I noticed that the connections to smOS, both web interface, and os-server, are using an expired SSL certificate. This is a potential security thread and therefore those connections are blocked by many firewalls.

Is anyone having problems lately?
My dashboard is stuck since days and it seems that it is not able to update any data.
This is the situation for a few days.

The topic seems quiet so I suppose that this is due to my firewall.

Thank you Sir. You know your OS, so how can I check what maker of memory that my video cards use in SMOS. I use Nvidia and tried nvidia-smi. But it does not give that kind of info.

tytanick why haven't you updated the Nvidia driver? The new driver is 390.42.

I posted twice about it, he hasn`t even responded to them  Angry
No i will not update driver automatically. It is causing too many problems.
The new image with newest drivers is in progress.

@ tytanick when will you add raven miner ? We are loosing money. I dont like to say it but you are very slow for new miners. I think i can stop using SMOS because of this.

NVIDIA GPUs, use ccminer-tpruvot-v2.2.5-cuda8.0

-a X16R -o stratum+tcp://yiimp.eu:3666 -u RWXkbHP3SVEFexGzuUvzAPV515ko3VgfmC -p c=RVN

I am using AMD.

I got 2 main questions for this system.

1- I got 22 Rigs and i want to use SM for all of them.Do i need to copy USB stick for each of them one by one or i can create one and is there a way to clone them fast? I tested only one with Etcher program worked fine but for all 21 rigs it would a while to do it.

2- I use Rx 580 cards for my rigs from different brands but the one i tested was Saphire Rx 580.I get 22 Hashrate from them without setting overclock on SM and even i change values it remains same and even some of them goes lower to 19.All my cards are on default they are not modded.Do i need to mod them on windows in order to use with SM @ hasrates around 29-32 ? They said SM does overlock auto but i couldnt see any boost.

Thanks much for the help.

Thank you, but nvidia-smi tool doesn't tell what make of memory is on my cards.

No - only for AMD cards. For NVIDIA maybe the nvidia-smi tool have all the info you need.

A couple questions, will it work with Nvidia cards? And how do you install it in SMOS?

SMOS is not windows.

Can someone that actually knows what there talking about help me? In SMOS how can I tell what make memory my video cards have?

Use GPU-Z to figure that out.

Install "amdmeminfo" - not sure if Tytanick has this utility built in already in latest image.

We discussed this utility extensively last year when flashing BIOS from SMOS using atiflash for Linux.

Sample output from amdmeminfo as follows, basically gives you most GPU information including memory type, PCI slot location etc.

root@simpleminer:~/utils# amdmeminfo

I will tomorrow handle some miners and add as much as i can ( already few of those are prepared)

It would be nice to add this miner please.

Dear Tytanick,

With the recent update on nvidia overclock setting, I noticed that my 12x GTX1070 rigs have some issue applying the overclock setting.
It happened on my gpu0 and gpu1 where the overclock failed to apply on this 2 gpu. both gpu will stay at stock clock.
I have to reapplied few times the overclock setting then it can be successfully applied the setting on both gpu0 and gpu1.
Anyone here did encountered this for nvidia rig?
Thanks

Best Regards,
Wee
