Its true that bitcoin price affecting to altcoin price because is main currency in market. Most investor portfolio drop the value because bitcoin price fall. Most base currency in exchanger using bitcoin as main currency and thats why altcoin price affected when bitcoin price drop.

I think the right term is not poor but bot earning profit. Because bitcoin investors has enough capital to buy the coins and ifbthey encounter deficit they would not fall poor.

I know lot of investors are in big lose and still it's counting. Investors are becoming poor, but Bitcoin price drop show that he is the king. I mean if Bitcoin price go down, then all other altcoins go down with prices except few one's. So rather than thinking negative, we should hope bitcoin will pump and than all market will pump.

I think they are not poor. what happens is a decrease in the value of assets that investors have, not the amount of assets they have. the number of assets will remain the same, even though the price changes. all they need to do is wait for the price to return, then their money will come back.

Why did you invested on those projects? I am not saying that bitcoin don't affect the other coins prices but investing on ICOs are really risky it may fade away even if there is small dump in the market for longer run since these coins were just used for bump and dump purpose so if you bought it at ICO just sell when it listed or the prices will be in heavy loss like you faced.

Yes because the whole crypto market is running behind the bitcoin so if bit coin is down then whole market is down and if people have not enough knowledge about market then they can loose their money.
