I do not think $100 as an appropriate initial capital for beginners of trading. They should not risk big when are are not ready completely for market fluctuations.

Moreover I have seen some experienced traders are always do trading with less than $50 worth of altcoins, they justify it as a risk minimizing method. When you are targeting some consistent profits rather than greedy big shots, I guess sticking with minimum all the times may ensure your success due to proper risk management.

This is a very tricky question, personally I have seen high losses due to putting too much in a coin that people go panic on lol but I have also noticed in this game the more volume you have in a coin the faster the returns, just like with any investment.

Then you could have luck like I had today, buy in very low like i did with YoBit on some new coin called SMF and turn $8 into $70 only because the slight rise on a cheaper coin you have loads of instant volume can also push you up fast, this is tricky though, you have to just happen to spot a chart that looks like a potential and know when to get out in time to not see the fast rise put you back in the hole again.

The standard I would say like most...only invest what you can afford to lose or like me be a risk taker and not sweat the losses you may incur, long as you know you will always have another day to fight the good fight to win again.

0.5BTC is a big capital to start trading actually. it is trading really so far i know that can be profitable to you to make it grow fast
by simply buy other coins that are cheap but potentially can be increase in a matter of short time only.

its rally enough and good amount 0.5BTC for trading and i hope you will get a good profit from it and when you invest your amount in huge value in trading so you will get a big profit and if you invest your amount in low value then you will get low profit but experience and skill is very important thing for a successful trader.

Well, when you have accurate information, and great skill, then the amount is no longer an obstacle. possible to start it you must begin with the 0.1, or 0.2 BTC according to your abilities. but if you do not have it, maybe 0:05 BTC can give you for quite a lot. but, I suggest to use as much as possible, because the more you use, the more profit you gonna get.

But in the start, we should use only limited amount. Because in trading, we couldn't guess, we mustily need skills and correct information than we gain profit. Agree on what you have said about trading since it's not really always making money and we win on constant ways in fact losses are still there even on the most professional traders do still lose because moving prices is unpredictable which means we do really need to have good knowledge and experience to sustain good profitable trades.

it is one way that simple. we gather capital from altcoin trading results at this time. then the next day we are trading with higher numbers. it will collect a lot of capital to generate more money.

Probably not a good suggestion in my view. You are just considering only the positive side, but for the dangerous side always going with possible lower capital must be a wise decision. There is no such amount like minimum amount.
Like the least transaction I have seen is 0.00001 bitcoin.
This was given to me by my friend , at that time it was equal to 0.01 USD.
He just gave it to me for fun.
Now , no-one will sell anything for that amount.
But I just wanted to tell that that is probably the minimum amount that you can send or receive.
As the tax is more compared to the amount your are paying is such case

If you want to start with good amount than it is a wise decision for you, because many people fail to make more money because they will start with lower amount and always looking for higher profits. Better plan with some good amount so that your returns will also be high. But don't invest which you cannot afford.

To became a professional trader you must have experience in trading and have a skill on it.It is not on how your bankroll big to invest in trading.They are some successful trader here does not need a big bankroll.
