He is not picking anyone. He only selects from the list of opponent who agree to fight against him. It is Bellator who organizes the fights, pay contracts. Either Fedor asks to much for his fight and to be able to pay him, they select low budget opponents, either nobody wants to fight him anymore. Previously it was an honor for top fighters to fight against him, when he had solid record, now when he is not in any ranking, has a bunch of losses, yet still can beat anyone with experience, few wishes to risk. Or Bellator has no money to pay for top opponents. In Russian media, Bellator sometimes is named funny - "bum-lattor" (бoмжaтop - in Russian) or "beggar-lattor" if translating it.
I understand that he chooses from a list of fighters, but isn't choosing the same as picking?
When I said picking, I was not implying that he is ducking more well known names (as they are not on the list), I am just wondering why he is fighting in the first place and not waiting it out for some meaningfull superfight. That's all.
