Consistent betting in the casino center whether wining or losing I will continue betting until I finished all the money in my hands, which is a big problem to me that made me feel maybe spiritual things are involved in my matter until I learned from my mistakes never to bet more than two times a day either win or lose. I think, you have learned lesson from that your mistakes, and whenever your casino put a call across to you concerning such bet, you will cash out without wasting time which is a good strategy gamblers can use to avoid losses in the gambling center. Assume you listen to that your casino, you would have make $200 at the moment, which you can still bet for other matches.

As a gambler,I know that we have done so many mistakes in the pass base on our bets and wrong strategy or calculations that we have done which led to losing the game that was suppose to make you win big. I want to use myself as an example,I love sportbet and I bet more on it. Last months I placed my bet on 7 games that was to be played for two days. When the 5th game was played, all matches came out as predicted and I was called by the casino,to offer me a cash out of $200 in my local currency and I refused it because if the other two games was played and the I got the predictions right. I will win $1200,so I turned the offer down. The painful part of it was that the two games were to kick off on the same time, and after the games,my prediction for the two games was wrong. I felt so bad because I allowed greed to control my emotion. For this reason,I having decided that when ever I have an opportunity to cash out again,I will always go for it,instead of thinking that I can win all the money.
So my question is this,as a gambler what mistake have you made when gambling that prevented you from winning big.
Let's discuss.
you did not mentioned how much have you bet for this game because you have won 5 prediction yet the offer is just 200 dollars ,so i wonder if you just betted 1 or 2 dollars?

anyway if that can be considered as Big win then you lose the chance of gaining but this is not about greedy mate , you just took the chance as it is closest and you believe that luck is in your side.

So my question is this,as a gambler what mistake have you made when gambling that prevented you from winning big.
Let's discuss.
Indeed, there will always be times when we feel regretful about our decision, at that time you will regret not cashing out earlier because it turns out that the remaining bets were wrong but later when you finally decide to cashout there will also be regret for not waiting until all the bets were finished which turned out to be as predicted so your decision to cashout has made you not get maximum results. So actually there is no need to regret the final result, because it is impossible for gamblers to always get a win and maximum results, that is why to always use the money we can afford to lose and stay at the initial target, and maybe you can reduce the number of match choices on your multi bet which is usually 5 to 3 so that the risk will be smaller but also the profit opportunity will not be as big as 5.
Don't really remember the mistakes that were made but definitely made a lot of mistakes and that's a common thing, especially in sports betting, and I just take it as normal and impossible to avoid.

Increasing the bet after a win. Biggest mistake I have ever done. Worst, I forced it at that amount and stayed trying to expect to get it all back in one win.
I think gambling sites are making us do that. Giving us a big win first and then that will make us think we are lucky and make a bigger bet on our next rounds to come. It's obviously a trap that doesn't get old.
I've also tried that same tactic but in a different way. Changed the game I am playing but still increasing the amount per round. It still doesn't work. We cannot outwit the gambling site's system. It knew how much we won and how much we lose or if we are trying to trick it. I think the best possible way to make profits is to hit the jackpot and then get out.

There is one on an esports tournament way back 2021. If I didn't add that team on a parlay that I was cooking, I could have won $3000 from a $100 bet. That’s the largest prize I could have won, but I have to be greedy and add a 1.76x event that I’m not 100% certain on. It really is greediness that drives us to a lot of bad decisions which, in turn, results to a negative experience or results for ourselves and our activities.

To this day, I’m still kicking myself for it, but hey, it’s a learning experience.
A big enough win if you don't take the wrong action.
I also like to bet on parlays, but only the teams that I can really count on are the ones that I choose because the slightest mistake can greatly affect the final outcome of the bet.
Until now, I have always really analyzed and made mature predictions when I wanted to bet because I know very well what it feels like to lose just because of a mistake that I shouldn't have made.
With that experience you can learn that not everything you can believe to win can actually give you victory.

When you like playing gambling games, you mostly make the mistake of not stopping when you have won something significant only out of greed because you expect to win even more and think that you can double the amount or at least win something more but it barely happens and you lose whatever you've managed to win and on top of that, you lose half or the full amount that you have deposited, after that, you start regretting but to no avail.

We also make a lot of mistakes in sports betting, especially when we ignore the advice of those people who have very strong and mostly accurate gut feelings. My wife is one of those people who can feel things before they happen, once there was a match where the odds were totally against a team because it was the lowest team in the tournament, I was betting on the better side but she told me to bet on the weaker side as that will win, I didn't listen to her, and surprisingly, they defeated the favorites by a big margin, and you won't believe, the odds had a 8x or 10x difference.

unfortunately I have also been through this situation many times, because sometimes I make a multibet bet with many games and they are games on different days and times, and in most cases what happened was the following: in the first days I managed to hit more of 80% of the games that were contained within my multibet bet but I did not use that feature of canceling the bet and keeping what I had already won at that moment, because I am always remembering the past in which a bet of 9 games for example that it canceled when it managed to hit 5 games

but days after all the games ended I saw that I was right in all the games and that if I had not canceled my bet then my profits would be much greater than the one I had when I canceled the bet, so I started to put it in my head that when I make a multibet bet, it only counts as if it were a single bet and in my single bets I have a rule: I do not cancel a bet, so following this thought, I also started not to cancel my multibet bets, if I lose, there is no problem, it's part of the process. But if I win then I will celebrate a lot. and that's how I started to look at things

A lot of mistakes has occurred during my gambling days but none of the mistakes made me feel so bad like the last one.I had already made selections on the teams am betting on but when I got to the shop, I decided to add one more game just to boost the money a little but I was so disappointed when I discovered that the last game that I added to rise up the potential winning amount was the game that spoilt the ticket.
It took me time to forgive myself may be because of the money that was to be won but was denied by just addition of gas bottle.

We always want to earn more. After guessing 5 out of 7 games correctly, I would make the same decision as the risk is less for the remaining 2 games. So if you encounter the same thing tomorrow, you will probably make the same decision. $200 didn't satisfy you, so you wanted more. You lost because you wanted more. Try to change your mind so that it doesn't turn into a loop.

When I bet on matches, I usually play on a single match. This does not make me wait too long and it is easier to follow a match.

If you consider investing gambling, which really are often one in the same thing, that I would say my biggest gambling mistake is not investing more money in bitcoin when I first found it.

If you're not including "investments' in this question, then no doubt it's been for several high stakes sports bets.  There's been one Super Bowl that I went heavy on, but didnt go with my gut feeling and ended up losing by a point.  The mistake was not listening to my own self/knowledge/research, and going with sports "talking heads".  I learned from that bet though.

Well if we were to talk about mistakes, there'd be a LOT of them not just from me but from any gambler out there. I'd consider any win a big win after all, it is a lot better compared to losing anyway. I don't really remember much my dumb decisions, but I guess the one that stuck was a few bets from TI8 of Dota 2? Was a great event with great matches so it got stuck in my mind even after so long. I'd reckon in general my greed has done a lot of decision-making in the past, but well, that's just how it is, especially in gambling, it's always a part. Just don't let it exceed past a certain point and you're fine imo.

I think I will be different from people thought on this particular issue but although I have been a major victim to this particular case but if you look at it from one sense, I think its actually not greed and l think I will call it a name a good friend of usually calls it which is the act of being a full time hard core gambler he said and I quote "full time gamblers don't get scared and cashout". This whole statement was related to the fact that as a gambler we play game to actually win the actual amount thats on the betslip and not playing that we could lose and he made me understand something that one can never win big if you play and cash out almost all your tickets just because you are scared although I relied him one simple answer which is those gamblers that are die hard, are the ones that actually feel gambling is an office work which can't avoided.

Many gamblers have their fair share with cash out bets. And op, for me it wasn't greed looking at your own scenario, you took the decision of not cashing out the $200 because that wasn't what you have placed your mindset on winning. And it's understandable.

There are cases where a gambler decides to cash out $500 in a bet he was supposed to win $5000 should his predictions all play as predicted but out of fear and unsure about the remaining few games left to play, went ahead and cashed out the $500 only for the predictions to end up playing as predicted. Now it will not be called greed he will feel but regret.

So either way gambling our decisions to cash out half amount of our total potential win or not is still a thing of gambling. It's can be described as a second tier of gambling after we have made our wager.

This is not greed. It can't be. Greed is different from have an expectation or being optimistic about the outcome of an event. This has never happened to me once but I have been tempted but never succumb.

It is painful. To lose just at the very of winning but it is human nature to ask what is the worse that can happen, to dare to take risks.
This is not greed of course, its just a human nature to regret not winning that much or missing the opportunity to make a profit. Can’t remember if I have the same situation but I know I regret some for not betting on a team that I know will win the match, this can’t be a mistake though but a missed opportunity. Don’t be too emotional with gambling, there are risk and winning is not there every time you play.

Do they really make mistakes?? Yes .. do I really see them as mistakes? No... The questioning will begin; why ? I'd say that every strategy that's being used by any gambler would have been thier first priority, which was certainly believed to carry every possible weight for a win, but sometimes don't... Now, mind you they've always got serveral options in mind when wagering.... So how's that a mistake?? When from Thier analysis, everything was well set for a win??
That's would possibly take your mind back to the picturing the points I normally make about this whole scenario... gambling is a game of chance .

Let's discuss.

Greed is one factor in a situation when a player has won a good amount already but instead, continues to gamble aiming for bigger win which at the end emptied his bankroll.  But in an initial session, if one is playing a luck-type game, I do not think that there is a factor that will prevent him from winning big because the result of luck-type games is random so the gambler would not say that he has a big winning, to begin with.

If we are talking about those who won 1kx to maximum win, I believe it is their bankroll that prevents them from winning a really huge amount of money, since the minimum bet winning result is way lower than the maximum bet winning result

I'm sure all have faults and I myself have repeatedly made the mistake of missing my big win in one mistake.
My last story is when I dreamed of getting something big and buying a 4D lottery ticket and randomizing some numbers to my liking.
Before the number was drawn, a friend told me to buy a ticket that I had previously bought at a price of 500$ and I thought this was very big for me. After that, I sold my ticket to my friend.
It was very disappointing after a few hours I received the money the lottery came out and I was surprised the numbers I compiled got the jackpot and my friend got around $ 7200 and I could only stare at how happy my friend was at that time but I was actually disappointed selling lottery tickets to my friend. Very sad

Not sure in which casino you are placing a bet, top casinos have the cash out option all the time and once you think that the predicted outcome is not possible you can withdraw the amount. As a gambler you go through these situation whenever you place a parlay bet, you loose some and you win some and if you would have won the bet, you would be thinking how smart you were by rejecting the cash out option Grin.
This is actually my mistake, for taking profit early and later on I should have won more if I didn’t hit the button to take profit. Well, this is the usual scenario in gambling and for me we should not regret it since profit is a profit and better to avoid that kind of emotion because it can trigger your greediness to gamble more and the result might be different this time. Gambling can be very exciting, and having the profit on your wallet makes a lot of sense.

But what if you lose? For sure, you will thank yourself that you take your profit early.
This scenario tells us that we can never be sure about the next thing that may happen to our game.
So it is our decision to cut it and take the winnings, or continue and possibly lose all those profits.
You can't tell that you will win the next time you place your bet, so it is really your choice on what to do next here.
