While Obama and Merkel discuss further sanctions against Russian Federation (it's a game the two like to play in their sandbox, you know. Obama is so out of touch, talking about "new escalation from Moscow", when it's NATO amassing the military):

Oh, and Crimea and the City of Sevastopol are now listed in the constitution of the Russian Federation as federal subjects:

One of the Presidential candidates, Oleg Carev, went missing in Odessa, abduction suspected:http://lenta.ru/news/2014/04/11/kidnaping/Special ops drove him in unknown direction. Before that he arrived in Odessa to participate in the Victory March commemorating 70 years of liberation of the city from Nazi troops. Right Sector Nazis Nazis blocked him in the hotel demanding he be extradited for lynching. After the march was finished some pro-Russian activists started pulling to the hotel, so a confrontation was brewing. At this point special ops decided to evacuate Carev and he was driven away. His staff cannot come in contact with him since then. His mobile phone is silent.
He is one of the candidates, who previously visited the South-Eastern region of Donetsk and actually managed to enter a reasonable dialogue with the protesters there, so he might actually draw some support from that region during the elections.
