I kinda think that PFL and ONE are better options these days, but you take what you can get I guess. Bellator has fallen down the ladder in the last couple of years and maybe that their past record catching up to them. It's not that they are putting up bad shows, it's just that they have a shitty track record. Just my oppinion.
PFL is heaving a very long breaks without any fights, I can't remember when they had last event, and ONE championship is only having unknown asian fighters recently.
PFL next event is in the end of October and that is not acceptable if you want to be serious in MMA business.
Bellator is more active, fights are happening almost every weekend, and they have bigger names signing for them like Yoel Romero and now Kai Kamaka III.

Big news for Bellator is new signing of Kai Kamaka III after his contract with UFC expired with one win and two loses.
He will be good addition for featherweight category and one more UFC rejected fighter.

Great event Bellator 267 Lima vs MVP 2 starting in few days with blonde female co-main event Leah McCourt vs Jessica Borga.
After long time this event is happening in London England, but I am not sure how much crowd will be attending it.

Dana White's Contender Series 2021 Week 5 is scheduled for tomorrow, and we have five more potential UFC fighters if they perform good and win in theit fights.
Main event is looking interesting with one more fighter from Poland with perfect 8-0 record, Łukasz Sudolski fighting against Igor Poterya from Ukraine.
Sudolski is heavyweight fighter coming from Babilon MMA and I think Dana is now pushing hard for Polish fighters.

All fights are confirmed with one big weight miss and 30 percent fine for fighter Gaxhja.

Check out face-offs video:

Because at the end of the day, they are fighting for our entertainment as well as making a way for their earnings right?

I wouldn't agree with this. Some are doing it because of potential pay (keep in mind that initial MMA pay is shit), most do it because they are good at it and actually like it, but non do it because they want to entertain people that are watching. If there is a small percentage of people that do it for entertainment then those people have issues and should be informed that there are simpler ways to entertain people, like being magicians at a kid's b-day party. The only one they are doing it for is themselves. I am genuinely sad to see this happen and hope that the sport can evolve to a much safer competition, but let's not put this on the people that watch that said sport.

Very unfortunate news, A Brazilian MMA Fighter  Lucas Gabriel Perez has died from a head injury he received on 11 September. He was only 22 years old and after that fight on 11 September, he said to his family that he was having some headache and was taken to the hospital instantly. His condition went worse day by day and was transferred to another hospital instantly only to be declared dead this Saturday. RIP.  Hope the MMA fans and his family will be able to withstand this huge loss.
It is really unfortunate to hear news like these, the problem with small promotions is that they will not be getting enough payment and the problem i think  here in this situation is that there is no medical clearance required to fight.

I searched online but could not find much information as they are still investigating the cause of death even though they say that the cause of death is head injury. There is no report whether the injured was there before coming into the fight and it got worsen after the fight or he sustained the injuries during the fight.

Sad news and this happens from time to time, but not that often. When you take into consideration that there are many fighting styles (boxing, kickboxing, MMA, MT...), statistically there are not many deaths and injuries. And talking about the viewers distancing themselves from the fighters...if we didn't have that no one would watch this or any other sports because they would be mortified to death. That's the minds natural defence mechanism.

Actually, these types of sports always have the chance of getting injuries which sometimes even lead to death. Although the fighters always have that in mind, but as a whole, it is very saddening for us to see a young fighter like him leave the earth very early in time. Because at the end of the day, they are fighting for our entertainment as well as making a way for their earnings right? I hope his family has the power to withstand this loss. RIP

Gabriel had 2 wins and 1 loss in the pro play and both of his wins were from submission and he lost the 1 match from a KO. Though he was not one of the most renowned players, but his loss will be very big for the MMA community.  Is there any possibility to deteriorate these kinds of deaths? I know these are extreme sports but if there's any way these deaths could be prevented, that would have been so good.

That is a danger and risk of every combat sport.
I never heard about this amateur fighter but every time you step into octagon or ring you are fighting for your life and you can always get some fatal injuries.
Most people don't understand that because they never got a single punch in a face and they only watch it on tv.
RIP

Lol, what is "Capitan Petchyindee Academy " ?  Cheesy They could have named him as "That guy from Thailand" better.

This is actually a guy - Asanan Praanekpanansri aka Diesellek Aoodonmuang, Diesellek Phran 26, Diesellek Petchisirgym, Diesellek Pangkongprab. Damn, these Thai fighters names are difficult.

I just put it out here waiting for y'all to notice it XD I wasn't sure if it was a real name or just the name of a gym he trains in XD I get the other names, they are hard but understandably, I am not from that part of the world, but Captain Academy just takes the cake. Anyway, I actually wish the man luck, rooting for him.

Also, One FC is having an event tomorrow. Some interesting names as well. I myself am looking forward to seeing Buchecha fight. ALways love seeing BJJ wizards step in the ring, even if they do badly. Also, the event has MT and kickboxing in true ONE FC fashion, so there is something for everyone.
This might be a good warmup for UFC event and heavyweight fight might be interesting to watch with Amir Aliakbari vs Anatoly Malykhin.
I think they are still broadcasting everything for free live on youtube, and yesterday they had live Press Conference and Faceoffs: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0qhvgQfuysI

This weekend is break time in Bellator.

Dana White's Contender Series 2021 Week 4 is starting in few hours with five fights and some new potential UFC prospect fighters, and I am looking for Michael Morales from Ecuador that is fighting against Nikolay Veretennikov in welterweight division.
Morales have a perfect 11-0 record and if he wins he would be good addition to welterweight division and potential test for champion Kamaru Usman.
Main event Hashem Arkhagha vs AJ Dobson is also interesting middleweight category fight, and you can find all those fights on Sportsbet:

Not bad. Some interesting prospects lingering in the background. Let's see how they do in the long run.

Ok, but Adesanya was first and foremost not dominated in the wrestling department when he moved up to LHW. He was dominated by Jan's disregard for his power, Jan's tactics and Izzy not having that range he works off within his category. Secondly, Phil Davies is actually an amazing wrestler and the way he implements it into MMA is outstanding, so I am not really banking on Yoel here.
Jan Błachowicz dominated Israel Adesanya in wrestling and he was able to dominate him and then the range was another problem in their fight and Israel Adesanya took a challenge and he failed and there is nothing wrong in it. But your prediction about Yoel Romero was right because i had no idea about Phil Davis dominating him in wrestling but in the fight he was able to and won the fight even though it was a close fight.

Again, not really sure if I would call Jan's victory dominated by wrestling. I'd say it was dominance in tactics. But that's semantics and no, there is nothing wrong with Adesanya taking the fight and losing. As for Davis, ever since he dominated Gustafsson I am not doubting him (even though Guss developed his wrestling after that with him).

Yoel Romero lost by split decision and I said that changing a division is not easy and it was even harder when you are fighting with ex champion Davis.
Romero only had some chance in first round but he missed that and his debut in Bellator was not like he expected, and he is getting older.

Other big news is that Anthony 'Rumble' Johnson had to cancel his participation in Bellator Grand Prix after reporting some illness problem, so Bellator called replacement from Lithuania Julius Anglickas to fight against Vadim Nemkov on October 16.

Ahahahaha, that totally escaped me, thank you for pointing that out XD I mean, I know people get shorter with age, but not that rapidly. Yoel will forever be an enigma to everyone Cheesy

Anyway, here are the full results

Is it now time to hang up the gloves Yoel? 5 losses in 6 fights, time to end it on a..eh... semi-high note? Phill is still so dangerous, I wish he was in the UFC tbh.

Yes, it's high time he did. He's 44. Funny how he thought the fight was gonna be 5 rounds. lol  Grin

Wait, he did? That's a miscalculation, to say the least XD At the end of the day, Romero is a freak of nature and/or maybe performance-enhancing supplements, but 44 is where major organizations should draw the line and say enough is enough. Especially on the high level, he has been, not just in MMA but also in wrestling before it.
