A broken clock is right twice a day. I would be impressed if somebody predicted something like West Ukraine leaving Ukraine and it ended up happening without any warning in advance.
In Ukraine's case, since breakup of Soviet Union, it was evident there was going to be clash between the Ukrainophiles and Russophiles.. and there was past precedent for this, like the Ukrainian lands before WW2 or after USSR like Russian influence in Transnistria.

wow, really? i know some guys from croatia and slovenia who fighting on separatists side right now Other than Balthazar, I don't think there is any Russian / Ukrainian citizen active here. Most of the former-USSR users are not comfortable in English, and therefore they might be more inclined to discuss this issue in the Russian language forums.

Tell everyone how you can know any facts about Ukraine, even though you are sitting comfortably at your computers, probably 1000s of km and several time-zones away from the fighting.
Part 2, explain the word "belief", and tell us why it does not apply to your superior knowledge about Ukraine.
Fact is what has happened in reality. So, when speaking, for instance, about racism you should first of all speak of the U.S., and long before Russia even comes to your mind at that (just one conspicuous example)...
