Yes and by the OP's words, it's not that he made a huge mistake by declining the casino's offer in both ways, it's not really guaranteed because even the casino itself was already sweating about the amount he could be getting if the remaining bets will go through and that is why they offered the OP a decent amount. But because the OP felt that he was lucky at that time, he chose to decline and proceeded with the remaining games which later on wasn't profitable.

In simple words, a gamble is a gamble, there's no such thing as mistakes that prevented your win because it's also the other way around.

This is a mistake I won't forget so fast that sometimes I just wish I could turn back the hands of time, but damn no way. I had this sport bet predictions I copied from a colleague with the intention of placing my own bet on the predictions exactly as copied but when I got to the casino back then it was a physical casino house I was using, getting there I decided to add an additional one prediction to increase my potential winning amount. I felt guilty of greed within those period knowing that I could have had a win no matter how small the amount was to my person , for another it was a big amount. A lesson I can't forget.

I used to think that when you are betting on multiple games and win most of them, you will get some outcome for that, I didn't know that your bet becomes a lost one if you lose a single one out of many games you've betted on, that is a parlay as long as I understand, however, hard luck there, I wish you didn't have added that last game from your own side so that you could win the bet but shit happens sometimes and we can't stop it from happening.

There was nothing like that for me but I remember when my spouse suggested I bet on an opponent team when I was about to place my bet on the favorite, the opponent team had very high odds because they were way weaker than the favorite team, so I went with my own bet and ignored her suggestion, and the favorite lost against the opponent team.

The biggest mistake I ever made was probably starting to gamble. Had I stayed away from gambling I'd have a lot more money in my pocket than I do now. I think winning is possible, but winning big is rare so it's good policy to look at gambling as just fun.

Agreed, myself too have the same thought. Sometimes this used to hinder the mind and makes me down. Anyhow I've come into it, and the worst thing is moving from sports betting into casino. Atleast I could've limited myself within sports betting, if so te loss could've been low compared to what I've lost through casino games.

The mistakes that prevent you from winning big with gambling is you chasing the big win and every losses can't be forgotten, this is the right and unfair position that gambling put every gamblers into and it takes your disciplined mind to get out of that hole and do things right yourself.

Why are you even chasing big win? With gambling? That's not a good way to make any changes in your life, you will ruin if way faster than you can fix it.

1. Don't ever chase any Big win when gambling, this will prevent you from using what you can afford to lose, this will also distract your mind and you will start gambling recklessly, because YOU ARE ON A CHASE.

2. So it's certain that loses will occur, but you used what you can't afford to lose remember? This will also makes you get mad and you will start trying to get back what you have lost.

Never chase or except any big win when gambling, keep using what you can afford to lose, either win comes or not, you are still you and things are going fine for you, taking this road means self destruction because of gambling is far away from you.

Example is Real Madrid where everyone know they're often win in Champions league, the last two seasons they won as an underdog team, however the last season they're get humiliated by Manchester City in two legs.

There are many novice gamblers out there who have not had the bitter experience of still acting as they please so it is easier to make a mistake the next time when betting.

Now you regret it because the end result is a loss but the question in sports betting whether you got it right is whether the decision you made was EV+. If it was, you shouldn't regret that you lost in the end, you should have a bankroll to support it and playing EV+ in the long run you will make a profit, but it doesn't look like that's what you're doing.

This is where most of gambler are getting it wrongly although without you being an experience gambler you won't understand it, before I often lost some of my games due to greed and I would had the chance to cash out but I won't thinking I will have that chance of getting all games played without knowing some of these booker's are too trickish.
