In the past we had decentralised gambling platforms in which people of any age can spend their money gambling. Nowadays those aren't available anymore and everyone signing up is required to fulfill KYC. Through this the underaged ones can be restricted from using the platforms. Even this is being bypassed with the verification details of parents or closer ones who are at the legal age to gamble. Underaged people gambling have brought big wins and there are examples of winner handling it in a mature manner. Same time there are people who end their lives after big losses.

You should know that in some countries, the age to gamble on land based casinos can be different from the age to gamble on online casinos. Some countries may not have well established legal age for online gambling, but the gambling site will set the age of the offline gambling site like 21 years which is common in US.

On the terms of service of each gambling sites, you will see the legal age that is there, I have noticed 18 years to be the most common. If regulators wants to fight underage gambling, they should first look towards that. But most countries legal age to gamble is 18 years. 18 years is the legal age in most countries in Europe, Africa and Asia that allow gambling.

If a gambling site is in US, like Stake.us, the legal age in their terms of service is 21 years which is what that is most common in states in United States. But gambling sites that are international that we are using, put the legal gambling age to be 18 years because most countries legal gambling age across the world is 18 years.

Also, if we find any site allowing minors to gamble, can legal action be taken against them?
There may not be any legal actions to be taken because most people who gambles today that are under age may likely take or steal the documents of their neighbors or friends possibly their parents documents to pass a stage 2 kyc verification.
I think they have to implement a tougher and stringent way of identification to avoid cheat during kyc verification and to make sure bettors are up to the required age limits to gamble.

For the US the restricted age is 21 in a casino.  I think the scratch off or instant lottery rules are 18.  But every casino or sportsbook I've seen in the US both atlantic city and Las Vegas is 21.  Why what's the question or what's the issue?  In tons of cases kids under 21 have gotten into those casinos, but it's the quiet ones that go through.

Yes, the gambling sites have our age data through the KYC documents. Do they ever restrict anyone underage to not to gamble?
Also, if we find any site allowing minors to gamble, can legal action be taken against them?

I can tell if really gambling site honour or doesn't honour the age limits that are stipulated by various countries but I am sure that it will be within their regulatory compliance to obey the age limit statutes and most centralized casinos have this page where you include your date of birth at the point of registration and as a primary KYC requirement where email and full name are asked.

So that should cover for the age limits,  note that most casinos have their date of birth information inevitable and this is to prevent underage gambling

I believe for most online casinos which are not strict with their kyc requirements, some underage may have been playing.
But they know the risks as most casinos stated on their ToS about such age restriction, and they will be screwed once the site starts asking their credentials.
But definitely, I think some underage kids are playing in online casinos. Especially now that access to them is quite easy.
Maybe, someone can take legal action on the site, however, I think, you will just waste a lot of your resources to push thru such case,
in which, the better thing to do is just talk to the kid about repercussions when he decide to go into gambling spree.
Quite hard to go after the casino as you need a very motivating case to go thru all the troubles of filing a lawsuit to them.

I came across an article How Old Do You Have to Be to Gamble in USA?. In this article, i saw that the minimum age to gamble is between 18 to 21 years. I wonder if the online casino do follow this minimum age for gambling.
