hello can you please add "AMD" tag for HiveOS... I can't use my flightsheet...

Hi raft888,
Thank you for your message.
Unfortunately HiveOS marked miniZ as nvidia miner only.
We'll see what we can do about this.

No that didn't fix it. Same as before, forgot to mention that when the miner crashes, HiveOS reports GPU 1 & 2 need attention and the rig needs to be restarted.

Hi iRonNuke,

Sorry about that.
If you mine with only one of those GPUs, does it also happen?
We're unsure this is a miniZ issue. At the moment we're still trying to reproduce this error, with no success.

Could you check the power consumption? miniZ is a bit more optimized when mining 125,4, when compared to other miners, power (and OCs) requirements may differ. If your power supply is working on its limits, this could create instability.

Let us know how it goes.
Cheers

Hi Aurum420,
Are you still experiencing these issues?

The CUDA errors you're having are related to OC settings.
Our OC values work as a reference. But, there are always some differences across systems. Try to adjust your OCs a little and test again.

Regarding the error with network connection, we find no issue with connection to 2miners servers. Either they had a problem with the servers (at the time you were connecting), or possibly there was some issue on your end (possibly with your network connection).

Thank you for the feedback. Let us know if the issues persist.
Cheers

This error seems to occur randomly. In this case it was the 2nd GPU on a computer with a pair of matching 1080 Ti's. Once it occurs that GPU stops mining and does not restart.
This computer was mining BTG using your Eco (min PL) settings. Usually closing miniZ and restarting it and it runs.
What caused it? Is there anything I can do to prevent it?
Adding a watchdog to miniZ might resolve these kinds of stoppages.

One of my computers fails every time for this error on boot up using Linux Mint 20.3 Startup Applications autostart. If I remote into this headless computer it starts fine if I click on the Run Now icon. I've tried to increasing the Delay Time but that does not help. Did it fail without even trying the two failover pools?

BTW, your BLOG is broken. I've posted messages several times and nothing ever appears so I'll post here.

Any chance to include EXCC coin on 144,5 algo? Looks it's mining but doesn't send any shares. Actually i couldn't find any --pers for this coin. Looks very profitable and promissing coin. Here is the pool....https://pool.excc.co/
Hi DragonFlight,
Thanks for your suggestion.
This will not be happening in the next version, but we'll have a look.

Hey, just wanted to request to add --fan=xx to the overclock settings if possible, without it i still have to use msi afterburner to set the fan speed
Also cant wait for it to be better optimized for amd cards, got some i would love to mine flux with

While i am at it, here is my 2070super, 1420core, -512 memory

Hi Ruben,
We'll add --fanspeed in the next version!
Older drivers might not support this feature, which driver version are you using?
Your 2070 Super is great! Thanks for sharing!

Hi everyone,

A new  miniZ v1.8z is out!

Thank you for your patience and for all the feedback!

Please find miniZ v1.8z version @ Download page.

Changelog:
  * Improved performance and stability for ETH for LHR GPUs.
  * Improved performance for RTX 30XX, for 125,4 algorithm (Flux).
  * Added AMD support for 125,4 (Flux), for RX 470/480/570/580 GPUs.
  * Added FIRO support. Check How to mine Firo (Firo)? On our FAQ page.
  * GPU brand shows on log.
  * Fixed issues with SERO.
  * Fixed issues with 192,7.
  * Added option to dump pool stratum communication, --protocol-dump.
  * Added options to fix core and mem clocks. (require sudo)
    --gpuclock=[gpuclock(MHz)] to apply list of GPU clocks, works for sm>=7. Use gpuclock=1 for auto.
    --memclock=[memclock(MHz)] to apply list of memory clocks, works for sm>=7. Use memclock=1 for auto.
  * Added option to change power limit within the miniZ.
    --power=[power(W)] to apply list of power limits (requires sudo).
    or -pl [power(W)]
  * Added option for SOCKS proxy specification, --socks=[proxy].
    Format [username:password@]server:port.
    The prefix username:password@ is optional.
  * Added option to let SOCKS proxy resolve DNS requests, --socksdns.
  * Added options --amd/--nvidia to select amd/nvidia GPUs, respectively.
  * Added the short average avg0 to getstat.
  * Minor bug fixes.

OCs for LHR GPUs (sudo recommended, in Linux)
We also leave here information regarding the OCs we used for testing (driver 510.54). Note that you may need to adjust a bit for your system.
We recommend using sudo in Linux when mining ETH with LHR GPUs.
    * 3060: core: -100, mem:+2990 (Linux)1, PL=115 W; ~39 MH/s
    * 3070 Ti: core: -200, mem: +4500 (Linux)1, PL=215 W; ~65 MH/s
    * 3080 Ti: core: +0, mem: +2600 (Linux)1, PL=266 W. ~79 MH/s (~84 MH/s with proper cooling)
1On Windows, memory clock with MSI Afterburner should be half of the indicated value. For example, for the 3080 Ti you need to set +1300 for memory clock in MSI Afterburner.
Note that you may need to adjust a bit for your system.

Download miniZ v1.8z version @ here page..

For additional information check the Usage or the FAQ pages.

Because some of your messages have been posted long ago (sorry about this), we suggest that you try the new version and check if this resolves the issue.
Let us know how if the problem persists.
In some particular cases we may still answer to ask for some information or clarification.

Happy mining!

You are quite behind with the new version.  For what you take as a percentage ... it is simply not good not to make a new version for so many months.  We have been waiting for you for almost half a year ...You have problems with some cards and do not solve them in time...
When can we expect the new version you have been promising for so long?

Version 1.8z was released yesterday but the thread wasn't updated yet
