A moderator deleted my response to your post, which is strange considering it was directed towards my previous posts - Thank you for the links. Is there some sort of minimum post length required when thanking for a response which was specifically in response to another post?

Anyway, I absolutely know it’s possible to rank up with this system but it’s clearly more difficult for newer accounts, as to be expected. It is fascinating to see the changes throughout the years on this forum in terms of level requirements. It probably grew so quickly things had to be adjusted to keep up with the sheer volume of ‘whatever’ posts, trolls, spam..

Thanks for the insight, responses  and details.

I see you're on your way to Hero status!
Although they say not to ask excessively, would you consider blessing me with a single merit point, in appreciation of your progress to Sr. status and in anticipation of your projected furthering of seniority?   Grin
Thanks for your time.
I am not a merit-earning beast, but you can read my guide here: Promotion with merit system and new rank requirements. It's possible.
Inspirational stories from self-made promoted users

Lastly, based on your post history, if you keep posting that way, you will never get a single merit, I believe. Read stories, learn from them, improve your post quality, and wait for your first merits.

I know, I was mostly joking. It's pretty impressive to see anyone gain that well with the newer merit system. I'm not new to bitcointalk but I'm new to posting- including high quality content.

I was Hero member when merit was introduced (1.5 year ago), I feel very happy because with today's date I have received 1000 merits which made me, like some users like to say, "self-made legendary member".
I am a self-made Senior Member, and I actually started as a Junior Member with merit system. Now, I have been on my way to your beginning rank, Hero Member, and I am proud of myself that I am not too far to that target. I achieved more than 80% of merit requirement for that next rank.

Merit begging.
This is a very uneffective way to get merits.
You should try to post interesting contents. That's the right way.

What is the difference between number of post and number of activities.  The ranking is for activities which I have 52 and I have 61 posts.
Next time use Google. Read: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/faq-everything-you-need-to-know-about-forum-activity-account-ranks-and-merit-2766177

Someone already created a script that solves this. It makes possible for you to merit a post directly in the same page you are.

See: Enhanced merit UI [1.1]

Ahm... It's just one temporal tab on your browser though? I didn't expect people to be so bothered by it nor someone spending time to make a script for it! Shocked
Isn't everyone used to have multiple tabs open?

I would guess that people who are reading these forums are interested in cryptocurrencies,
people who are interested in cryptocurrencies have at least a decent IT knowledge,
people with decent IT knowledge can handle a little packed internet browser! Cheesy
Dafuck? What does this have to do with anything?

Posts will increase once you starting post bit activity update is limited to 14 activities per 14 day periods. So, even if you post more than 14 in a 14 day period, you will not get more than 14 activities.

It is more appropriate place to ask for help from community user-scripts, here: [BRAINSTORM] Any requests for custom extensions/user scripts for BitcoinTalk?. I think that you can get help by asking at that thread.
