1. Did u change name on start up ? Im not sure if I am using 1.3n1 or 1.3+ . I reinstalled with custom-get but still ? Also 1 more thing custom-get from HiveOS doesnt get httpS links , it should be http.

2. How is --oc1 related to OC settings ? what about --oc2? When should you use them and by what OC settings(like how does oc1 or oc2 help by card consuming power in W ? is it like using oc1 with card consuming less then 65 % of PL and oc2 for rest or ?) with --oc1 i am trying to use low power OC with max coreclock (till card crash) and - memory , such as  +150 / -1000 for example

3. also setting constant voltage to card seems a lot better but my rigs are on Linux Sad . And its very big husslle to spent a lot of time fine tunning each card for perfect voltage and OC settings.. Just card seems more stable and it's able to gain more hash for lower W

4. Also extra params are still ignored by hive os ? anything about this ?
Hi N0pr3s3n7,
Thank you for the information.

1. It looks that you are using the latest. It is ok.
You can also use http, we confirm that it will work as well. Thanks for letting us know.
2. We meant that your OC values can affect stability, and could have an effect on what you were experiencing. --oc1 is best to use with PL. --oc2 tends to be best when you seek performance/speed. But you can try and check which provides better efficiency, performance and stability for your settings.
3. We tend to use what we call ECO values, choosing a combination of PL and OCs that looks stable and maximizes efficiency. We share some values on our website https://miniz.ch/1505-2/ but may need a tweek for your conditions.
4. From the screenshot we see that --show-shares and --extra are working. Smiley

Do you know which NVIDIA driver you're using?

Cheers

With the new version it looks ok. W10, G3930, 5x 1080ti + 1x1080 cpu load 100%, new version 70%. Rig 6x1060GB, W10, G4400 cpu 100%, new version 15%. Good work
Hi stzcze,
it is good to see that there was an nice improvement, we will keep looking to reduce this usage even further.

responsive support here. if i had any merit, i'd use it ^
mmpOS have deployed n1.3+ and it seems to be working fine.
it would be helpful if you can push out advisories on updates to the mmpOS guys, they are upcoming in this field.

thanks.
Hi rgsnedds,

Thank you for your message.
Good to know that it seems to be working ok now.
It is also great that miniZ 1.3n+ was added to mmpOS
We will add mmpOS to our list.

Latest 1.3n+ still suffer from miner offline in pool just like the previous version. Whatever changes on this version doesn't fix the dreaded offline. Mining on algo 150.5.

Just installed miniZ miner v1.3n+ from website

on my 1080s rig all works fine - CPU 33 %(+12% Sols compare to gminer)
on my 1060s rig not good - CPU 99 %

You'll have to give it up to 24 hours to know for sure.  I had it fail between 1 and 12 hours.  What CPUs are you running on your rigs?

Anyone else having trouble that miner is mining and working and its actually OFFLINE at pool (leafpool but yesturday same happened all night long i left my home pc with 1 gpu mining at f2pool and it miner only for 1-2 hours )? ..... I use HiveOS currently and 1 of the my rigs went offline at some point but it was working ....

also all extra parameters for Hive are ignored , if I add --oc1 miner doesnt even start at all . It just hangs at beginning and does nothing. Adding --show-shares etc etc --latency etc does nothing on hiveos . I tired one at line and all on one line , doesnt matter , miner is started without extra params

also please make an option to disable all the calls for nvml i guess and dont output any GPU info , we can see this info on main monitoring page..

Hi N0pr3s3n7,
we are looking into your offline worker problem.
Maybe it is fixed in the last miniZ build. We are unsure, since it is hard to replicate.

Because you need to manually delete the file (to avoid this), on your flightsheet write in
Installation URL: https://miniz.ch/hiveos/miniZ-1.3n1.tar.gz

About the options, it is odd what you describe. --oc1 might be related to your OC settings.

Regarding the nvml calls, we tested to remove nvml stuff and it made no difference.
This only happens every 10s, it has no impact on cpu usage, which is a separate problem that we are investigating.

Let us know if the new file helped.
Thanks!
Cheers

Hi Dan,
We tested on win10, Celeron(R) G4900, v1.3n+, with no problem.
But we will keep looking Smiley
Thanks.

I have the newest version running on my 3 rigs (Celeron 3900, Celeron 3930, and i5 CPU).  I will let you know how it goes.

using miniZ on mmpOS and at some point overnight, the pool stopped accepting shares.
miner kept going and stats were showing fine in the OS but at pool, miner has stopped totally.

what might be causing this?

i have reverted to using the miner via command line, bypassing the OS UI but i don't think that is the issue as the OS still showed sol/s
mining 150_5

Hi, overnight, I had the same problem on both rigs

miniZ - I downloaded the newest update (I'll refer to it as v1.3n++).  It is running, but CPU still got up to 100%.  It took about 1 minute for all 8 cards to actually start working (see logs below) and by the time the last card was going, CPU was at 100%.  I will have to run it for a while to see if it stops sending shares to the pool or crashes.  Thanks
Hi DanGB,
Thanks for all the feedback.
Could you see which process is occupying 100%?
We have been unable replicate your error exactly.

miniZ - Windows Command Processor (which is miniZ.exe underneath that) is about 65%-75% and System is about 20%-25% and System interrupts just a couple %.  Have you been able to test with a Celeron processor, because my i5 works better (not sure yet if it is stable).

same here, 6 1080ti cards, they does not start all at same time. But that is not biggest problem, after running for few hours when i come back, 2 of 3 rigs crashed - miniz window just disappeared, mining 150.5, did not have that problem with previous version, but of course with different algo, because 150.5 wasnt available.
Hi somaton,
From your message it may be the case that you are not using our last fix.

is it normal that your miner temp goes down while mining with this miner?
I noticed the difference of this mining software from other mining software it keeps my rigs cooler is it normal?
Before my GTX 1080ti reach 65c but right now the temp is playing around 55c?

or maybe there's wrong about my rig that is why it detects low temps in all of my cards?
Hi crairezx20,
The difference looks a bit too big to be normal. Could you post here the log ?
Also, can you let us know which miniZ version are you using? Is it Cuda 8 or Cuda 10? Which pool are you using?
Thanks.
Cheers
Where can I find the logs is it from a command prompt?
I'm using awesomeminer while mining with 3 different cards to test my gtx 1080ti super jetstream gives me temp around 55c at night and sometimes 59 in hot days.
But other cards reach 63c+ for gtx 1060 and 1070 but right now I currently removed 1070 due to fan issue already cleaned it but it looks like the left fan is stuck forever.

I currently have Cuda 10 driver installed and I'm using equipool mining with equihash 144.5 algo.

Here are the logs for hot days.

Hi crairezx20,

Thank you for the information.
By looking at your log, all seems to be running OK.
