in any exchange platform the minimum was 0.001BTC i think is enough for you to start trading.
No, the minimum capital for trading should not be decided based on exchange minimum but should be set based on your trading capability. If you are good in trading strategies and in money management, you can start even with 0.01 bitcoins. But for altcoin trading half of this would be more than sufficient amount.
I don’t know about you but trading with a small capital was never profitable since you have to cut the exchange fees from the money you make.

Starting with a small capital does not leave a chance of failure say for example if you make a mistake of selling when the price got higher you are left with nothing so you have to have a reasonable amount that you can divide between holding and trading with, but that does not mean that you should never try trading.

When i was new in trading, i started in small amount only because i want to try first if i can do it right and i can say that experience is really a good thing before you start to risk bigger amount, so i think 0.5btc is really enough to start.

You can start trading with as low as 0.001 btc but you can't make big profit with small amount.Recently I sent 0.0045btc on Poloniex and with trading I now have 0.005btc.
Small investment also means less risk

With smaller amount you will make small amount of profits, even i tried with 0.01 btc after 1 month i made around 0.03 btc. But after i realized that if we start with some decent money than we will make some huge profits in trading.

no minimum amount to start trading although its only 1 dollar but bigger amount you will get big profits but its also can make you lose big amount too so big amount is needed but trading skill more needed to get big profits so if you begginer at trading world better you start it with small amount like 0.001 to 0.01 btc to prevent big losses Smiley
It will be safer if you have a bigger amount of money because you can easily spend your Bitcoin in various type of altcoin. However, if you are a newbies, I suggest you should spend about 0.01 to 0.1 Bitcoin in order to learn and obtain some experience from trading. If you are good enough, I bet that you can have profit from trading even when you only have $1 to start your career

Yes 0.01 is already a good amount to start trading. Even you are going to start with 0.001 BTC for sure you can't progress with that amount.

It's better to start with 0.01 BTC for you can afford this to lose and it's a good amount for learning stage.

So if you are going to start with smaller amount the profit you can get is also low.

0.5 btc is really nice amount i prefer you trading bitcoin/paypal or bitcoin/skrill or bitcoin/payeer or some other payment wallet and you can earn nice amounts when you are trading like a exchanager but you need to proof that you are trusted guy.

A good amount to start trading would be 0.1 BTC. Possible to lose sometimes, but the important is to have much ammo to spend on the process. For a newbie it can be started using low amounts of money per trade, but the bankroll can be 0.1 BTC too.
Possible to apply martingale on losses, here I'm sure it will work if you are skilled enough.

yeah its good idea that anyone can start trading with any amount like as .001 btc but if you are expert and genius in trading then you can invest your bitcoin in huge amount in bitcoin if you invest your money in high amount then you will earn your profit in good amount .
At the beginning days no one will be expert and genius in trading so it would be always advisable to start trading with the possible least amount. I like the idea of starting trading with 1 mBTC. All the above, I guess we can start trading less then this amount also in some specific exchanges.

Yes this is enough but u dont forget important thing. Trading have very risk. İ try two time and i ll lose.

It is true that this amount is enough for trading but i will say that is much bigger and good for a good start, but that is not true that trading is risky, it is risky only for those who do not have experience for trade or do not have skill in there,if you are new to trade and do not know much about trade then do not trade and if you are with good knowledge then take your start.

Yes, I agreed and very profitable to all traders actually. Risky will only be apply if we will become neglectful by doing trade in the exchange platform.  And in any exchange platform the minimum was 0.001BTC i think is enough for you to start trading.

The minimum amount to start trading is low actually, if you want to start trading a you have to do is look up some guides to get you started off and start trading with a small amount, don’t worry if you lose at first losing is a vital part of learning so get experience and then you can increase the amount that you trade with.
You shouldn't trade with low amount capital it won't give you anything
If you really want to train yourself in trading , then train yourself to handle the bigger risk
Get used to it and you gonna be a good trader later if you can master it
A trader will not wasting time like that .

It wouldn't mean less risk of losing money; just less risk of losing MORE money since you are playing around with less capital.

yes that is the beauty of bitcoin that you can start trading here for any amount. in fact there is  no limit for trading alt coin you must be careful and always invest such amount of bitcoin that you can bear to lose. because trading is also so much risky, and specially if you do not have any trading experience.

Sometimes is not about the risked amount but about the strategy we use when we make the buy/sell move, because if we are successful on small amounts this means that we have a good potential to succeed and with larger amount too (even though there is a higher risk).

Profits should not be counted as small or high, according to the investment the profit ratio is counted, like you said you invested 0.0045btc and now having 0.005btc so it means you had 10% profit which is very good, if you take on long term ROI then you will see that some days after you are holding 0.05btc also. So dont think of becoming one day millionaire but think like job or business and 10% is high profit.
