This is also "not a risk free investment". Alt coin investment has the highest risk of all. Unpredictable if they will rise or fall(just like most of the new alt coins.)
It won't apply in my case since I get those altcoins for free . Like I said it's totally free. So just grab it and save it. Much better to not dump them for now because majority of them is just 7-20 satoshis each.

There is no such thing as "safe investment".
All kind of investment comes with risk. Investment is like gambling but depends more on skills than luck. Better skills/knowledge you have about where you are investing, the less risk it comes with.

Yes it is some kind of method to grow but its so small I guess. You will have to take some time to save it because the giveaways is so little

Lets say that the price is sky rocketing, how long and how much time did you need to make it to 1 BTC? Giveaway is just for testing something up, its like faucets to me. Use this giveaways to try something is a good thing but its too low

And besides today I don't need to dump those free altcoins because most of them are averaging only 7-20 satohis each. So for the meantime I will save it for now. Its free you know.

Oh didnt know Poloniex had lending already, the last time i had to log in to poloniex i was withdrawing most of my altcoins because they where changing their ID policy, lending is becoming a trend feature for exchanges now days.
besides poloniex, to my knowledge Huobi also received a loan, it's just that the loan can not be withdrawn, the number of exchangers that do this because, many traders are underfunded in trading, so they need a lot of funds, and exchangers begin to look this business
Time invested: may be a lot. Need time to find reputable borrowers with high credit scores. As these borrowers are in high demand and they often get funded pretty quickly, it may be a while before you can locate a borrower with lower risk.

Poloniex has new "Lending" feature. I'm earning 0.05% daily interest on BTC I lended to margin traders. Still it makes it around 18% annual return, probably not worth risking keeping your Bitcoins on an exchange.
I look at poloniex " Lending " demand is still quiet. demand borrow quite a lot, but demand that lend absolutely no

The thing is that yes we can make a good money from Signature Campaign (High Paying), the trading thing that the op mentioned in the OP thread is risky, because if some one dont know about trading he may loose his btc, because its happened with me that i lost more than 80$.
it is risky indeed, but investing isn't something that's easy and without risk. if i would lend my money with such purpose i would prefer bitfinex. that exchange gives me much more confidence than poloniex.

I see still better lending in this forum with collateral account
i did miss that, it is nice to have lending integrate in a exchange directly, but the volume is non existing, there is 1 guy that want a loan and 10k guys that are offering one

No,I'm joking...but they were not numerous
Just don't like the bad comment of some high earners about faucets. They considered it bad move. But you know it's a side earnings for newbies together with the common process of earnings some btc. Some people even those high earners still treat faucets as a time killers and doing it for fun (example while working @ office). So why faucets is bad?

Still has high risks though. Isn't dependable for a long period of time. You need to have a good sense on decision making on which coin to hold and dump. But yeah, it can help you grow your btc. 
I do not see any high risk here, it is just a matter as of shifting BTC to U.S Dollars and Vice versa. Comparing to fiat currencies altcoin are safer, so according to me doing business trading between alt coins and bitcoins will not harm, future is one and only for digital currencies.About other altcoins , I used to hold them for now. We don't know but maybe someday they'll rock like bitcoin.
