami and one big hope that might be focused on will lift Inter miami from the bottom of the standings because currently Inter Miami is still sitting at the bottom of the standings. I think Messi is a figure that is really admired by other players in MLS because every game ends there are always opposing players who meet him just to take pictures or ask for Jersey.

So, we'll see today's match between Cincinnati vs Inter Miami in the US open cup. I think Inter Miami can win this match because messi is in his best form because he always scores goals in every game he has played.

His skills are unmatchable, so whenever he is on the field, it almost feels like it is all fictional and what he does isn't real. That is probably the reason why he has got such a huge fan following all around the globe that anywhere he goes, he is welcomed with open arms by the audience.

Some fan base are toxic, delusional and ridiculus especially anti Messi fans, I don't understand why they will hate someone because he is naturally born to do greatness, we all have a calling and there are some people that can do the same thing with consistent hard work but Messi is not like that, he is just the person he is without comaparism, this is why Adidas respect him the more to other players and more humble than anything, the gesture he did by giving the captain hand band to Yedin to make him feel comfortable and lifted the trophy together, who does that like him in the history of football.

They can say MLS is scripted but it doesn't stop Messi from his achievement, he has more than 2 years to play for the club and that means he will bring home more trophies to his gallery, nobody can stop that unless he his not happy but we all have observed the characters he displayed for his kids in every of the game scored, that is the former Barcelona player we miss and he is back again.
The problem with "messi vs ronaldo" fanbase is that we are forgetting to watch two of the greatest players alive. I mean when they were both at their prime, I watched them both and had fun with both, I didn't felt the need to root for one of them and dislike the other. That's what people are missing, you could just like them both and enjoy watching them both at the same time as well.

I get that it will not be simple, but if you keep on watching them both even at this age, you will see that you will have more fun. The fact that fans of one of them needs to hate the other never made sense to me, just because you like Ronaldo doesn't mean you have to hate Messi, or vice versa. You could enjoy both of them and that will make you have more fun.

It seems, since Messi played at Inter Miami it really greatly improved the performance and quality of Inter Miami. Because from the existing records too, that Inter Miami has always managed to win since Messi played in this team. Moreover, Inter Miami also managed to bring in Messi's partner at Barcelona and of course, this will really make Inter Miami have a better and stronger performance at this time. It seems that, with such success, maybe Messi can really guarantee to get more titles with Inter Miami.
MLS was not so popular as european league and NBA was much more popular in US. messi has been getting ballon d'or so many times. It's gonna be the weirdest thing for me to see messi to faces difficulty in playing on intermiami.
Intermiami was just bringing a small barcelona to the club. It was giving a big change to the club. I remind you how dominant messi was in PSG. he was always helping his teammates scored in league 1.
Playing in MLS will not be so hard for him. MLS was not so competitive as arabian league now. It's easy for him to dominate the league with the help of some of his friends which were also coming from barcelona too.
I do agree that Messi will make Inter as good as they could possibly be and I think it should be important to remember that we are still seeing Messi at a "young" age relatively. I mean he is not 40 years old, he is still just 36 years old which means that he could still play very well and we are seeing that right now.

I think he is going to break a lot of records there. But, we also need to remember that he hasn't had any time off and he is at the lowest level club, so they can't win the title this season. Next season though, they could get some players and that could lead to a better result, they may win the title next year if he keeps playing like this, that would mean that he is going to end up with a title there too, and that would be lovely.

Feels like the hardest part of the job starts now. He won the tournament and that's great, a cup that Miami never assumed they could ever win, and they are feeling amazing about it and celebrating and all that.

But they should remember that they are still at the near bottom for the league and it's starting back up again, which means that they need to keep winning so many games, when Messi arrived this team was at the bottom and Messi is a 35-36 year old player who played at his club first, then world cup, then his club again and without taking a break he went to Miami and started playing there, he will need to relax and rest a bit or he might get injured. All these risks means they may not finish the season that well.
MLS more interesting and growing popularly as we all know. Inter Miami players and fans are so curious to see where Leo Messi will heighten the club standards to. Inter Miami are not frightened by any club in MLS this season. When they have the undisputed GOAT in the team, everything concerning achievement is possible. Talking about Leo Messi at 36years old, he's fully fit and able to do the spectacular things he's popularly known for. Leo Messi is consistent player with promising duties for his new club, earning them a memorable trophy means a whole lot.
Messi managed to win trophy with this team. I'm personally watching to MLS because of Inter Miami. Having the GOAT in their squad changed everything. Miami is now a team to watch, and they're good to go. For now if they win all their matches, they might not qualify for the MLS cup – it's a bit late for that. But that's not a concern at the moment. Things will fall in place gradually. There's no need to worry; they will stand up because they're a team with Messi.

I think what Messi has achieved with Inter Miami is remarkable, some may say that this league is easier than the European Leagues he used to play before but I will say that still scoring 10 goals in just 7 games and scoring quite some beautiful goals means that Messi has returned to good football. At this point I have no doubt that most likely Inter Miami is going to win the title there in the MLS while I think PSG is a long gone forgotten memory by Messi.Of course his family feels better too in USA as USA is North America and they come from South America so most likely the lifestyle difference is not that big especially in Miami which is populated by South Americans a lot.
In just a short time, he and his team-mates gave the club a title that had never been taken into account by other clubs because they always performed poorly.
Inter Miami won the title, and Messi won 2 personal titles as the top scorer and as the best player in this competition.

I feel so bad for other footballers. Messi really makes this thing look very easy. He doesn't it effortless well and he's so good at it. Researchers should conduct a research to fimd out if there is a super gene that makes a person a start footballer. Messi should definitely be one of the subjects. He has made history with every club he's been in. And this is not even about the clubs having start players even with average players, once he gets there they become stars. I don't know what is left for him to win anymore. He is the greatest of the great.
He's a great player and there's no doubt about it, it looks easy for him but of course not because every success requires hard work but we don't see every hard work he put into achieving it.
He was teased when he decided to go to Inter Miami because this club is weak, but he managed to answer his decision well, and it seems like he's just trying to keep playing not looking for popularity anymore but that's what he still gets in MLS without having to do controversy.
Yes, this tournament is too easy for a star like Messi. But coming to Inter Miami, a team with such a bad record, he came here to carry the team. He inspired the whole team and gave them confidence.
Messi handed the penalty to Josef Martinez, and we saw Martinez's confidence and progress. Recently he continued to cede the captaincy to DeAndre Yedlin, who was captain of Inter Miami before his arrival. No player can do it like Messi. Messi is genuinely comprehensive in every way.

Normally I don't like to make comparisons between players, but after what Messi achieved with this small team in the USA, I think this guy is a legendary player, he is far above all players, he deserves the title of the best player in the world. i say this because people have been saying that ronaldo is having a big effect in the arab league, but it is a success due to the popularity he has on social media, for example he has thousands of followers on instagram and many other famous players have moved for saudi arabia due to this wave that ronaldo created. but when you look at the issue of contributing to the team, you realize that ronaldo's entire team plays for ronaldo to score goals and maintain publicity in the arab league

more directly, when a player from the saudi arabia team has the ball and then has to pass it on to ronaldo to score a goal, this means that the other players do not develop and ronaldo has to depend on the other players on the team to score a goal. while in the case of messi things are very different, he is the player who designs the moves, makes good passes, and scores the goal, messi manages to do well even playing in a small and visible team that he is not looking for fame or publicity the usa league, but even so in the short time he's been in this new team he's already managed to bring about big changes and still became the team's center of attention. he is the guy the team counts on to win games
There's something I also observed about the infusion of Messi into his new team. It is that Messi is more into the role of player-coach.
I could see him being more of a leader in telling the other team mates how to and where to better position themselves in some of the matches I saw and also him according respect to whom it's due in the person of the former captain he took over from, during the trophy presentation too.
It goes to show how comfortable he is and much he has settled into his new found environment.
It's indeed very blissful for him.
And let's take a look at the way he plays.
We have seen Messi in the national team shirt. He is a player with great aspirations and is ready to fight hard to win titles.
We see Messi with PSG. he is forcing. His play style was sloppy until the end of the game.
Now, I see him playing football with passion, just like when he was at FC Barcelona, but beyond his role as a senior leading the next generation to develop. I admit that he is playing emotionally.

Yes it is true that this is only a small tournament when compared to other tournaments he has won, such as the Champions League which he managed to win during his time as a Barcelona player as much as 4x. But the thing that must be taken into account with its success is that football is a team sport, when there is a player who can influence a club that has always performed poorly by achieving better then that is success, but I am sure that it is not only because Inter Miami managed to convince Lionel Messi to be a player at the club but also the role of other players who also have a big contribution.
The existence of two other former Barcelona players also played a role in bringing this club to be better, Jordi Alba and Sergio Busquets.
Messi, Alba and Busquets may only play in this club around 2-3 seasons because of age, and maybe when these three players retire Inter Miami will be back to being a weak team.
I saw how Messi gave DeAndre Yedlin a chance to win the trophy.

On the other hand, Messi at 50% is still better than 99% of all players currently in MLS. Yes, the level is growing and they got some big stars but Messi is the only superstar. I saw a couple of matches of Atlanta United in the last 2 years and while the matches were pretty ok, there is still a big difference with La Liga or any other big European competition.
