Definetely worth both. Furthermore, my acquaintance mines some coins for quick selling. they are like scam, but profit will be enormous if you sell them in a month

Hey guys,
I am planning to mine altcoins in the next year. What do you think, is it worth the time and capital ?
It's worth if currently crypto is bull market, like summer 2017, you'll earn a lot of $$$ if you start mining altcoin last year, I believed that 2018 bull market maybe start soon, so maybe ask again when you start to mining altcoin, but start now= NO, you need to prepare a lot of money to setup mining hardware and pay bills, current market better direct buy some altcoin and hold for profit

unless you are looking to hold the coins which you feel has a huge potential in the near future.

If not if you mine and sell immediately, the altcoins is pretty hard to bring you profit.

It worths for sure, if it doesn't why do people mine coins? but it also depends on your capital, your hardware for mining. If you have not detailed knowledge about mining you should consult someone expert on this.

As for me the only alt that it is maybe worth mining is eth. And still it is better to sell it instantly if you dont want to take huge amount of risks in this unstable market. And still I would only mine it if I already had some GPU's, but not planing to buy some in hope to make earns. Mining is not so profitable these days  Undecided

I guess it all depends on what coins you are planning to mine as some are way more profitable than others, add to that the mining difficulty which constantly increases, and you have to bear in mind that the rig alone will cost you a couple of grand. I do not know but I am skeptic about mining.

If you have cheap electricity, mining GPU centric alts can be profitable. There are many to switch between and GPU's have a good resale value if you decided to discontinue.

It's worth it if you are mining for the future.
What I mean is if your electricity isn't so expensive it's worth it but if not, you have to create a plan and just mine for the coins and sell it when it comes up. There are coins that have less difficulty and if you'll mine it and hold until its price goes up, it worth it right?

I think it's worth it. Altcoins can grow in relation to bitcoin and this is a good plus. The only question is the correct choice

Pay attention to the POS mining, this trend is gaining more and more strength.
It's probably not the best idea to buy graphics cards now.

Hey guys,
I am planning to mine altcoins in the next year. What do you think, is it worth the time and capital ?
I think you should not exploit Altcoins at the moment. Because the profit you earn is very low and almost no profit. The price of the altcoins will not meet your electricity bill and your investment in a short time.
So I recommend exploring Bitcoin, its price is very high and the profit earned is more than exploiting altcoin.
